I am someone who hopes to shed light to any other anons if she decides to post this. While some people may not understand the dynamics of this account, I know this person well, and they have put backbreaking work into their project, many things that took a very long time and countless revisions. It may seem strange to you, but I hope you can shed some light on this by reading their content. It's really lovely. - MB (A handle I will not use on anon again, so anything new from it is not me.)

Red: Sparky has been beyond down from all the negative comments she has been getting. She would have been fine if they actually gave criticism so she could improve, but instead, she was getting nothing but negative anonymous comments.

Sparky: It wears you down after a while ya know? Getting comments that are either extremely perverted or degrading is not a fun thing to deal with. 

Red: This Tumblr is meant to be an adventure story, not a “whack the user” or your “NSFW buzz”. Please stop.

Sparky: I am putting my foot down as none of those comments are getting viewed... even if they are the only ones coming in right now.

Uh, I don’t understand this.

Constructive criticism is not only helpful, but highly recommended. This is especially true when working on creative projects. To tell people that Constructive criticism isn’t helpful is more damaging than it is good. 

Even if the citicism is “I don’t like it because you included these themes” that lets you know that by including those themes you will cause a divide. It will therefore be something to keep in mind even if you don’t change it.

I say this because I used to have a hard time taking criticism. It DAMAGED me as an artist early on and it wasn’t until I was older that I started taking criticism seriously. Use negative comments to improve and grow, don’t just ignore them.

For the amount of content you are putting out, I don't see "8 years of work" lol

You don’t show 8 years of work in under 24 hours on a school day. She set this up in the past 8 hours. Chill and give this project a week or two to pick up. Then you can come back and say your piece.

Sparky: I have a character named Tygar instead of Tiger and a character called Cooper Whire instead of copper wire. Redgie is a pretty normal sounding name considering those two name choices.

Red: ... I mean you did name my brother Robert so our nicknames make Red & Robin... and named a character Whack because he acts like he was whacked in the head too hard.

Sparky: ... I did do that didn’t I.

Red: Puns in names is not a new concept for you Sparky. 

Sparky: Yeah, but there is usually a reason behind each name. Like Tygar being a directive of Tiger due to Kattian pronunciation, or Cooper Whire who connects people together in harmony and loves fixing/building machines. 

Red: Okay, that is a fair point... but why Redgie?

Sparky: :)

Sparky: Look it up and find out. :)

Red: Powerful... ruler?

Red: but I’m not a ruler, not even close.

Sparky: You are in a different way. None of the other characters has the power to change events in the kattia multiverse. In a way, that makes you a powerful ruler.

Did you really create a history book for your fictional universe and create a character to deal with the mess you made?

Sparky: Simple answer, no.

Red: If it were THAT simple this could have been completed sooner.

Sparky: Maybe a week tops.

Red: In real-time, that would be around 3 months. She is using A.D.D. logic right now. 

Sparky: Oh hush I’m not that bad when it comes to time management. 

Red: ... make that more like 6 months... or a year. Yeah, a year seems more accurate.

Sparky: Anyways, to answer your question in more detail, this isn’t a new concept. In fact, the events here are probably going to be cannon if I make any part of the Kattia Multiverse into a series. This includes things you may not have thought were part of this universe, like project Monty.

I was wondering why this comic was so good.

I think people forget that A.D.H.D. is a superpower equipped with its own kryptonite built into it. The comic so far is amazing and I totally feel you with wanting to do more. In order to get pages done you need to be inspired to do so. This results in a higher quality fan comic, but it also means that you can’t just make pages. 

Don’t feel pressured to keep a steady flow of pages. Your mind doesn’t work that way, and you should never expect it to. You are an amazing human being and while you should always push yourself to become better, you should never try to force your body and mind to do something it was never meant to do.
