Gods Games - Helluva Boss version
[Stolas]:
God King
Rarely do I ask for favors
Now, I'm knocking on your door
With hopes to save a friendship with one who's a prisoner far from home
Blitz
[Satan]:
Divine intervention, is that what you seek?
To untie apprehensions that were placed on that Greek Hell?
You are playing with thunder fire for a man full of shame
But if he's worth the risk of going under, why not make it a game?
Convince each of them that he ought to be released, and I'll release him 🎵
[Stolas]: Who’s them?
[Satan]:
Andrealpus , Vassago , Leviathan, Asmodeus, Beelzebub, or me
What do you say?
[Andrealpus]:
Great
[Vassago]:
Very well
[Leviathan]:
Eh
[Asmodeus]:
Alright
[Beelzebub]:
Groovy
[Stolas]:
Bring it

Epic birds~
When I'm bored I usually sketch epic characters and gods like birds, so I said, why not draw them digitally?

🎵 You killed my sheep
My favorite sheep
What gives you the right to deal a pain so deep?
Don't you know that pain you sow is pain you reap?
Time to drink your blood over where you stand
Your life now is in my hand
Before I'm done
You will learn that it's not so fun to take
You came to my home to steal
But now you'll become my meal
A trade you see?
Take from you, like you took from me 🎵

