„Bittersweet“ by Regenbogenwolle, wheel spun and chainplied. 100g, Merino with Silk, Camel and Alpaca. This drafted a bit unevenly, I guess it felted a bit during the dyeing process so it wasn‘t as relaxing a spin as I had hoped. That said- it turned out beautiful nonetheless :)

I dropped all my other projects to finish this in time for pride and it's finally done!! I wanted some cool aro merch (since I have absolutely nothing so far), and what's cooler than dragons?
The heart shaped flag was embroidered on afterward, and if you look closely, there are a bunch of tiny flags woven into the border.
My original intention was to use this as a long patch for the back of my denim jacket. But it makes a pretty cool necklace?? If only I didn't have to chop off half the design to realize my vision... (I have yet to commit, this is just tied on with a big ol bulky knot in the back)

BUY MY BESTIE'S CROCHET!!!
Hey Y'all! I'm posting this for my IRL bestie, trying to get some traction for his GODLIKE crochet works!!! If you want BLANKETS, if you want BAGS, if you want BEANIES-- HE'S YOUR GUY!!!
He's got prices ranging from $25 and upwards, with fair prices given the time and materials he puts into them. He can definitely use the support, especially this pride month as Florida continues to legislate the shit out of our bodies.
You can find his shop HERE! https://suiteheartswares.bigcartel.com/ And if you cannot buy or don't need anything, I humbly ask you toss a dollar or two his way here <3 https://ko-fi.com/suiteheartswares
If you have any inquiries about his work or would like to ask about custom crochet works, please feel free to reach out to me and I'd be happy to put you in contact!
Help support my bestie this pride month! <3 (Me modeling some of his beanies v)

Finished: morning cloud jacket
Ok, I realise I have not posted anything about this jacket yet, but it has been in the works for about a month already! This jacket is an all over slip stitch colourwork design, meaning you get all the benefits of using multiple colours without any of the drawbacks. I designed this myself so it was a real trial and error process! The jacket has a big boxy fit, drop shoulder sleeves and a collar. I'm right now finalising the pattern which I will upload to Ravelry when it's finished.

Oh nooooo, I'd had the perfect project plan, really cute idea, most romantic thing I'd ever do in my life.
Alas, the ADHD has claimed another victim. If I started right now, I'd need to make 10 blanket rows every single day for the next month....
I haven't chosen a yarn size?? Done a tension sample?? Worked out yarn amounts?? Or even the colours??
And my yarn shop isn't open again until wednesday??!?!
Luckily, my nemesis is also my saviour, because the adhd still believes it can be done, because now it is urgent!
Wish me luck!!
#don't get me wrong I know having ADHD is not all funsies at all#but this is the really fantastic side of it!#It's gorgeous#congratulations!#fiber crafts#crochet#<- uh correct me if I'm wrong about that

So here it is, my great mystery project - now finished!
On my search for a new crochet project that's at least sort of unique, I had the insane idea to recreate one of my favourite works of art. And well, I did. I'm honestly pretty proud of this one too because it took obviously quite a bit of effort and I'm still a beginner at crochet. Well, I'm sure someone else did it before and most likely even better, but if so I couldn't find it ;) (Not even a crochet pattern for the full thing!)
And because my photo skills aren't the best, just as usual...here's another photo taken with flash where you can actually see the stitches pretty well. Not sure if you should actually look at them closely though, lol.

Sorry I'm so late in answering... We love to see project pictures of everyone and all sorts of projects! It's inspirational and gives us new ideas about what to try.
But, do what you're comfortable with! That's the most important thing. <3
Another system who knits! hello! :D what are some of your current/recent/favorite projects? -L
Hello L! Nice to meet you :D
One of our projects right now is a blanket made out of squares. It's going to be a big one when finished and takes a looong time!

you guys remember olney handkerchief, right? I confess I sometimes forget about our olney handkerchief for months at a time...
anyway.
since my last update on this project (when dinosaurs roamed the earth) I have actually made some progress. today I even moved the lace up another notch - which incidentally meant it was time to free the first bit of lace from the last few of its pins! I do love unpinning. I try not to fiddle with the lace too much after it's free - must keep it clean - but... just a little won't hurt...
so cool right?
#I.... I think I'm gonna need to buy more pins... maybe#or maybe I just stick with the simple stuff :/#bobbin lace#lace making#fiber art#but this is amazing congrats!
