Media Inspirations

for Laure

Harvey from Stardew Valley is a big inspiration as to Laure's final form. Particularly, Harvey in the fic The Adventures of Farm Boy & Dr. Boyfriend. Nerdy, quiet, smart, caring, and secretly daddy. Is he perfect? Absolutely not. He's mixed with a hint of depression but substitutes his loneliness with his hobbies. It's not until he's married that you learn he's quite feisty and very brave.

Lan Xichen from Mo Dao Zu Shi (particularly inspired by the fic Meng Yao vs the Homeowners Association). He's tall, gorgeous, kind, soft spoken, natural leader, the neighborhood dreamboat, and a himbo. He will cry over his tomato garden going bad, and gets off on seasonal oven mitts and Live Laugh Love artwork (especially the ones he has to DIY). He's dedicated to his love and has his own trauma that makes his quiet about voicing his own desires.

Ignis from Final Fantasy XV. He's so stuffy and sheltered and put together, no one really thinks he'd be a kick ass warrior and fiercely protective man. He'll fight for his friends no matter what his own circumstances are and he's sexy as hell while wearing glasses!

There's probably more but these are the main guys that helped inspire Laure. What's yours?
