My top 5 of Eurovision 2025
Bur Man Laimi (Latvia) - This was truly amazing. I love the concept of the song and staging, making it seem like a group of fairies were singing to us. Tautumeitas were simply gorgeous during the grand final and despite how simplistic the performance was, it was still amazing.
Asteromata (Greece) - I was scared of the song doing bad in the final results, but i'm so glad people liked the song. It is incredibly soothing and majestic, along with Klavdia's amazing vocals and beautiful staging. It deserved to be in 6th place.
Voyage (Switzerland) - It's genuinely ridiculous how the public gave 0 points to this song. Just like the others, it's beautiful, it's soothing and it has a great message on its lyrics. Zoe's voice was also amazing and she did not disappoint with her performance. Though i can't stop thinking about that technical error during semi-final 1.
maman (France) - I'm starting to think i like songs in French. But i'm not kidding when i say this song is amazing. You can feel some of Louane's voice while she's singing and you can feel how much effort she had put into her performance. Though the concept of the sand was a bit strange, since it only reminded me of Denmark's entry last year. And it made me hope no sand got into Louane's mouth.
GAJA (Poland) - I'm pleasantly surprised by Justyna's performance. At first, during the national finals, i thought her performance was too over-the-top, but i warmed up to it and enjoyed it a lot. Her voice is amazing and i like her energy when she was dancing.
Honorable mentions: Austria, Sweden, Italy, Finland, Albania, UK, Denmark, Spain, Ireland, Belgium, Portugal, Israel, Malta and The Netherlands.
(I'm just wondering what happened to the public during the voting, honestly.)

My top 5 of Junior Eurovision 2024
Como la Lola (Spain) - I was not expecting the song to be this catchy. It's so energetic it makes you want to jump up and down nonstop. And Chloe had tons of charisma during her performance. Probably one of my favorite songs of this edition.
Esperan莽a (Portugal) - Big shocker. A portugese entry has caught my attention. The spainsh parts were a bit unexpected, but Victoria was also very charismatic during the live performance. And the stage was simply beautiful. I suppose it didn't reach first place because it sounds like a pop-ballad to me, so it's a bit too slow. But it's still a masterpiece.
Music (The Netherlands) - I adored the chorus "All we need is music in our lives". And the beats were so catchy too! It was kinda cute seeing Stay Tuned dancing, despite the performance having a simply yet charming theme. It just seemed to match with the song.
Comme ci comme 莽a (France) - It was a tough decision, but France's song was very captivating. I loved the slightly dramatic opening, where the song started slow before becoming more bubbly and cheerful. The staging was pretty simple, but Titouan's voice was very soothing, if i'm honest.
T盲navad (Estonia) - I was going to say Poland or Cyprus, but Estonia's song appealed more to me. At first, it wasn't exactly my cup of tea, but after listening to it again, i realized that it was actually really good. Annabelle's voice is great and the staging was very good. But the song doesn't surpass the others, i'll admit.
Honorable mentions: Poland, Cyprus, Ukraine, Italy, Ireland, Albania, Malta, Georgia.
(First time watching JESC and man, these kids can sing. Loved it.)

My top 5 of Eurovision 2014
Maybe (San Marino) - It may not win Eurovision so easily, but it easily conquered my heart with this song. I listened to it before watching Eurovision and this song is so beautiful! Valentina is such an icon for San Marino as well. Her voice is so pretty, the melody may be simple but beautiful, i just really love this song and wonder how things will turn out when San Marino wins Eurovision one day.
Rise Like A Phoenix (Austria) - A great winner, honestly. Took me a while to truly love it until i started repeating the build-up to the chorus. It's beautiful. Conchita is beautiful and their voice is impressive as hell. No wonder they became such an iconic winner in Eurovision. The instrumental is also really good.
Undo (Sweden) - I heard this song before and the moment i found out it was an Eurovision song really surprised me. Sanna's voice is really good and the song gets kinda catchy after a while. It's only not any higher because the others mentioned are far better than this, but the nostalgia just brings back the memories of when i loved this song.
Shine (Russia) - A great song. That's all i can say. The Tolmachevy Sisters were so creative and talented and they were only 17 around the time. The performance was great, the song is kinda catchy, it was just pure amazingness. Probably one of the best russian entries alongside the 2015 and 2021 ones.
Tick Tock (Ukraine) - Amongst the many options i had, such as Ireland, Italy or Switzerland, Ukraine takes the spot. It reminds me a lot of Shady Lady from 2008. It's not as catchy as Shady Lady, but it's not bad either. It's not exactly the best, but there was some effort put into it. Mariya had so much charisma and the performance was odd, but slightly captivating.
Honorable Mentions: Portugal, The Netherlands, Ireland, Switzerland, Italy, Belarus, Poland, Latvia, Slovenia, Finland, North Macedonia, Moldova, Denmark and Montenegro. (Not a bad edition, just really hard to rank.)

