Hey,I saw you SKk redraw and I quite like it, same with your Dazai and Akiko one even tho it’s a bit weird for me bit yeah those are cool but I also saw that Dazatsu art and I just wanted to make sure, isn’t Dazatsu like ped*philic since in Japan their relationship is actually illegal? Sorry if I upset you but this what people told me and I’m pretty confused on why people ship them if it’s bad

I don't even know where to start, gen. Atsushi is 18yo, and Dazai is 22yo. It's not a scary difference. We don't live in Japan, and I believe in most countries you're only a minor until 18. At least its like this in my country. If people use this argument, they're validating ships like Atsushi x Kyouka or with Kenji, which are 14yo. 🤢 And thats a scary difference. Also, Akutagawa is 20yo... so I guess SSKK can't be a thing... because Aku is an adult and Sushi is not. I truly believe people are taking this way too far. This fandom is insane. People take every shitty argument as the ultimate truth, just because it's convenient. There's a lot of 18 anime characters, and nobody cares, only this weird ass fandom. People need to get in touch with reality, to wake up. I'm ngl, I only receive this type of comment from minors, who have no idea what is a relationship. I'm not saying you need to know everything, just leave people alone. If you're not comfortable (WHICH +18 CONTENT WILL LET YOU UNCOMFORTABLE, because it's not for you), you can always leave. It's ok. Plus! Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe Japan changed its constitution and defined that from 2022 on, people over 18yo will be considered adults aswell. =w= So yeah... it's not ped*philic at all.

6th April marks the first celebration of IAD which has been organised by various groups around the world.

Happy International Asexuality Day! Today is a day for celebrating all people who identify under the asexual umbrella and spreading awareness about their experiences.

A number of ace organisations worked together to make April 6th 2021 the very first International Asexuality Day.

The themes of today are:

• Advocacy

• Celebration

• Education

• Solidarity

What is asexuality?

• Feeling little to no sexual attraction

Some asexual people also feel no romantic attraction. This is known as aromantic.

However, some asexual people do feel romantic attraction. This is broadly known as alloromantic, but can be more specific such as biromantic (romantically attracted to two or more genders but experience little/no sexual attraction).

Asexuality is a spectrum!

Here’s just a few identities within the asexual umbrella:

Demisexual - someone who does not experience sexual attraction until they have formed a deep emotional connection with someone

Grey-asexual – someone who feels sexual attraction weakly, infrequently, or in specific contexts

Aceflux – someone whose sexual orientation fluctuates but generally stays on the asexual spectrum

Lithosexual – someone who does experience sexual attraction but does not want it reciprocated. Person may be uncomfortable at the thought of someone being sexually attracted to them, or they may lose their sexual feelings if they learn it's reciprocated.

Fraysexual – when someone only experiences sexual attraction towards those that they are not deeply connected with, and lose that attraction as they get to know the person.

Why is awareness important?

• Combats acephobia

• Challenges normativity

• Helps provide support

• Feelings of connectedness and community ; feel less alone

• Dispel myths and misunderstandings

• Help normalise asexuality and other LGBTQ+ identities

• Representation ; increasing visibility

• Helps highlight the issues faced

• Celebrating people on the asexual spectrum
