in my oc-verse a toon is defined as A Living Illustration, they can look like anything so long as you made it. but you can't make an ai-made illustration into a toon. people haven't exactly Scientifically figured out why, (because toons don't have much any of a Science to them) and of course ai douchebags are certain they'll crack it any day now, but the general consensus amongst normal people with any sense is that it's because toons need your soul to be made, and ai is inherently souless :)

we were critiquing character designs in class today, when there was a really good one, and someone turned to the artist, holding their laptop. the screen of which just said "WOULD" in big trackpad-drawn letters

The really cool thing about hydrangeas is that they can be blue, pink, or purple based primarily on the pH of the soil. A free science experiment in every plant.
