i think about this quote almost every day. i love greek mythology. even before reading Tender is the Flesh i enjoyed the story of Icarus, but after it means so much more to me. this quote has become so important to me, and made the story of Icarus my favorite myth. i even hope to someday have icarus tattooed on my back so his wings can be my own, so even if i fail i will remember i tried.
