So, I know I haven't been around in a while, and even when I am around, it isn't much - life has been complicated. But I did a thing. I dusted off an old WIP and finished my one and only Bones fic. It's a little long, a little tense, a little fun, and I would love it you stopped by and gave it a spin.

Seven Hours

Hello there, all. Been a while, I know. Life has been nuts. Been reading and keeping up with you all, but forever since I posted. If anyone is in the mood - just finished a story over on fanfic. Densi (of course).

Deeks sees Kensi's paperwork on the nurses' desk. Arrival Time: 3:35AM. He's confounded. He kissed that head good night exactly seven hours ago and has no idea how she got from there to here. Seven lost hours that clearly put her squarely in harm's way. Densi. PG. Set in Season 13. Cannon 'til it's not.

Coming to terms with being cursed.

Found NCIS LA Densi, but now they are going away. Watched Chicago PD for Upstead, but Halstead left the show. Watched Chicago Fire for Stellaride, but Severide is on a leave of absence. Watching the Crown, but have a bad feeling about Charles and Diana (just kidding about that one).

So this is both an apology to all of you who were harmed by my curse, and a plea- I need a new show. Be brave enough to recommend one. I beg you.

Tried to watch The Crown. Was a bit slow for me, but now I find watching it at 1.25 speed makes it way better!

Handprint on my heart

Lost my best friend today. Been a long few months praying for a miracle. Grateful for the time I had with her at the end. Been AWOL from here and distracted from a lot of things going on around me. Going to have to wake up in a world tomorrow that she isn’t in, and it makes me not want to go to bed tonight. Hug your loves, in person or virtually, as often as you can. And thank  you all for giving me a space where no one in my day to day world is to be real and anonymous at the same time.

CBS fall schedule for sunday. NCISLA got moved to the 9pm slot in the central time zone and east coast its 10pm. Wow.

Random observation- depending on the day, or even time of day, I access Tumblr on my phone, iPad, or my laptop. On each, my feed is completely different. Things I saw on one last night no longer seem to exist on another in the morning. It is so trippy.

Pardon all the likes with no real responses this evening. I felt like I was my old lurker self not interacting with anyone. 😌 I was doing an Olive & June mani and it’s been drying. All I could do was swipe down for a refresh and double tap for a like! And I still managed to mess it up! 🤦🏻‍♀️🙃

Thanks @chrisodonline, @mashmaiden, @ejzah, @chicgeekgirl89, @freaksgeeksandeeks, @kalliopekorekind, and @raccoonsmate4life for keeping me entertained during the first episode when I was having difficulty following it, and for saying all the things I wanted to say during both eps! I especially appreciated Z’s saltiness this week! Y’all are my favorites!

Also… I got teary with that scene with Densi and Pilar! Anyone else? I mean it could just be because of my lady phase…. 🤷🏻‍♀️
