This post is gonna be about a call for us to act. If you are not ready to receive harassment, you do not have to partake. This is for people who can. Stay safe out there.

I want this post to be about being loud and proud about our identities. We are here, and we’re staying. You cannot erase us. You cannot silence us. We should fight for what we believe in. I encourage my fellow radqueers to make Youtube videos. We will not be stopped.

I think after this radqueer video drops we should welcome respectful antis. We should teach them our point of view. What turned us radqueer. Why we believe in this. I encourage people to talk about their identities. Plus maybe even what led them to believe they are that. We should take this as a teaching moment.

In my opinion, if you are to receive harassment, you should be respectful. This is to show that we are the bigger people. Keep your cool out there. What do I think being the “bigger person” looks like? A lot of things. You can sit there and turn it into a teaching moment. Of course, you do not have to do this. It could definitely fall on deaf ears. What I hope though is that it doesn’t only land on those. I’m sure it will go to people who are willing to learn. What else does being the “bigger person” look like? Walking away. You do not have to give them that attention. Another thing I would consider is turning hatred into love. Make it positive! You can do this several different ways. Black it out! Tell the anon you care about them. Fight fire with water. Be kind, guys.

This is a bit of a warning to the rq community, so tw for antis and the like. I'll keep it below the cut, but I do consider this to possibly be kinda important

There was just an upload by a youtuber by the name of "The Internet Investigator" with 189K subscribers about a consang relationship themed blog, along with briefly looking into the tag and another blog

Obviously, as antis always do, the entire thing is negative. I only really clicked on it because I was genuinely surprised that it used the term "consang" rather than "incest" like usually used by antis

The reason I bring this to the attention of the community is that they very much did mention the radqueer community in the video and mentioned possibly looking into us as well

This is obviously going to bring a lot more harassment from antis, and the youtuber DOES straight up reveal both the username of the consang account, as well as just outright showing uncensored screenshots

I feel like it might be wise to possibly keep a bit of an eye out, just in case. If they're willing to blatantly show accounts, it might be best to try and private blogs if you feel that you might not be able to take the flood of harassment that's unfortunately inevitable to come

It's annoying having to hide honestly, and I don’t wanna make it seem like we need to suddenly go underground because some anti decided to publicize things. Only do so if you feel like this might upset you. Knowing antis, it'll probably be triggering to some

I just wanna point out that calling every single paraphilic attraction a mental disorder just isn’t true. It’s like plurality. It doesn’t have to be disordered. I would claim that saying every atypical attraction is a disorder is incredibly harmful. This can lead to shame as it is so incredibly demonized. Like a commenter pointed out, this can lead to contact. Guilt and shame leads to contact with the paraphilia.

Anti-para and para-critical proshippers exist too though. And are in fact more common than pro-para proshippers

no offense but if you are a proshipper and anti-para you don’t know what at least one of those words means
