Throwback to my favorite doll customization I have done. I made her face, hair, and all of her clothes. I'd love to work on some more micro-knitting. Sorry for my lapse. I recently broke my ankle 馃檭. I still need a little time to heal so I will be back on the 31st with new content. See you guys soon!

A wip shot of a new project I'm knitting. Used a bubble stitch I found on ravelry. I love the texture it has and I love the bright colors

My first fully knitted stuffed animal! I used the pattern from an archived joanns page called oso cute bears (linked below). I made 2 matching bears for some of my friends. The second photo is a wip for the second bear Using an eyelash yarn turned out so well (sew well =]).

Here is an update on my wip the rose pants. Working with a satin stitch to fill. You can see some of the issues I ran into with the paper I used. It got stuck in some of the stitches and caused some tension issues. But I'm happy with how it is turning out!

I was so upset when this hoodie started loosing its logo. It's from a local coffee shop in Kamms Corner called Common Grounds. I realized it would be the perfect subject to practice. I started with hand-sewing the logo back on. It's just a running stitch but the texture of the logo was a bit odd. I have a lot of plans for this one and I'm very excited.

A little update from my darning project. Couldn't stand the color I picked, so I figured give everyone something else to look at.
Tried drawing and pining a design to my jeans. Honestly would have been easier to draw on them with chalk or just buy embroidery transfers. Wish me luck on how it turns out!

Successfully tried darning. The floss stood out more than I liked. First time the weave came out so clean!

Not sure if #throw back Thursday is still a thing but this little ornament was too cute to not show.
This was a secret santa gift I made for some friends (pardon the censor) and their cat Murray (a rising star who doesn't mind the attention).

After the vendor sale, I still have many pride bracelets in stock. Any of these will be $4 without shipping.
I still have all shown and can still make custom orders (depending on bead type and size the price may be different).
If you have any questions or would like one, feel free to message me!

Ok, let鈥檚 start describing this longer pleated dress. I had a lot of fun editing this pattern.
First thing I shouldn鈥檛 have done. This was an extremely lightweight jersey I had leftover from a school project. It started off as a barbie pattern but I had to totally revamp the pleat sizes. You can definitely tell I need to make the waist smaller next time (especially in the back view picture). I did try to just have two velcro dots to secure it. Next time I might try to do it similarly to the last skirt next time because it isn鈥檛 as strong. Oh and I鈥檓 trying to get used to this new sewing machine and its strange tension issues (you can definitely see it round the bottom hem). But overall I鈥檓 pretty happy with how this turned out.

Scheduling?
Hi, another update post. I鈥檓 trying to decide how I would like to schedule my posts. I鈥檓 thinking about having 2 posts a week. One would be focused on doll clothes/accessories, the other about a doll I鈥檓 actually working on. Some of these posts might be photos or updates and others would be more like the muslin聽mock skirt post. I鈥檓 also working on some how-to posts or more process posts. I'm聽thinking the best days for me to post are Tuesdays at the same time as usual (8 o鈥檆lock). See you soon!

Muslin Mock Skirt

Ok, this is the first piece I ever made for monster high dolls and I鈥檓 gonna talk a little about the process down below.
This piece was a bit of a rough start. I鈥檓 going to go through my mistakes from least to most damming. I honestly like how the back lap turned out. The back is closed with small circular velcro dots. They hold pretty well even though the stitching was weird. I had to force my needle through plastic and the glue on it. It also can look a little bulky or strange. At this point, I didn鈥檛 have a sewing machine so this was sewn by hand. I wasn鈥檛 as worried about the stitches showing since I was mostly just practicing the pattern. I also tried to fit the skirt where I would like to wear a skirt. If I wanted to do this I would have to make the skirt much wider to go around her hips easier and add some volume. I think the main issue I had with it was the fact that monster high dolls had such extreme proportions that I didn鈥檛 take into account. The hips were much more dramatic, so it didn鈥檛 have the volume I wanted. Though I might recreate this pattern as a pencil skirt.
