This project develops a web application to help university students manage their finances more effectively. Addressing financial instability, the application supports academic performance and well-being with a user-friendly interface for tracking expenses, setting financial goals, and viewing engaging financial data. It includes gamification to encourage prudent financial habits.
The project utilises a Waterfall model, suited for solo execution, and employs Git for efficient development and data integrity. Risk management addresses data security and ethical concerns, adhering to GDPR standards.
Research involved analysing existing financial apps to design a solution tailored to student needs, distinguishing it from competitors. Development leveraged PHP for its robust capabilities in web and data processing.
Success was measured by user feedback and achieving predefined goals, with the project meeting its benchmarks and laying groundwork for future enhancements. This emphasizes the importance of ethical, responsive design in effective financial management tools for students.

The project is all about making language translation easy for everyone. Imagine talking in one language and instantly understanding someone speaking a different language. That's what my app does! Using cool tech like GPT3.5 Turbo , I built a smart translator that understands context and gives accurate translations in real-time. Plus, made sure it's super easy to use, even for people with disabilities making vocal recognition enabled for easier user input. You can talk or type, and it works like magic! the goal is to bring people closer together by breaking language barriers and making communication effortless for everyone, no matter where they're from or what language they speak.

This projects aim is to explore computer vision to examine the feasibility of providing live positional graphics on horse races through a computer vision model. Starting with learning, explaining and documenting machine learning and computer vision fundamentals so that both me and the reader can build a basic understanding. From there in the literature review state of the art models focused on multiple object tracking in horse racing are reviewed and explained, to understand the main challenges facing such an implementation. Finally, I implement my own object detection model using YoloV8, and a custom dataset made by myself. Given the project constraints and limitations, I was able to train a fairly accurate model, and discuss the results.

There is currently a proliferation of learning resources recommendation websites that signpost to resources such as Udemy, Coursera, LinkedIn Learning, W3Schools, that can be used to learn or upskill on a specific topic. Some of these websites also allow visitors to leave reviews and comments on their experience with these resources or recommend other resources they found helpful. There are also bookmarking systems including web browsers that allow learners to bookmark these resources for later consumption. However, there aren’t many systems that bridge these two processes into one single system. This software development project aimed to address this identified gap by providing a 2-in-1 resource recommender and bookmarking system to potentially improve the learner’s experience as they won’t have to use two different systems. This will also act as a central repository for all the reviews and bookmarks that could provide more insight into what resources learners find particularly helpful.

This project is about developing an E-commerce store for a business idea. The purpose of this project was to develop an E-commerce store which focuses on utilising critical factors which are often overlooked in E-commerce. These being, website functionality, design aspect and features. The project explores the current saturated E-commerce market, and the lack of uniqueness among many existing solutions to create a website which stands out. This project utilised the Agile methodology, specifically Kanban, to create the necessary requirements of the website and was used to design the overall design and feel of the website. My project was an attempt to showcase the ever-evolving industry of software development and specifically web development.
