I did not get to do much at all for @songlanweek2024 this year, but! I did contribute this to the collab @wifiwuxians organized for Song Lan Love Week/Birthday/Winter Solstice ❄

Little guy feature

i finally managed to start drawing something for @songlanweek2024 ... but then i decided i wanted that to turn into a Proper Painting that would take way longer than i had so i didn't do that after all.

luckily i also had the little drawing of this one in my sketchbook so i quickly coloured that instead. and then fell asleep before i could post it.

...anyway it may not technically be Offical Song Lan Love Week anymore but ummm... i love him. and so does xiao xingchen :)

Okay for the last day, I thought I would post a WIP (which just so happens to also be another take on Song Lan and Xiao Xingchen's first meeting - I guess I am consistent in the tropes I like!)

Thank you so much to everyone who participated this year! It's been an amazing event once again, and the love you've shown for Song Lan has been incredibly heartwarming!

At last, to tie off Song Lan Love Week... the collab! Everyone's love and birthday wishes went into this, and it really shows. I couldn't be happier with the result. Happy birthday, Song Daozhang, whenever it may be!

I encourage all participants to post their individual collaborations so everyone can see them in all their glory!

one of the lovely entries this year was the moon-touched wolf and his pup and it rekindled my love, once again, for baby yang and papa/big brother lanlan. ESPECIALLY because it turns out it's one of the author's favorites from me! how could i ever neglect this dynamic like that. i'm getting coal for christmas
