Hi there! I looked through the requirements and was a little confused. 1. What is the difference between the art pieces that are submitted for the "sample" and the "portfolio"? 2. From what I understand, I need a minimum of 5 unique art pieces right? 2 for the "sample" and 3 for the "portfolio"?

Samples are the best work you want us to look at, a portfolio has at least 3 things and can include WIPs. Your portfolio can include the 2 samples and 1 other work for a minimum of 3.

Hello, I'm wondering about how artists and writers are going to be intertwined in the Souls planner. A planner is just a set of squares with maybe a little graphic design, so are there going to be illustrations and writings alongside the planner squares? Do you have an example of what the zine plans to look like for its interior? (Also the link to tumblr & email on the carrd is broken)

Hi! Thank you for bringing the Caard errors to our attention, we will get that fixed as soon as possible!

For Artists, we hope to integrate their work into the page design. Some great examples of other zines that have done this well are the Fire Emblem Planner and the Kirby Planner.

For writers, it really depends on the interest check results. For example, if there is interest in short-form writing we would aim to include those in the monthly sections.