Astræa Telemachus-Dekarios
Pronounciation: as-tree-a
youtube
Theme song:
Basics:
Sexuality: Straight (heterosexual)
Gender: Female
Age: TBA
Alignment: Lawfully good to chaotic evil
Relationship type: Polyamorous (for tactical alliance purposes)
<> Ember is so infatuated with the different factions of the tribes she can’t choose one partner to stay with— whilst this is benefit to her cause it’s also a flaw on her character and shows indecision
Occupation:
• Princess of Ithaca
• Warrior
Nationality:
• English 🇬🇧 - via mum
• Greek 🇬🇷 - via dad
Nicknames/Aliases:
Hecate (due to her being a witch and being able to cast spells, oftentimes got her bullied at school to give her this name)
<> Which is ironically Hecate is the mother of Circe and the mother-in-law of “Telemachus” (historically) in The Odyssey
Family:
Mother: Aurora Dekarios (OC)
Father Telemachus
(Maternal) grandfather 1#: Gale Dekarios
(maternal) grandfather 2#: Astarion Ancunín
(paternal) grandmother: Penelope
(paternal) grandfather: Odysseus
Appearance:
Hair:
Astræa’s, catching the light like golden threads against the earthy warmth of sunlit dunes. Her hair has a natural, untamed texture that reflects her free spirit, with tighter curls framing her face and looser spirals cascading down her back. The way her curls shift with every movement gives her an air of dynamic energy, a visual echo of her lively, determined nature.
(The color has a gentle, earthy quality, tying her to both the grounded nature of Aurora and the radiant determination of Telemachus)
Eyes:
Her eyes are a striking blend of pale silver and icy blue, resembling moonlight shimmering on a calm sea. Their depth holds an almost ethereal quality, reflecting the wisdom and determination inherited from her parents. Her gaze is sharp and perceptive, often giving the impression that she sees more than what’s on the surface. When she’s thoughtful or focused, the silvery hue seems to intensify, like frost spreading over a clear lake. In moments of warmth or vulnerability, soft undertones of blue emerge, hinting at the complexity and balance of her character.
Skin Tone:
Her skin is a smooth, warm ivory with faint golden undertones, as if kissed by sunlight. Her complexion carries a natural glow, striking a balance between the fairness inherited from Aurora and the subtle, sunlit warmth reflective of Telemachus’ heritage. A few faint freckles dust her nose and cheeks, adding a touch of youthful charm, while her skin’s radiant quality enhances her ethereal presence. The contrast between her luminous complexion and her sandy curls creates an arresting, timeless beauty that mirrors her unique lineage.
Physique:
She has a lean, athletic build that speaks to her strength and agility, shaped by her adventurous lifestyle — She’s tall and lithe, with long limbs that give her a graceful yet commanding presence. Her frame is toned but not overly muscular, emphasizing her dexterity and endurance rather than brute strength. Despite her slender silhouette, there’s a quiet power in her stance, a testament to her determination and resilience. Her movements are fluid and purposeful, with an elegance that mirrors her sharp mind and balanced heritage.
Notable Features:
Fangs — While not overly pronounced, Astræa’s slightly sharper-than-average canines hint at her dhampir nature, adding an edge to her otherwise gentle appearance.
<> Her eyes might shimmer faintly in darkness, like moonlight on water, giving her an otherworldly aura.
• Behavioural features — she moves with an almost supernatural quietness, a trait inherited from Aurora’s dhampir instincts and Telemachus’ stealth as a warrior.
• Celestial traits — A faint, shimmering aura might surround her, like soft starlight or the glow before dawn, especially in moments of intense emotion.
<> In dim light, faint gold veins might glow subtly under her skin, a nod to her dhampir lineage and celestial heritage
• Tonality — Astræa’s voice could carry a melodic or slightly echoing quality, as if resonating with both her parents’ worlds ~ smooth, commanding, and captivating.
<> Astræa despite having an English mother and a father who can speak English, as well, she has adopted a Grecian accent; very thick and heavy (to prove that she’s just not heavily relied on her parents traits. That she’s her own individual person as well 🤭)
Personality:
Comedic:
She inherits Aurora’s sharp tongue and dry humor but also exhibits Telemachus’s introspective tendencies. This combination makes her both engaging and thought-provoking in conversation.
Curiosity:
Like Telemachus, Astræa has a deep sense of loyalty to those she loves, yet she harbors Aurora’s skeptical and cautious nature. She won’t blindly follow orders but ensures her choices align with her values.
Intelligence:
From Aurora, she gains a knack for strategy and staying several steps ahead in high-pressure situations. Telemachus’s emotional depth complements this, allowing her to connect with others and make morally conscious decisions.
Family orientated:
Astræa values independence and self-reliance, like Aurora, but shares Telemachus’s strong attachment to family and community. She often tries to balance her individualistic instincts with her deep care for her loved ones.
Skills/Abilities:
Problem-solver:
Like Aurora, Astræa excels at thinking critically under pressure. Combined with Telemachus’s ability to navigate complex emotions, she is adept at resolving conflicts, both strategic and interpersonal
Leadership:
Telemachus’s ability to inspire and lead others mingles with Aurora’s more enigmatic aura, making Astræa a magnetic figure. People are drawn to her for both her charm and her air of quiet authority.
Combat/magical training:
Astræa’s combat education would likely be a hybrid of her parents’ strengths. She could learn swordplay and archery from Telemachus, while Aurora might teach her agility, stealth, and how to use her dhampir abilities in battle (e.g., enhanced speed, reflexes, or a connection to shadows).
<> Aurora guides her in tapping into arcane or vampiric energies, while Telemachus could focus on mythological and celestial connections, helping her understand the symbolic and practical uses of magic.
Other:
• Diplomacy and negotiation (from observing Aurora’s charisma and Telemachus’s storytelling).
• Strategy and leadership (from Telemachus’s experiences as a young hero in his own right).
• Wilderness survival (tracking, foraging, or even improvising solutions, blending Aurora’s cunning and Telemachus’s resourcefulness).
Background:
Education:
Aurora, with her dhampir nature and likely a strong connection to darker, more enigmatic wisdom, could teach Astræa survival skills, combat expertise, and a deep understanding of the supernatural. This would include lessons on navigating moral gray areas, understanding vampiric instincts, and harnessing power responsibly. Aurora may also instill a love for history, lore, and the nuances of diplomacy, teaching Astræa to read people and situations.
Telemachus, with his upbringing shaped by Odyssean principles, would emphasize heroism, strategy, and storytelling. He could teach Astræa about leadership, perseverance, and the importance of forging one’s path. His knowledge of sailing, navigation, and the natural world (like stars and tides) could give her a practical, adventurous edge. He might also share philosophical lessons about destiny, resilience, and loyalty.
Values and motivations:
• Like Aurora, Astræa believes in personal agency and freedom. However, she tempers this with Telemachus’s drive to seek fairness and protect those who are oppressed or vulnerable.
• Astræa is fiercely motivated to protect her family and loved ones. This includes both physical protection and emotional support, blending Aurora’s pragmatism with Telemachus’s deep emotional connections.
• Astræa has a strong drive to bridge divides between people, often acting as a mediator or peacekeeper. Her parents’ contrasting natures inspire her to seek understanding and unity among disparate group
• As a dhampir, Astræa is acutely aware of the darkness within her. She constantly fights the fear of losing control and letting that darkness define her, choosing instead to channel it into something positive and productive.
Relationships:
With Mum:
• Helicopter parent — Aurora’s protective instincts might occasionally clash with Astræa’s independent streak. Astræa might feel smothered at times, leading to heated but ultimately loving arguments about trust and freedom.
• Thirst for knowledge — Astræa could inherit Aurora’s sharp intellect and love for discovery. Together, they might delve into ancient mysteries, arcane knowledge, or vampire lore, creating a shared passion that deepens their bond.
• Nighttime activities — Since Aurora is part dhampir, she and Astraea might bond over shared nocturnal activities, like stargazing, nighttime hunting, or exploring secrets under the moonlight.
• Both could share a sharp sense of humor, often teaming up to outwit Telemachus in playful debates or arguments, making them a hilarious duo.
• Aurora’s guard might drop in private conversations with Astraea, where she admits her fears of failing as a parent or not being strong enough to protect her.
With Dad:
• Heart to Heart — Telemachus’s reflective and poetic nature might inspire Astraea to explore her own ideals. They could have deep conversations about heroism, morality, and destiny.
• Grecian Legacy — Telemachus could share stories of Odysseus and Penelope, showing Astraea how family history shapes identity while reminding her she can define her own legacy.
• Brave warrior — Telemachus might often express pride in Astraea’s courage and intellect, even if it leads her into danger, trusting in her ability to persevere.

