Attention CAP-IM Diaspora! After many weeks of planning and collab we are pleased to announce the 2025 Cap-IM Big Bang!

This cycle of the event features a bunch of procedural changes designed to better support writers and artists in pursuit of longfic, including an earlier sign-up commitment for writers, a longer creation period, and the elimination of anonymity requirements. Check out our Big Bang, Big Changes Post if you want a quick and dirty summary.

The ✨new, revised✨ complete rules and FAQ are posted here. The Schedule is thus:

JUL 16: Writer Sign-Ups OPEN  AUG 15: Writer Sign-Ups CLOSE SEP 30: 1st Draft Checkpoint (25% of draft) NOV 14: 2nd Draft Checkpoint (50% of draft); Claims Kit Due. ✨Last Drop Op for Writers ✨ NOV 22: Art Claims DEC 12: Collab Checkpoint JAN 11: 3rd Draft Checkpoint (75% of draft) FEB 14: Artist Checkpoint MAR 15: Final Draft Due (100%) APR 1+: BANG

Write-Ins and Art Hangs will happen at regular intervals; scheduling for these is TBD based on the needs of our participant group!

Steve casts around for the right word. "Cassie thing." "Okay. Where do you want me?" Steve extends his arm at a 180-degree angle up to the face of Mt. Rushmore. "Help Warbird dismantle the dispersal unit." Tony nods, turns, stumbles briefly. The gyros compensate, but Steve has seen the instability of him. "Tony," Steve says. He grabs Tony's arm, insistent. "Hey. You sure you're okay?"
