He takes the note, and almost immediately his eyes go wide. That was an awfully the long list– but it wasn’t the list itself that elicited that reaction, more so his son’s words. Kicked out for a month?!

“I-I gotta get this done before your mom gets back!” The note is put away in seconds, and he’s out the door– although he takes a pause once he realizes that he’s leaving Goten alone. Yeah, that wasn’t a good idea at all. If Chi-Chi came home to that she’d certainly chew him out.

“– ….. Hold on Goten, I need you to come too!”

“Okay, I’ll help!”  He rolled his arms around, stretching for the journey to gather the listed items.  “We’ll have to hurry Dad, the stores will be shut soon, and there’s a lot to carry back.”  Feet lifted from the ground, his body hovering, ready for flight.  He wasn’t too nervous, he’d seen how fast Goku could fly.  “Let’s go!”

I think it might be a good idea to leave them food if you do go milking ‘em again. But maybe not for a few days, at least until they sizzle out.”

“Uh-huh, she just left to go visit Bulma.  She said she’d be back tonight...  Oh yeah!  She told me to give you this if you came home.”  Hands rustles in his pockets, eventually pulling out a scrunched up note written in his mother’s hand.  “It’s another shopping list, she said to actually bring the stuff back this time or she’s kicking you out for a month.”
