do you have a theory why gummigoo reached out to pomni when she mentioned his name?

I like the idea that he truly didn’t remember her until she said his name (as he never told her his name) — hence why he looked shocked/distressed and reached out to her, like he suddenly remembered her. That or he’s weirded out that she knew his name when he never told her, but I like the former option more
