Part of Heron's story is having a literal never ending flame. Basically, part of his powers are to support the heat of the fire that once burned his body down to ashes. When he access this flame, a light comes from his chest lighting up his veins and body allowing him to burn things around him.

Since his story is set in a medieval time, I wanted to make this kind of art to represent the dramacity of his story. It's a poster, basically. And I loved everything about it ♥︎

Last year, when I was starting to make the concepts for Reeda and the other characters of my story, this was the first "poster art" that I did to guide me with the concept of what I wanted for my story.

I wanted something that would communicate directly whats the mood and I got this:

I changed my style in a few things and the world (the background and the city where the story is going on) also changed, but this art still has the aura that I want. Something to show how dangerous she can be and to show how the story will proceed!

I had a very... VERY hard work to get this result! I got an art block for 2 weeks and I just couldn't finish it. My brain simply crashed. But after waiting a little and doing each step by step, I finished it :)

Reeda is one of the protagonists of my first comic project. I once had a dream with this monstrocity of a red alien "lizard" woman and I tought that was a nice concept for some story. So I decided to use her for my first comic project ^^ And also, besides her concept being something I find really cool (ferocious killer beasts from some failed lab experiment) I wanted to learn how to portray rage and fierce in my art.

I also wanted an excuse to draw explosions + action with a female monster that's not just a pretty face 👀

Now, about her character: Reeda is an "experimental" soldier trained since a young age to be the perfect killer machine for the government of Korsov. She is used to being animalistic and act like a wild tiger, it's skilled in hand to hand combat and they mostly use her to train soldiers and well... Finish people that might be a threat to Korsov's government. They needed something to controll people, so they gave them something to fear. Reeda, it's one of their tools.🧍🏼‍♀️
