When did I realized I'm an introvert?

When I was eight and my mother expleined what prison is, and all I could think about is how awsome that sounded.

I could have a room for myself, I wouldn't be allowed to speak with people, I won't have to go to school, and all I have to do to get in is to kill someone?

This was my dream.

I love the idea of Hogwarts students wearing their ties as anything but ties.

As a headband, as a bracelet, as a scraf, as a hairtie, used in a braid to add a splash of color.

Sirius Black, Luna Lovegood, Ginny Weasley, and Teddy Lupin were known to have almost never wearing a tie the "correct" way. It drove McGonagall crazy, but she couldn't do anything about it because the rules only said that they had to wear a tie, not in what way (Every generation: Remus Lupin, Hermione Granger, and Lily Luna Potter, reminded her about the rule).

I want a gay movie that could not care less about the gay relationship.

I'm mean, just like other movies don't talk about how maybe their parents won't accept the because they are straight.

I just want someone to casually mantion that they are trans, and then everyone will be like "ok and?" And that it.

I want a couple who goes through so much that the fact that they are gay together just never comes up.

I want someone asking a character "so, when will you have a partner?" And the character answering "probably never, I'm aro/ace" and then that someone saying "oh ok. Wanna order some pizza?".

Or simply seeing a cute couple and saying "ugh I want a boyfriend. Or a girlfriend. A comfort human" and that this will be how they come out.

Why do I think most people who read and loved PJO or any other Rick Riorden book is mentally and/or emotionally unstable?

Because if you dreamt to go to a camp ran by a horse and an alcoholic, who make the kids wear bright neon orange shirts so it'll be easier to find their corpses - you were mentally and/or emotionally unstable.

Yeah, but the fandom gets stronger with each hole we fill

One of my favorite things in the Harry Potter books - maybe even my all time favorite - was the world building.

JK Rowling's plot was okay. The story line was fine. But the world? The magic world she created was incredable.

There are many fantasy books. And there are so many that are just as awesome or even more, but Harry Potter became a global phenomenon. I have no idea what in those books drew so many people in, but whatever it is worked.

But that nonexistent world we all been in is what made me come back for the fanfiction, fanart, headcanons and so much more.

For me, the books were fine. They weren't amazing. The plot was boring and I could tell what would happen in the end since the third book. Years later I understood that JK just spent few of the books getting Harry to grow up, so when she'll kill him, he wouldn't be a kid. So when he'll kill Voldemort he wouldn't be a kid. But those books that weren't that importent to the plot were so importent to the world building!

In the end, I always loved the fandom more then I liked the books. Because the fandom tells the more interesting stories.

Harry's story might have been the biggest. It might have been the story about the war and the hero that saved the day, and I do enjoy stories like that. But I love stories about the less in-the-spot-light characters:

I love reading fanfics about the marauders era. I love the Skittles and the Valkyries.

I love posts about how stupid the name Albus Severus is.

I love seeing fanart of characters that we didn't get a lot of information about.

I love headcanons about the sisters of the noble and most ancient house of Black.

I love heated arguments about whether characters were good or bad.

I love real ״to which Hogwarts house do you belong?״ that aren't just asking if you are brave, evil, nerd or yellow.

So when I say ״I love Harry Potter״ I don't mean the plot, and I most definitely do not mean the boy who lived, I mean I love that world, because it developed one of my favorite fandoms ever.
