“So are we planning on going to my place or yours?”
“Maybe mine, I have all the sewing supplies as well as a stash of fabrics by the bolt, Mal shouldn’t mind too much as long as we give her some space.” She offered.
“Should I bring a sample of something I have been working on as well? I only have a few swatches, but it should not be difficult to obtain more with some extra effort.” Of course… explaining what said material was… definitely complicated.
Or why it would be tough to get more.

Harry grinned, nodding.
“A’ course. Thank ya fer the advice.” He snips the thread, handing her needle and the excess thread back.
“I’ll make sure ta check tha’ out sometime.” He could use the extra supplies, Jonas had lost another scarf and was complaining to anyone who would listen (only Harry) about it.
“Alright” Evie took the needle and thread back adding it back into her traveling sewing case. Not that he had finished asking what he needed to know she wasn’t sure what to say or even if they would still be talking at all.

Elena seemed to smirk slightly as she gave her familiar a squeeze like it was a really expensive stuffed animal, it’s big feline ears sort of flicked around as it seemed to be trying to hear what Evie was saying.
“To be honest, I’d rather wear this than my work uniform.” Which was true… although it did draw its share of attention, good, bad, and unwanted. Of course… any outfit that involves a short skirt and a whole lot of cleavage and exposed leg did have that sort of effect.
Evie nodded a moment still letting her mind grasp the situation entirely before looking back to the small creature.
“Well that is a bit much... maybe I can help the whole wardrobe situation if possible.” She offered

“Thank ya.” He wet the thread to make sure it would stay together, slipping it through the eye of the needle and tying it off as she’d demonstrated, humming to himself softly. He continued the stitching she’d started, keeping it as even as he could to what she’d done already.
“Like this, yeah?”
“Yes, just like that. Keep in mind different fabrics will act differently. For things like leather you’ll need a stronger and sturdier needle so it won’t rip or break. Somewhere in my old things you could actually take a few of those sewing supplies, a sewing machine and what not to make it faster.” She suggested. Evie wasn’t staying on the Isle and therefore she didn’t need it anymore, as much as she wasn’t fond of Harry, he took care of lots of other kids on the Isle, giving them a better shot then they were on their own.

“Yes really.” In other words… Hint, hint, Red and Elena are the same person with different faces. That or… the service animal of hers is actually a small fuzzy black dragon and she hides his wings under his specially made vest and not a large domestic cat or a small dog.
“Surprised?”
Evie could hardly believe it. The revelation slipping in as she actually did know the other. Not as well as she would have liked but of course they weren’t strangers what so ever.
“....Just a bit.” that was an understatement as she looked at the other’s disguise again trying to pick out other things that should have been a clue. She knew magic and such like this existed, it turned her mother into a crone to trick Snow White to eat that poisoned apple no sense and thinking it couldn’t be used in other ways.

Evie nodded a moment as she followed. Even though she trusted Mal her stomach still twisted up with nerves, her free hand moving to her hair twirling a lock of blue as she waited to see how to even start this discussion.
Evie lead Mal over to the chairs sitting in one not letting go of Mal’s hand for a second as she looked up at Ben a moment.
“We have something we like to discuss....”

“Alright… I trust you to know him well enough.” Evie spoke a moment taking the other’s hand in her own. Evie didn’t know Ben’s schedule, only what events he might need new clothes for or Mal for that matter.
“You lead the way M.”
Mal smiled at Evie as she nodded, holding onto the female’s hand. “I know we can working something out with Ben,” She said while leading her best friend to Ben’s office.
When arriving to Ben’s office, Mal lightly knocked on the door before entering with Evie. “Ben, can Evie and I talk to you for a moment?”
Looking up from his desk, Ben smiled when being greeted by both Mal and Evie at the door. The boy lit up in an instant. “Of course, please, come and sit.” He said, welcoming both the girls into his office and offering them both a chair.

“I think that should be alright?” Elena replied with a smile as she took the moment to lift something dark and fluffy off the ground… Something about it looked familiar, but the last time it was seen it was wearing one of those vests that say “service animal” on the side. This time… it looked like more of a dragon with a sleek coat of pitch black fur.
“You remember Zero don’t you? I think this should give you a good hint.”
Evie nodded a moment before she noticed the small fluffy thing. She paused her mind working before the words lingered in the air. Evie eye went wide looking at the other a moment wondering if her mind was playing tricks on her as she tilted her head a moment.
“Really?” Not a good question, not a full formed one but her mind could keep up with this right now.

“If I had a nice set of clothes that I don’t mind getting dirty as well… That would be nice?” She left out she mostly liked that sort of clothing for hiking in the woods looking for geocaches. Mostly since “treasure hunt” might be misunderstood.

“M, I’m gonna give you a bit of advice. You need to make time for yourself. If you don’t you are going to go crazy, and not in the good way. You need to take care of yourself and do something that makes you happy. Sketch while your traveling with Ben, and your grades are great I’m sure you could ease up.” Evie didn’t want to come across to harsh but she also knew Mal likely needed to be told up front.
“If you don’t make sure you’re okay first everything else will just hurt you.... and I don’t want to see that.” She spoke softly a moment.
Mal cackled, Evie really had spent too much time focused on her sewing. “E, I don’t get time to myself. When I’m not parading around on Ben’s arm with a fake smile, I’m either studying that stupid manners book, running from the press or having every student on campus asking questions.” There was a reason she had almost lost it on more than one occassion, eyes glowing dangerously green.
“And when I’m not doing all that I’m trying to get my homework and assignments done so I don’t fail. I’m barely maintaining an A-average as it is.” Face-down on the massage table Mal couldn’t see Evie’s reaction. When she’d told her about wanting to stay on the Isle she hadn’t mentioned the whole reason, and possibly why Ben had sent them on this retreat. Mal was over-worked and over-stressed and she wasn’t going to get any rest at Auradon Prep. “I just…don’t have the time to unwind or paint.”

“I can’t blame you… After all, I do seem to not show up for class despite being technically a VK and you don’t know me all that well.” It was sort of a combination of truth and lie… She was always in class, but never in her Elena guise as the identity of the Pallandian princess and the daughter of the wandering wizard was very carefully kept separate when it came to Auradon society.
“To tell you the truth, I sort of play the role of two people… Just don’t tell that to the Auradon kids. They might misunderstand.”
“I mean… if you had a serious stalker problem… would you be yourself in public?”
Evie let that revelation sink in a moment before nodding a moment. I mean she could see why it would be an issue that needed a bit of remedy if that was really the case. But it begged the question of who the other was also the other part of the time.
“.... Maybe we could do a trial date?” She offered after a moments thought looking at the other. Evie only hoped she wouldn’t regret giving the other a chance .

“It’s just not something I expected.” Evie spoke. It wasn’t outright rejection. And it had nothing to do with the fact the other was a girl as well, but more to do with the fact she didn’t know the other well at all either.