My top 5 of Eurovision 2015
Love Injected (Latvia) - I actually listened to this song before watching Eurovision 2015, so it has a soft spot in my heart. It is genuinely really good though, no wonder it ended in 6th place. Pleasant instrumental, pleasant voice, pleasant everything. I love this one.
Golden Boy (Israel) - Oh ho ho ho! I just loved how the song's instrumental changed along the music. And the beats were incredible. The live performance was really good too. Not addicting, but impressive, in a way. If i even listen to this song for one moment, i might just start dancing like a madman.
Tonight Again (Australia) - Australia's first entry and they totally killed it! Love how it sounds kinda jazzy and Guy Sebastian's vocals were amazing. Though, compared to Israel, it's not THAT catchy. Sure, i bop my head to it, but it would probably take a lot to get me to dance if i'm tired or something.
Still in Love with You (UK) - Finally. A position where they're more appreciated. My own top 5 of Eurovision 2015. For real though, i'm honestly happy that i like this song since they're not so appreciated in Eurovision. The Charleston/casino-like theme is so addictive and i could do some footwork dancing to this. It's amazing.
Warrior (Georgia) - I kinda listened to this song before, so it also has a soft spot in my heart. But after listeneing to the other songs, it unfortunately fell to 5th place. It's not bad, it sounds cool and empowering. A kinda simple concept that works for me, honestly.
Honorable mentions: Russia, Lithuania, Portugal, Cyprus, Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Malta, Moldova, Montenegro, Poland, Romania, San Marino, Switzerland. (Need to listen to it more. Also, Spotify, add the rest of the songs, please. T_T)

Character Fun Fact: Ukraine
Kolja was able to witness one of Ukraine's victories years ago. The year where an opera singer had conquered the public's heart with her beyblade skills and voice. It was one of the few times Kolja had expressed awe and euphoria, which is a rare occurrence. But he keeps this wonderful moment to himself, and constantly remembers it whenever he's feeling down or nostalgic.

Character Fun Fact: Albania
Albania's National Blading Tournament, unlike the other National Selections, doesn't have an age restriction for their participants. Which explains why Sara was able to participate in ECT without any issues, even if she is a little kid. Though she had to bring her parents not only for encouragement, but also because a little girl like her can't wander off on her own in a totally different country.

Character Fun Fact: Azerbaijan
Amin is very adventurous during his favorite season, autumn. Whenever he is not butting his head into any serious cases, Amin is exploring the nature outside of his city and taking pictures of the environment, since he claims it is "the most beautiful thing he has ever seen in his life". If there was a place Amin could go, it is the Caucasus Mountains, but it is pretty far from where he lives. He promises to go there with his family someday however. This alone is one of the few reasons why Amin really enjoys taking pictures in his free time.

Character Fun Fact: Germany
When he was a kid, Rich had a Bernese mountain dog named Erbitt, derived from the word "erbittert", which is "fierce" in german. He would mostly spend his time cuddling on Erbitt because he was fluffy and snuggly. Unfortunately, the dog died after its lifespan reached the limit. Though Rich still misses his dearest pet dog, he realized he has a soft spot for anything that's snuggly or fluffy, since it reminds him of Erbitt. But due to his image as a tough, ruthless gang leader, he hides this soft side of his from everyone except the other Anfeuern members.

Character Fun Fact: Sweden
Due to her reputation as the most powerful blader in Sweden, and possibly in the whole world, Sonja has dozens of admirers. But many of her male admirers have shown to have huge crushes on her. Even with Sonja refusing their confessions dozens of times, the fans continue to express their love for her endlessly. Sonja isn't aggressive or physical towards anyone around her, but a love confession might tick her off easily nowadays. Especially if it comes from a fan who only admires Sonja and ignores all of her other traits as a normal individual.

Character Fun Fact: San Marino
Nizar never misses a halloween event. In fact, he considers himself an icon of halloween events since he has a frightening attitude when around other people. Many would agree on that, but others find this to be quite conceited of him for thinking that way. But Nizar is also an icon for these events due to his talent for singing, which he developed in the few movies where he isn't the monster. He usually sings songs to fit the vibe of Halloween, but he also sings songs that motivate people to be themselves.

