“i actually have a gig tonight, if you wanted to come out. nine at the flicker club. interested?” he asked, smiling and raising his eyebrows in hopes she’d say yes. “anyways–how are things other than the shitty job? still drinking too much coffee every morning and then coming back again at lunch for more?”
“Perfect,” Sophia smirked at her friend. “Don’t worry. I’ll be the one screaming for you in the crowd,” She chuckled and shrugged her shoulders playfully. “Life is good as always,” She answered. “Just a shitty boss,” The brunette corrected and laughed. “Don’t worry about me. I’m always moving up,” She nodded.

“How do you know my name? And second, if I did that’s none of your business.” She tensed up. “Oh, good for you. I sure there’s a cookie somewhere, you’re very important.”
“How big is this town?” Sophia questioned. “Everyone knows everyone,” She continued. The brunette shrugged her shoulders. “Also your name tag,” Sophia told her. “I’ve been to your store.”

honor wanted nothing more than to avoid whatever human contact was trying to come at her today. instead, she had to deal with some entitled woman in an accidental collision being much louder than honor wanted or cared for. she didn’t have to deal with this in the workshop. honor rolled her eyes. “lower your voice,” she replied, blunt as ever. “and i apologize, but don’t take whatever has you this tightly wound out on a stranger. that’s a dick move.”
“Lower my voice?” Sophia repeated and blinked her brown eyes twice. “You’re trying to tell me what to do?” The brunette’s mouth opened in disbelief as she thought for a moment. “Where do you get off telling strangers what to do?” She asked the question this time. “I can talk however told I want to! Thank you Miss,” She said louder this time. “You’re the one that is being a dick. I lashed out because someone ran right into me.”

“Don’t blame this random person.” Maia said defending this person she never met before. “6 Months, not too long why.”
“Oh c’mon Maia,” Sophia groaned. “Don’t tell me you care about some random person that much,” She continued. The brunette nodded her head. “So you’re not a local yet,” She smirked. “I’ve been here my entire life.”

did he mind? did he mind? theo frowned, confused as to why this random stranger was suddenly going off on him when he had done nothing but, like, stand there. “um, yes, actually,” he hissed out, crossing his arms. “maybe you should look around you before you get up next time. you know, to check if there are other people around? like a normal person?”
Sophia immediately rolled her eyes. “Whoa now. Miss me with your attitude,” She blurted out with both hands up in front of her body. “C’mon mistake buddy,” The brunette quickly jumped to defend herself. “What are you doing anyway? Walking so close to the tables. Don’t you know that this is a public place and not your living room,” She said sarcastically. “Oh i’m not normal, thankfully enough too.”

“Then who’s was it? I know you seen me moved out the way.” Maia said cocking her head to the side, ordering a snack and a drink. “Yeah, what of it?” She said waiting her things. “Half the town works there.”
“Oh I don’t know. This person?” Sophia offered pointing to a random stranger. “Could be anyone really,” She shrugged. “Oh nothing. I was just trying to place where I've seen you before. Lots of blondes around here,” The brunette told her. “How long have you lived here?”

“what the hell!” finn muttered, stepping back from the person he’d clashed with. “i’m not the one standing up out of nowhere,” he snapped, picking up the leash of his dog that he’d dropped in the collision. “what’s the issue anyways? it’s not like either of us broke anything, right?” he rolled his eyes, picking up his yapping pekingese, butterball, from the ground.
“Honestly,” Sophia sighed. “You seem more fired up about this than I am,” She said with a small laugh as she raised an eyebrow. “Oh boo hoo, a stranger got upset with you,” The brunette said sarcastically. “You broke my train of thought. So something was indeed broken.” Sophia sighed again, and took a sip of her coffee. “Would you shut that thing up. This is a public place. I shouldn’t have to hear this.”

Fawn froze up for a moment, taking a couple of steps back as she composed herself. Calm but confused, she pointed out, “You bumped into me. I might’ve been a little close to your chair, but I was walking past and you stood up.” Eyebrows furrowed, she added, “It’s not a big deal or anything. But I was literally just trying to get to the counter.”
Sophia looked up at the woman, and noticed how she didn’t lash out back at Sophia’s anger. She pressed her lips together thinking for a moment. “True....,” She said simply. “I’m a little angry today because of my boss. I suppose I wasn’t looking where I was going.” It wasn’t often for Sophia to admit to wrong doings like this. She often felt too embarrassed, and vulnerable to do so. But there was something about this woman’s manner that made Sophia give in. “Are you okay?” She offered quietly. “What are you drinking? It’s on me.”

feeling a sense of relief that sophia actually knew who he was, he gave her a smile. “sophia. it’s good to see you,” he said, letting go of her arms now that he had confirmation that she was, in fact, alright. “ah, yep. lauren. triple americano with no ice; never actually met her, but i was always worried if i got her order wrong she’d somehow get me fired from afar.” he shook his head, shoving his hands in his pockets. “i actually gave up the barista life a little while ago. doing music full-time now… i guess i don’t have to ask if anything’s changed for you, career-wise.”
Sophia nodded when he said her name back to her. Her lips curling upwards, as she felt the stress from the text earlier easing off. “You’re on the nose,” She replied. “Honestly I wouldn’t put it past her, getting someone fired for something dumb like that,” the brunette agreed. She looked over as she talked about his career choice, pressing her lips together as her eyes widened with approval. “Nice one,” She told him as she smiled bigger. “Fucking go after your dream man. Go out and do it. I’m impressed. Let me know if you have any shows, i’m so there.”

