I may have made this post before but Hello from the Hallowoods honest to god has some of the most accurately depicted children I have ever encountered in a piece of media. It actually scares me a little bit how on the nose some of these depictions are. Russell gets frequent nosebleeds just because. Johannah asks a woman she’d known for five minutes if she had any dead family members. Al shows off how fast he can run to literally anyone who will listen. As an oldest cousin and sibling (and an elementary education major) I literally know these kids in real life.
