Rika was minding her own damn business.

She had been playing her lyre on the deck and had just finished a tune when... what was that sound? Was that running? Who was running what was-- OOF.

Suddenly Rika was overcome with a Xaela much larger than her body slamming her into a strange hug. The poor instrument went flying from Rika’s hands as her body toppled easily under the weight, crashing to the ground with Errol. There’s an unpleasant thud with the impact, something was definitely bruised later.

The music being played in the Quicksand was wonderful that night. It had attracted quite the crowd. Sylveret leaned against the pillar they were so well-known for hanging around, listening to the quartet perform near flawlessly.Just as they closed their eyes to focus on the sounds, they were crashed into hard, and the feel of limbs coiled about them like snakes. This was definitely not their fiancé! Stranger danger!
