I made a YouTube video! I can't say it's anything special, but I learned a lot by making it! I haven't tried editing in years, and this is my first time using Davinci Resolve.

There are two videos on youtube already that cover Doll's voice lines, but both of them stop short of her episode 7 lines, so I knew I could fill the gap! I don't know if anyone will find it interesting, but it dosen't really matter. I feel like this is the least I could do to showcase my favorite character in my favorite show. :)

I drew this lil’ space walker on Magma dot com so that a friend of mine could draw with me. It’s nice to have some company! So, yeah! Draw with friends whenever you can! ❤️

To start things off, take a look at this little dude! My currently unnamed OC!

Right after I whipped up my whimsical little cowboy and his faithful deputy, my talented friend, 3D Skullins, reimagined him into the Lone Ranger-esqe figure you see above! I absolutely love his take!

Once I decided to take digital art more seriously, I invited my friends to join me in Aggie.io and drew this:

I carried over several of the elements Skullins came up with, although I forgot his eye mask. I also figured he could use a belt, as it would make his pants make a bit more sense. For whatever reason, this little dude doesn’t like his new digs lol. Oh well, I’ll figure something out at some point, as I plan on keeping this character around and improving on his design. Speaking of, if you have an idea for what I should call him, or tips on drawing him better, hit me up!

Hi! Welcome to my blog!

So what’s this all about?

Everything! I mean, art, but like all different kinds. Not to be too dramatic but I had a bit of a rough childhood, so I missed out on many of the opportunities I had to be creative and to express myself. Now that I’m older I want to try all sorts of new things! I want to draw and make music, and write stories, and make videos! This blog is to document my journey. Nearly everything I make will end up here! I may also post good advice or tutorials as I find them, in addition to anything I can use to keep myself and those who follow me motivated!

How often will you post?

Sometimes I’ll post a lot! Like, too much. And sometimes I’ll be gone so long you’ll wonder if I died! In reality I’m probably just busy doing adult stuff like doing my taxes, or swapping the tires on my truck, or screaming into a pillow! Or maybe I just fell off the grind. Who knows! No matter what, I intend to give each of these artistic pursuits an honest try, even if I don’t stick with it all the time.

Are you any good at making art?

That’s the best part! No! Absolutely not! In fact, I don’t think I have a drop of natural talent in my entire body! But I’m working on it, and we’ve all got to start somewhere. I remember back when I was in middle school, I played the French Horn in the band. Not trying to toot my own horn or anything (pun intended :P) but I was first chair for a while. Other band members used to ask me how I got so good at my instrument. I would tell them the truth: Hard work, at least an hour of practice every day. I’ve since lost those horn skills but I imagine I’ll have to apply a similar strategy if I want to get good at these new things I’m trying. In any case, no one is obligated to like or share my art. Criticism and tips are encouraged and appreciated!
