I think when everyone’s talking about favouritism and you’re clearly very close friends with the admins, you can’t call everyone else dramatic when they’ve evidently received different treatment to you? Be empathetic, do better, listen to other people’s experiences.

Even though I’ve been here for ten months now, I still consider myself a newbie around here - there have been ships that have lasted here for the amount of time that I’ve been roleplaying as a whole. And when it comes to favouritism from the admins, I thought it was favouritism of the people who have been here longer vs. the people who haven’t been here as long. Like a sort of ‘earn your stripes’ thing which upon reflection, ISN’T how it’s supposed to go. An admin should be impartial whether you’ve been here five years or five minutes. But regardless, that’s what I put it down to and I’m honestly so shocked that this is a feeling that people who have been here forever have also been having. Things such as the gossip blog bias felt kind of obvious to me, something to laugh about OOC with other people who noticed and it’s only a bit of fun anyway, but some of the other things I’ve read about have really surprised me.

I’ve had poor experiences here, honestly. and I’ve experienced first hand the favouritism when the admins wiped history I made on Taylor once because of an OOC issue between the other player and I, without even bothering to contact me before, during or after the removal or even really being told about it. They did that because they spoke to the other member, were pretty close to them actually, and not to me. And it doesn’t seem to be anything near what others have experienced here, but it’s just a small example that I can provide to back up me saying ‘I’ve had poor experiences’. Everything else I’ve experienced here that was negative has either been hearsay or they’ve been other people’s experiences that I’ve been told in confidence, and I don’t think it’s fair to state anything without the ability to prove myself.

I only have Taylor here, but I’ll be leaving as well. The knowledge that so many people have been negatively effected mentally by a situation that was supposed to be their safe place is enough on its own, and to get a simple ‘we try our best‘ isn’t good enough. I was going to wait around and see how the main handled the situation, but honestly if it’s true that some have gotten strikes for things that are trivial compared to what happened last night, then saying that you do your best is NOT enough. You don’t do your best. You do what’s convenient for you.

I regret that I never made any thanksgiving posts or anything OOC on Taylor because all of you will now never know how much you mean to me. I loved watching your stories on the dash, and you gave Taylor such wonderful plots and writing with you meant EVERYTHING to me. Even if we didn’t speak, I care about you through your writing and I’ve watched you grow over the months and I send all my love to all of you, I’m so sorry that something that some of you have been working on for years has come down to this. Your storylines and writing deserve better.