Character Fun Fact: Georgia
Mariam's mother, Fuyuka, once thought of opening a japanese-themed restaurant in Tbilisi, the capital of Georgia, in order to present a part of Japan to the country. But unfortunately, Fuyuka is not a great chef herself. Even if she was the one that taught Mariam how to cook, she was never a professional chef. But Mariam slowly learned how to make both georgian and japanese food thanks to Fuyuka's teaching and started offering help to anyone who has trouble with cooking, since she believes it's better to be a food critic than a chef.

Character Fun Fact: Italy
Ant么nio is a big fan of rock music. Most notably, hard rock. Which explains his tough appearance and demeanor. The reason behind this interest was due to an italian band winning the ECT (Europe's Champions Tournament) a couple of years ago, making Ant么nio view them as role models. However, his childhood friend, Vincenzo, is more into pop music. No specific preference, just pop music in general.

My top 5 of Eurovision 2016
1944 (Ukraine) - I actually heard this song before watching the 2016 edition, so this one has a soft spot in my heart. I sometimes think it's interesting to learn a country's history, especially through music. Jamala killed it with her outstanding vocals and marvelous music. She definitely deserved this victory.
Loin d'ici (Austria) - I guess i don't know much about Austria, since i didn't know they spoke french there. But hey, this song is adorable and i love it. I was a big sucker for the live performance too. The whole princess theme was so cute and it kinda fit with the song and its meaning. Zoe did a good job with this one.
Alter Ego (Cyprus) - Honestly, the first thing i thought when listening to this song was that it sounded like an anime opening. I don't know what i was thinking. Maybe my mind went back to the early 2010s. But it's still a good song. I personally like rock songs, so Cyprus did a good job keeping me captivated. (Another reason to travel to Cyprus.)
Blue And Red (Slovenia) - I most likely enjoyed this song because it kinda sounded like a Taylor Swift song. Heck, ManuElla even kinda looked like Taylor. But overall, her vocals were great and the song had a pretty nice melody to it. The live performance felt a bit random, especially because of...the dude with the pole. I'll just stop it here.
Ljubav Je... (Bosnia and Hezegovina) - B&H's last entry before falling under the radar. And it's honestly so good. The concept felt a bit odd at first, but it soon became something appealing to me. Dalal, Deen and Jala all had great vocals, especially during the live performance. And the song in general was amazing. Come on, B&H deserved at least a chance to go to the finals.
Honorable mentions: The Netherlands, San Marino, Bulgaria, Greece, Moldova, Belgium, UK, Germany, Switzerland, Malta, Norway and Denmark.
(At least it's not as forgettable as the 2017. Maybe just a bit.)

My top 5 of Eurovision 2017
City Lights (Belgium) - This one just sounds addicting and pretty soothing. And to be honest, when i first listened to it, i couldn't help but think it kinda sounded like it came from a sci-fi movie or something. Still, it sounds really good. The best song in the whole edition.
Amar Pelos Dois (Portugal) - Personally a deserved winner. And i kinda hope Portugal claims more victories in later editions. This one took me a while to like it, but Salvador's vocals just conquered my heart. What a man. The song overall is very soothing. I like it.
Blackbird (Finland) - Kinda surprised it didn't qualify. Maybe that's why Finland always tries to sound silly and energetic. But Blackbird is honestly so good. It may be slow, but it's really soothing. And it can be better when the whole environment is quiet. Well, i personally think that way.
Where I Am (Denmark) - This one sounds really nice. It sounds like the type of song i'd listen to. Just a generic yet kinda addicting pop song. Though Anja's vocals are pretty good too. I like it.
Running On Air (Austria) - Same thing as Denmark, but it's more soft and kinda fun. Which makes me think it's actually cute.
Honorable mentions: Moldova, Romania, Hungary, Norway, Croatia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Cyprus, Germany, Switzerland and North Macedonia.
(Forgettable edition, iconic winner. Ironic.)