Maia hung out at her favorite cafe researching things on her computer then she got a little hungry and went back to the counter, trying to move out the way but failing. “I do mind actually, You should’ve looked where you were going.” She said shoulder bumping the girl out the way. She hated being rude but not when they are rude first.
‘Who shit in your corn flakes?” Sophia questioned with sarcasm in her voice. “Clearly it wasn’t my fault,” She huffed at the woman. The brunette picked up belongings, walked over to the counter and placed her now empty cup on the counter. She turned around to face the other woman. “Who even are you?” The words came out of her mouth quick. “Wait... don’t you work at that bakery or something?”
#c; maia#convos#it's okay! It was doing that to me yesterday#hope you dont mind the light drama haha

harley yelped in pain when the collision knocked him aside and rammed his hip into the edge of a table, which somehow still felt criminally sharp despite the jacket he was wearing. the second tragedy was the cup of coffee he’d been trying to shake sugar into while walking. “shit!” this hiss was sharper as the steaming liquid ultimately spilled over the side of his hand. gritting his teeth, he managed to keep himself from reacting too quickly again, even though his hand kind of really hurt and he did not want to be holding that cup anymore. “are you good? did it get on you?”
Sophia felt the impact and closed her eyes together. Opening them she saw Harley. Even though she was several years older than him, they had both grown up in Cape Hazel. She had seen him around and shared a conversation every so often. “Already a shit day huh?” The brunette commented. “Yeah I’m good,” She shook her head and shrugged it off. Yet that wasn’t fully factual, she could already feel a headache coming on that was going to last all day. “You didn’t get hot coffee on you? Did you? That shit is fucking hot,” She sighed as she picked up her things that had fallen down to the ground in the exchange.

jace reflexively reached out and grabbed the other person’s arms to steady both them and himself when he got a good look at her face and smiled. “grande iced cappucino with vanilla,” he said, ignoring the annoyance in her tone. “good to see you. sorry for running into you; that was totally my bad, i wasn’t looking where i was going. you okay?”
Sophia looked up at the brunette man. She gritted her teeth and her eyes softened. She hadn’t meant to raise her voice at Jace. “Oh Jace,” She said as she voice lowered. “I didn’t realize it was you...” The woman offered as she met his eyes and took the coffee from his hand. “Yeah... i’m alright,” She nodded. “You know Lauren. Always riding my beautifully expensive ass,” Sophia chuckled while talking about her boss. “How about you? Are you still working here?”

Sophia was already exhausted from her day as she sat at a cafe table on her lunch. She sighed running her fingers through long, thick brunette hair. At that moment she felt a buzz come from her lap. She flipped over her phone and read the message from her boss asking her to book a meeting as soon as possible. Sophia huffed loudly pressing her plump lips together, it was her lunch time. Her boss wasn’t the easiest to work for, and always demanded more than humanly possible. The brunette stood up quickly and all of a sudden she felt movement colliding with her frame. “Do you mind?!” She insisted loudly, all the annoyance from her boss shining through her words with full force.

( summer bishil, cisfemale, she/her) ☆ you won’t believe who i just saw walking down main street! SUMMER BISHIL! what do you mean that’s just SOPHIA HENDERSON? who? a 29-year-old EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT…interesting. and they are COURAGEOUS & INDEPENDENT, but i should watch out for when they are STUBBORN & COMPETITIVE? will do.
tw: parental death, illness, cancer
Hello! My name is Erin. I’m twenty-five, and i’m from Canada. I live in the EST timezone and i’m been rpging for about 10 years now. I go by she/her pronouns.
Sophia was born in Cape Hazel to two successful people.
When she was three years old her mother got cancer, and became terminally ill.
When the woman was five her mother passed away. She doesn’t remember much of what happened. But it was difficult for her father, and he was never the same.
She grew up with a single father, and thus felt at odds with herself without a female role model.
Sophia has always been tough. When she was younger it was hard for her to make friends in school.
She always alienated herself with her tough exterior and barrier. In reality it was hiding an insecurity.
Sophia is smart, hyper driven and strong. She is a perfectionist and puts a lot of pressure on herself. She wants to be the best she can be and won’t stop at nothing. She has difficulty slowing down and enjoying what is in front of her already.
She just needs to learn to allow people to see her soft side as well and embrace interpersonal relationships
Likes: Iced coffee, rain, sunglasses, gelato
Dislikes: Disorganization, being rushed
Adding more soon!
#chintro#I've gotta run out now#but I thought I would get this up quick#I'll be back to add more <3#death tw#cancer tw
