On November 6, 2020, outside of the Monaco Hookah Lounge in Atlanta, rapper King Von (Dayvon Bennett) was involved in an altercation with Quando Rondo’s crew, leading to Bennett being shot multiple times before dying later that day at the age of 26. Two other people were shot also, and six were wounded.

A day later, Quando Rondo’s affiliate, Timothy Leeks, was charged with murder for killing Bennett. On August 21st, Leeks’ attorney revealed that the felony murder charges were dropped due to prosecutors believing his actions were of self-defense.
