This is a traveler's story and also a journalist's coming-of-age story. It is a journey of constant encounters and farewells.

The traveler said that she was restless and always shuttled back and forth between "local" and "foreign" places. She observed the lives of ordinary people on the road, witnessed major social events, experienced the local customs and practices, and also interviewed and communicated with local people. She listened to their stories and wrote down observations that are not usually recorded in regular travelogues.

「這是一個旅行者的故事，也是一個記者的成長故事，一路走來是不斷相遇與別離的過程。」

這是一個旅人的故事。

Like a magical spell, the sound and light flow by in an instant, capturing the essence of theater and the fleeting moments through photography. The book features 129 scenes, including stills from performances, rehearsals, and backstage. These photographs bear witness to the 30-year encounter between Macau's performing artists and the various settings. Each image is like a frozen moment, encapsulating the boundless emotions and vitality of the theater. Through the lens of photographer Winter Chiang, we can feel the ebb and flow of the stage.

如魔術般的聲光在瞬間流過，劇場再現流轉世情，攝影捕捉無常光景。書中收錄了129個場景，包括演出、排練和後台的定格照片。這些照片見證了澳門表演藝術工作者與場景之間30年的邂逅，每一張照片都像是一個瞬間凝固的故事，捕捉劇場中無盡的情感和生命力。透過攝影師鄭冬的鏡頭，我們可以感受到舞台的跌宕起伏。

In the darkness and light of theatre and the unexpected encounter with non-conventional theatre, the decisive moments of photographers capture the unrepeatable movements that would become the future theatre archive. Since the invention of photography in the 19th century, the relationship between performing arts and photography has become increasingly intertwined, and theatre photography has become a major field of theatre iconography. Theatre photographers capture the moments and record the live performances, and at the same time, it is impossible for them to represent those captured moments without any bias. It is the scene of performers, and it is also the scene of photographers.

The author is the artist Joein Leong, who deconstructs what we take for granted in our lives with these carefully designed tasks that provide unusual sensory experiences. They originated from “Simple Body Exercise,” a creative project she conceived during her art residency in Chongqing in 2021. “The artist simply borrows the six sense concepts of ‘eyes, ears, nose, tongue, body and mind’ in Buddhism to directly experience and establish mutual relationships through a series of behaviors in the process.

Shall We Play A Game?

Interactive Exhibition - Shall We Play A Game? 互動展覽：不如一齊玩個遊戲呀 Association Concerning Sexual Violence Against Women Dec, 2022

Perpetrators abuse the victims under the guise of games. According to research, an average of 13 years delay in seeking help from RainLily if the survivor was under the age of 18 years when being assaulted. We cannot imagine how this "game" has impacted them.

Five groups of local artists are invited to the exhibition this time. The first part "123 Dialogues Traffic Light" is inspired by the stories of the survivors. The concept of mistrust and being repeatedly used as a tool is displayed with the use of light and shadow; the second part "Who is the offender" involves the dissection and reconstruction of the stereotype of perpetrators with three-dimensional sculptures. Moreover, the interactive installation of amusement facilities also allows the visitors to think about the power relations behind sexual violence as well as the stereotypes of the perpetrators/victims of sexual violence.

劇場在城市中不是靜態，發生在現場的不只是角色流動，空間也一直對創作作出干預，不同的歷史背景和城市特質，產出不同的碰撞及交疊，無論在劇院或街道發生的現場，都和社會大眾生活和意識形態相關。

劇場不是憑空想像，是城市的過去和將來的集合。科技時代中「作者已死」，虛擬世界的一切都可以隨時死去，劇場文件數碼化，不再限於劇場發生的當下，檔案權也由主辦方交到觀者手中。本次活動透過公開徵集及展覽方式進行，關於你和劇場之間關係的 Zine （小誌）製作工作坊及成果展覽。

有別於一般傳統易讀的文件檔案（書及宣傳品等）， Zine 是最順手拈來的檔案整理方式，一種可少量製作的獨立出版物，沒有任何出版限制，從策劃、編輯、製作、印刷到裝訂都回歸到表達的訊息上中，重新思考劇場、自身和城市之間的關係。所謂「文件」，不是鎖在檔案館的藏品，那些毫不起眼的元素，用時日來整理，將記憶保存與轉化，每個人都可以策劃出屬於自己的文件展覽。

迥異於傳統文件或檔案中的高度嚴肅，小誌可以拉近觀者和創作者間的距離。有些事你想講、你想傳開去、想留下來的都可以是文件——上次看戲時留下的票根、經過廣場記起上次看過的戶外演出、隨手拿來的場刊、朋友演出時的簽名照、上個月在社交媒體不吐不快的帖文、幾句匿名網站的劇評、鐵閘後面撕走了一半的演出海報⋯⋯通通可以按自己的價值觀及喜好，用攝影、再書寫或繪畫等方法轉化、保留、整理，然後傳播、賦予意義，畢竟劇場與城市是攸關我們每一個人的事。

Searching for design files

Searching for design files: city, theatre. 搜尋設計檔：城市、劇場 Nov, 2022 MOP/HK$80, NT$320 This is my 6th zine.

平面設計和檔案之間的關係，一直愛恨交纏。在進入離散、不連續的代碼時代，創作過程往往冰冷，面對發光螢幕，設計師的日常經驗有可能無意中被缺席。由想像到完成品之間，產生難以預期的種種文件，往往如幽靈般相遇：搜尋網站提供的無限靈感混亂地放置，需長時間消化的文稿散落檔案夾、偶發對話、花時間去篩選的圖片淹沒了原始意圖⋯⋯直到完成品顯現，一切的檔案都是在等候被描寫，被丟棄，被改寫，但過程中所有材料都不是設計，通通都只是為了指涉設計。

在我曾做過以城市為題的平面設計中，劇���是其中一個最具意識形態的藝術形式，由文本到視覺需經歷層層觀念，在與設計碰撞中，除了帶來上述的文件外，設計師還需閱讀劇場以外的集體、歷史檔案、新聞或其他主觀產物。

在傾向單純觀看的世界中，平面設計以滿足於視覺炫目為目的，背後牽涉的檔案往往缺席、邊緣、孤寂。關於文件和藝術或創作間的討論，當代藝術學家葛羅伊斯（Boris Groys）提出的理論也經常被引用，他指出各種藝術文件就是指涉藝術，而藝術因為本身就定義為藝術，反而無法被指涉為藝術，「藝術不再存在與立即被看見這個狀況變得清晰，藝術是缺席與隱藏的」。亦即是文件、檔案、文獻等雖不直接呈現藝術，但令藝術顯現，藝術文獻也成為藝術其中一個藝術生命形式，某種純粹的活動與實踐填補了藝術的缺席。

我也試着重新翻閱我所做過的設計，那些關於城市的劇場平面設計中，嘗試把各種設計檔、圖檔或文檔等等都放到公共視野之中，尤其我所選輯的演出都有其城市關心的公共議題，題目本身就已經具有一定的現實性，在多種關係中把檔案公開，或者可以給人另一種新的詮釋。

「弱文本」不是要說文本的衰弱，「弱」，是指文本的領導權下放，強化表演者，以至各創作領域的選擇與創造，主動編織出自己的「演繹」，建築起共存而非服務關係，提供觀眾更具透視感的劇場審美空間。它最終導向一種美學上的選擇，另一種秩序下的創作旅程，另一類演出製作的模式。
