i dont consider myself a 'fashion guru' by any means but one thing i will say is guys you dont need to know the specific brand an item you like is - you need to know what the item is called. very rarely does a brand matter, but knowing that pair of pants is called 'cargo' vs 'boot cut' or the names of dress styles is going to help you find clothes you like WAAAYYYY faster than brand shopping

Jumping on this to add, we are supposed to hate the sound. It motivates us to fix the issue or soothe the baby. Mother's to the baby have physical, sometimes painful, reactions to the sounds of their babies crying which can include panic attacks, general anxiety, crying themselves, or intense anger as they fight to get to their child.

I learned this from my OBGYN after I had my baby and the sound of baby's cry made me cry and if my husband was holding baby at the time I had vicious thoughts of destroying him to get my baby back. I never did of course. He's a lovely fellow. The impacts of the cries do lessen over time though. I do not react as I did when I was freshly post partum and me and my new son are learning each other without the need for loud demands. (But I mean he is still a baby so he will still cry but less so now)

I hate the sound of babies crying, but I can't hate a baby. They've been here for like five minutes and approach this situation with an unhesitant attitude of "my needs are unmet and I am going to make it everybody's problem", and I respect that.

Y’all I want to throw massive kudos out to the Roger Williams Park Zoo for a choice they made today: rather than joining in on a GenAI trend all the zoos are doing right now, they chose to support and spotlight an artist on their staff!

The big thing right now is these GenAI “figurine toys” of zookeepers or zoo management. And instead they shared a version drawn by one of their staff!

Go give them some love, if you’re on FB. Too many zoos are really getting into GenAI and just whitewashing the climate change / copyright issues that come with it, so I want this zoo to get as much positive feedback as we can muster for making a better choice.

I have big boobs. I use deodorant in between my boobs to combat boob sweat smell. Others with big boobs know what I'm talking about.

So when the water misses my mouth and enters the cleavage it becomes a sticky mess and sensory nightmare and I wish I was dead.

one of the top ten worst sensory feelings? drinking something and accidentally spilling it directly into your cleavage instead of your mouth. for those without boobs, i know this sounds like a comically impossible infomercial situation but it actually happens a lot ok