My top 5 of Eurovision 2018
Oniro Mou (Greece) - May i ask how it didn't qualify? It's so mystical and powerful! I just love it! And it could be just me, but i think when songs are sung in greek, i just love them. But Yianna's voice was awesome and so was the instrumental.
O Jardim (Portugal) - Almost put this on number 1. Not like it's bad, but it's too relaxing. I understand why people dislike it and it ended in last, mostly because it's slow and nearly quiet, but you gotta admit it's at least soothing and the lyrics are touching. I could honestly listen to it all day.
When We're Old (Lithuania) - It's pretty similar to Portgual. I don't think it's inferior to Portugal though, i just couldn't put it alongside them in 2nd. And as mentioned, i am a sucker for love songs. And it's so sweet and emotional. And Ieva's voice is so calming, like a lullaby. And don't get me started on the live performance. Her expression at the end was so heart-warming.
Fuego (Cyprus) - Pretty sad it didn't win, but it's not like Israel's "Toy" was bad either. I really like how energetic and feisty it sounds too. Eleni's live performance was great and so was her singing. I don't know how popular the song got before Eurovision 2018, but there should be more edits of it. It's just THAT amazing.
La Forza (Estonia) - Torn yet again between this or North Macedonia's "Lost & Found". But this personally won for me because Elina had an amazing voice. I never thought opera could get my attention so easily. It is surprising that she sung in italian, but that's probably because it's a common language when singing opera. And that dress during her live performance... Need i say more? Honorable mentions: Israel, Austria, Moldova, Bulgaria, UK, Azerbaijan and North Macedonia. (This edition had so many good songs. WTF.)

My top 5 of Eurovision 2019
Love Is Forever (Denmark) - In short, it is sweet, innocent and truly adorable. Needless to say, the best song Denmark has sent to Eurovision so far. (In my personal opinion). It sounds childish, but it doesn't stop this song from being so cute. And the lyrics... "Don't get too political", "Love is forever and everyone". It's so infantile, but i love it so much.
Better Love (Greece) - I am a sucker for love songs, and Greece conquered my heart with this one. Great vocals, soothing instrumental and charming concept/theme. I just love everything about this song. That's all i can say about it.
Fire Of Love (Poland) - I mostly put this here because i've been listening to it way more frequently than usual. And it's not a bad thing though. You can feel the polish culture emerging from this song. Most of the Eurovision songs that have this cultural side to their home country should be more appreciated. Plus, "Pali Si臋" plays in my head every now and then. Repeating words makes them addicting.
Roi (France) - I've heard Bilal's "Flash" before and maybe that's why i like Roi so much, since his voice is so memorable and good. And the song isn't bad either. It's that typical "be who you are" song, but this one is so powerful compared to other songs i've heard before in this same style. I love it. And it's most likely because of the instrumental.
Spirit In The Sky (Norway) - I was undecided yet again. It was either this or San Marino's "Say Na Na Na". But this one sticks out the most and it's probably because i've been listening to it a lot. And you know, it's a great song. It has become quite memorable to me since i hum it every now and then. Most likely due to how upbeat and fun it sounds.
Honorable Mentions: Malta, Australia, Italy, The Netherlands, Slovenia, San Marino, North Macedonia, Romania, Montenegro, Moldova and Albania. (This edition has the best flag parade i've ever seen. I swear to God.)

My top 5 of Eurovision 2021.
Sugar (Moldova) - I can't explain it...but there's something goin' on. Sorry. But i really can't explain why this song is so addicting. It could be Natalia's voice. It could be the lyrics. Or it could be the instrumental. Or just the whole theme revolving around sweets, which reminds me of Katy Perry and i'm all here for it. Plus, some moments of her live performance are hilarious and iconic. Probably one of the best entries from Moldova.
Je me casse (Malta) - Another addicting entry. The lyrics and Destiny herself remind me so much of Lizzo. The whole song is just a bop and could've become viral around the internet. But maybe i'm asking too much. Still, great vocals, great instrumental and good lyrics.
Set Me Free (Israel) - After watching Eurovision 2021, this song was repeating in my mind over and over again. It was just THAT good. But nowadays, it's kinda weak for me. Don't hate it, just think it isn't as great as the other songs. Eden's vocals are fire though, gotta admit.
Adrenalina (San Marino) - To this day, i question why Flo Rida was featured in this song when he has no relation to San Marino. But i won't judge. It was Senhit's choice. And speaking of her, she had a good voice when singing this song. She even made some parts of the song be very addictive and now i just love it.
RUSSIAN WOMAN (Russia) - I was torn between this and Ireland's "Maps". But i guess i chose this one because rap. Manizha's singing is great though. You can tell she sang with all her heart throughout the entire song. And the woman empowerment is something else. "You're strong enough, you're gonna break a wall.".
Honorable mentions: Italy, Ukraine, Azerbaijan, Australia, Norway, Cyprus, Ireland, Romania, Latvia and Finland. (I barely listen to this edition nowadays, so the ranking was pretty difficult. Also, i think i have a soft spot for rap and hip-hop now that i think about it.)
