After Mike discoves Casey's artistic side, painting some resistance-booster art on a quiet night turned into their thing.

Here is the graffiti in its unfinished glory.

I assume their symbol is a T btw, I don't know if someone has other interpretation for it in Rise, let me know.

In the Ronin AU, this would be the sign of their whole camp. Some people just couldn't trust mutants, so there are other rival camps in the beginning of the Apocalypse, until the dire situation forces them to finally unite under Leo's lead.

Thank you for letting me share some of my brainrot, not everything can be conveyed through only drawing (if you don't have time that is)

Yeah, we have very little canon facts about the Future, and they also can be contradicting, esp if you take the snippets we got from the scenes that didn't get in. But that makes a fun canon divergence AU possible and we love every version, from the fun Cass Apocalypse to MNMC angst. Anything is possible.

This AU is my invention, a somewhat fusion with the IDW comics The Last Ronin run. My main point is showing that 20+ years in the Apocalypse is fucking long, and exploring Leo between his 16 yo self and his peepaw self (in a very self indulgent way, tbh). I love all Peepaws, but I wanted to create my own spice. And what could give more spice than a troubled, secret past, lol.

I planned him to be more mature at the end (I'm sending him back in the present somehow, shh)

Plus, I enjoy "Raising Children in the Apocalypse with All Its Pros and Cons" storylines, especially when they center around the beauty of everyday stuff that keeps you human, yknow ^^

I've been trying to write some stuff about it on ao3, I just don't have enough writing juice yet, only for drawing, if that makes sense.
