TANG XUAN X YUUHIME DATING HEADCANONS 🩷

•Warnings; none, besides slight nsfw if you squint (nothing too graphic, just neck kissing and mentions of making out, but nothing too much) and they're a bit ooc, but I tried ☝️

• this is purely for my brain to go insane about

• I like to think that Tang Xuan had literally 0 idea he had fallen for Yuuhime until Li Ling commented about how dumb he is around her, like bro fell first but fell so hard there's a hole in the floor kind of dumb, which led to Tang Xuan just going "huh." And then cringing about it later because how could he not have realized it.

• Yuuhime is a whole different story though, homegirl was going THROUGH IT 😭. She's aware she's fallen for him, but it's a classic case of "oh, he doesn't feel the same for me" kinda thing, and the fact that she has no idea how to deal with the butterflies on her stomach when she's around him besides ignoring them, but that didn't exactly help.

• And it's even worse when they do get together because they act like a teen couple that's way way wayyyy too sweet for their own good, like I'm talking ice cream dates under a nice sunny day kinda wholesome. It got to the point where Li Ling can't stand to be in the same room as the two of them because they're so mussy it irritates him (Li Ling does infact tease Tang Xuan about it)

• Tang Xuan absolutely loves to hold Yuuhime's hands, they're always so cold, and his are always so warm, why not warm them up? Yuuhime on the other hand, likes to caress Tang Xuan's face, she touches him like he's made of porcelain, his face is like a heating blanket, it makes her feel safe.

• Another thing Tang Xuan likes to do is kiss Yuuhime's hands and arms, he feels compelled to because why not? He doesn't need a reason to, he just does, cheek and forehead kisses are more common, because he instinctively kisses Yuuhime's cheek/forehead. Yuuhime on the other hand is more reserved with her kisses, she enjoys kissing his neck and face because to her, kissing is intimate and should only be shared between him and her (especially when they get a bit too spicy with each other, that's more of a once in a blue moon thing), but she has no problem receiving cheek and forehead kisses in public from Tang Xuan however.

That's all I feel like writing about 🧏

Ao there are just my thoughts about this ship, why I like it and etc.

I love the way they care about each other. Even when Akutagawa tries to look cold, he still deeply cares about Higuchi and will do anything to protect her and Higuchi will support Aku no metter what either.

I love the idea of them helping each other understand that they don't have to "deservse" someone else's love and that they can be loved as they are. Akutagawa sees himself (his desire to be "appreciated by an authority figure") in Higuchi. Deep inside he knows how stupid and harmful for him it is and that he doesn't want Higuchi to suffer the way he does, so he tries to "protect" her from what he feels to Dazai by pulling away. Higuchi sees that Akutagawa suffers from it either and she wants to show him that he doesn't have to deservse her love, bc she will love him no metter what, unlike Dazai do (from their point of view) and Akutagawa will see and embrace it.

I like to think that even if they would got together, there won't be any formal things like "let's date". They just would know they love each other and will be here for each other no metter what. Akutagawa would afraid of telling Higuchi "I love you" first, but if she says it, he would immediately say "I love you too". If someone says smth bad about Higuchi, Akutagawa would immediately be like "say it again, if you don't wanna live, you son of a b*tch" and I like the way it's basically canon the other way around. Akutagawa would absolutely be amazed if he saw Higuchi in a dress. The same goes for Higuchi if she saw him in a suit. Every time Akutagawa falls his mission, Higuchi tries to support him, but he doesn't want to disappoint her so he tries to act careless, but after all he will let her feel sorry for him.

AND I ABSOLUTELY ADORE THIS SCENE

And Higuchi would canonicly kill anyone for him (which is pretty normal for their world)

I really hate it when people say their relationship is "abusive", cuz these morons really can't see things deeper and it's sad.