Jorge just posted about how Tiresias' motif plays during the part where Odysseus stabs Poseidon, and that got me thinking.
The choir that sings smthn like "RUN POSEIDON" in No Longer You
they...weren't talking to Ody, were they....
They were telling Poseidon himself, to run, weren't they

That awkward moment when you’re listening to the Vengeance Saga songs and then the next song that Spotify jumps to is “Like You Mean It” so it just sounds like Poseidon went from revenge to seducing Odysseus — talk about bad timing for Spotify to shuffle songs 😂

Theory Time: Lotus Tea
I’ve listened to ‘Love in Paradise’ a few times now, and the more I think about each lyric, the more I believe Calypso would do anything to keep Odysseus on her island. Each line feels like it captures her determination and longing to make him stay, no matter the cost. I can picture her even slipping lotus—a mind-controlling substance—into his food or drink, blurring his memories of home and weakening his resolve. It would explain why he lingered for seven years, feeling unable to leave, as if caught in a web of enchantment woven by her devotion and subtle manipulations.
In the clip for ‘Not Sorry for Loving You,’ we see Odysseus finally able to leave, which made me wonder what changed that allowed him to break free. My theory is that something similar happened here as with the sirens—he discovered a way to resist Calypso’s influence. In the clip, he’s building a raft, something he wasn’t able to do back in ‘Love in Paradise,’ when he was so entranced he couldn’t even consider leaving. I believe that, by the time we reach the second-to-last song in the Wisdom Saga, enough time has passed for him to develop a resistance to the lotus mixture Calypso used on him. Perhaps it’s his longing for home and family that ultimately helps him break through the haze, allowing him to regain his willpower.
( I’d like to think Calypso eventually stopped using the lotus, but realistically, it seems unlikely; abusers rarely stop to self-reflect or acknowledge the harm they’re causing. 😂 )
What further supports this theory is Odysseus’s own words in the song ‘Open Arms,’ where he tells Polites that lotuses are a substance that controls the mind and even strips away free will. This line is key because it suggests that Odysseus is well aware of the effects of the lotus—and perhaps, over time, he learned to recognize and fight against its influence. It’s as if the fog starts to lift, and he begins to understand that he’s been held on Calypso’s island by more than just her charms. It also implies he’s actively fighting to reclaim his autonomy, despite the layers of manipulation. The fact that he eventually builds a raft and attempts an escape speaks to his resilience and determination. This knowledge of the lotus’s effects could be what strengthens his resolve, allowing him to break free after years of subtle coercion and magical interference.
🎵 My friend, I wish that I could say that I agree
But look at the way this fruit is glowing and filled with glowing seeds
It took me a while to notice just what kind of fruit they eat
It's a lotus, it controls your mind and never lets you free
That's what we'd get with open arms 🎵
Conclusion:
At first, I thought this was obvious, and I assumed everyone had picked up on it— until a friend mentioned they hadn’t considered it before ( thank you @firefly74 for making this theory possible 🫶) . Which made me realize that maybe it’s not as clear as I initially thought.
So, here’s my take: give the song a listen, and let me know what you think. Do you believe this theory makes sense, or do you think there’s another explanation for Odysseus’s eventual break from Calypso’s grasp? (Perhaps the willpower of family orientation and to get back home). I know her — Calpyso’s — manipulation is clear, but I’m interested in what might be going on beneath the surface, and if there’s a deeper reason why he finally found the strength to leave.
If you have any theories or thoughts let me know in the comments below!
