I’M SORRY THIS IS LATE AS HELL—! I wanted to get this done in time for Valentine’s Day, but it didn’t work out.

I had to put a bit of work into researching HEAVENS for this! I know little to nothing about most of the boys, since they don’t have much content. It took me a while to get some thoughts together, and even then, they’re short ^^,

(I should mention, and I need to add this to my main post, my depictions of Nagi will always be platonic)

If anyone would like my (more detailed) thoughts on the Shining Idols and hugs, just ask!

So without further ado:

Heavenly Hugs!

Eiichi:

He’s the type to not hug you in public. Gotta keep up his “evil” persona, you know?

But once you’re behind closed doors (or, at least around the other HEAVENS members), he’s very affectionate. His hugs seem like they’d be very romantic, almost like slow-dancing.

Kira:

His hugs, at first, might seem a little hesitant, as if he doesn’t actually want to do it.

But that couldn’t be further from the truth. He loves it, he’s just… Kira.

It would take a while for his hugs to gain any strength…

Nagi:

I kinda have to base my thoughts on Nagi off of vibes, so… Why do I think he’d be the type to mainly give side hugs?

Eiji:

Eiji was kind of an enigma! He’s really just portrayed like… a guy, but that seems to be intentional.

His hugs would be similar. In public, they’re completely normal. Nothing noteworthy. A squeeze, a peck on the cheek, and then he lets go so you could get back to whatever else you were doing.

When in private, however, he’d find himself holding you tightly for hours, pulling his fingers through your hair.

Maybe he’d even invite you to sit in his lap.

Van:

I could easily describe my thoughts in one word: greedy.

This man would 100% hug you out of nowhere (if he knew you’d allow it), no matter what you’re doing. He’d be likely to throw his arms around you from behind, only to spin you around to make you look at him.

After all, all he ever wants is to capture your attention.

Yamato:

Yamato was a pain to research. I knew the absolute least about him. But! I can now give an answer.

… or, two. Because I’m not sure which would actually fit. His songs don’t give me much to speculate on.

In my mind, I could see him giving either crushing bear hugs, or the gentlest embrace you’ve ever seen from a guy his height. No in between.

Shion:

Shion was surprisingly easy! I mean, we see that he’s a very clingy person right there, in the anime.

He’s the type to bring you into a hug, only to then hang off you like a koala for a while. It’s like he’d never let go!

Whenever I learn something new about Utapri from some small visual novel spoiler, it feels like finding water in the desert I swear to god.

I’m so starved for the root content, lol.

Why else would I be trying to learn Japanese JUST for this series? (emphasis on trying, grammar is alluding me)

I genuinely think learning the language to the point where I can comfortably play the VNs will be faster than waiting for any sort of official translation.

Natsuki really really likes to doodle, Ai has an uncanny ability to draw perfectly straight lines and also prefers post-its, and Reiji just changes lines as he sees fit fjashsnskjsna

I still cant get over the fact you can romance Ringo in the visual novel. But to be fair, the visual novel was an absolute gem and so smutty its almost crazy to compare to the content that comes later on.
