Hi good morning how are you. I just rewatched the Christmas special like 7 times. I enjoyed it so much.

anyways, who is your favorite star fleet tug and the zero fleet tug?

Favorite Star Tug would be Top Hat, no contest. Favorite Z-Stack... Zorran, Zip and Zug. Can't choose between 'em lol.

I love Zak too, although that's mainly due to headcanons and ideas expanding upon what we see in the show and early concepts/deleted scenes. Zebedee... least interesting in terms of writing, given how High Winds is the only episode in TUGS to explore a Z-Stack deeper, thus already having all the work done for expanding.

Yes, they are fan made. Most of those titles were done by yours truly. Mainly done as a way to make the episodes easier to remember with some silly titles lol.

Most were entirely original, more outstanding ones including "Down in the Dumps" and "The Best Zero", but some were reusing titles from older YouTube uploads of the segments by themselves, "Otis the Movie Star" and "Zug Gets Blamed".

Reason for the change in title was due to them not really fitting what the TUGS segments were about. Don't think "Desperately Seeking Sadie" works for the context of the TUGS segment alone.

In the video titles however (the titles here), plus the description, are for the Salty's Lighthouse episode these originate from, for those strong enough to watch the non-TUGS stuff in Lighthouse (can't stand the animated bits personally lol).

All the videos on the channel, along with the profile picture and banner, were edited together by myself as well.

Hey, uh, would you mind answering a question I have about Salty’s Lighthouse?

So, I looked up the show and noticed that someone had uploaded the TUGS segments to YouTube-with titles that weren’t just the titles of the episode the segment appeared in.

And then, confusingly, I found that different places on the Internet had different titles for the SAME TUGS segments.

I heard that the segments’ titles were given in episodes’ credits, but I checked the credits and couldn’t find them, so…. where did these segment names come from? Are any of them official, or were they all just made up by fans?

Sorry if this ask is a bit long.

the titles for the tugs’ segments seem to be fan-made! i took a look at the credits of a full episode to verify, and the tugs segments are just listed as “boat segment(s)” rather than having titles of their own, and wikipedia doesn’t list any titles solely for the tugs segments

It’s Ten cents! I just love the way @castorfell draw him so much I have to try it myself…

I draw Ten cents base on the Regatta annual illustration where Ten cents and Hercules seem to be the only two tugs decorated with flowers. 🤔 (The others tugs pull barges decorated with flowers but the tugs themselves don’t have any flowers on them)

I also put him in a night light for modern boat parade too.

TUGS Weekend/Day - June 23rd

#TUGSWeeked, a hashtag I started on Twitter, is a day dedicated to TUGS as a show and as a fan base. June 23rd being chosen due to one of the days of the real life 1990 "TUGS Weekend" was held (June 22nd-23rd), along with being the day the Sizzle Reel audio and text description was first leaked online.

A day to talk about the show, share your fan creations, etc. Just enjoying being a fan of this darn show about those darned British (despite being American based) boats.

For my creation to share on this day is a preview for a project I've been working on for awhile. Here is a shortened down of TUGS episode "Bigg Freeze" - now 6 minutes long!
