New research: radiation from smartphones is not dangerous for people

New research: radiation from smartphones is not dangerous for people
Radiation from smartphones does not pose a danger to people. New research shows that we can use our smartphone without fear.
Smartphone radiation is not dangerous
Without thinking a lot about it, we have accepted the smartphone as an extension of ourselves. We keep the device close all day. However, people are still wary about the consequences. Especially for the effect on our health. A new study shows once again: the radiation from a smartphone is not dangerous for people.
In the study of the National Toxicology Program, part of the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences, rats have been bombarded with 2G and 3G frequencies for nine hours a day for years. In the male rats, there was a higher chance of developing tumours around the heart. However, it involves quantities of radiation that people are never exposed to. In addition, the rats that were exposed to the radiation appeared to live longer than the other rats, but that can also be a coincidence.
Too much radiation from, for example, X-rays is dangerous. This, however, is about ionizing radiation, while smartphones emit radio frequency radiation. Radiofrequency radiation is less harmful.
Various agencies and experts argue that there is no reason to assume that the radiation from smartphones causes cancer in humans. “Even with frequent daily use by the majority of adults, we have seen no increase in brain tumour events,” says Jeffrey Shuren of the US Food and Drug Administration in a statement about this research. The FDA will check the investigation.

Of course, smartphone use does offer other dangers that you must be aware of as a user. Consider, for example, the fire risk when charging at night with a fake charger. People are also worried about the addictive effect of smartphones.

Samsung Galaxy S9 vs Galaxy S8: the expected differences

Samsung Galaxy S9 vs Galaxy S8: the expected differences
Slowly but surely the unveiling of the Samsung Galaxy S9 comes closer, so it’s time to look ahead to the potential top device. What are the improvements and differences compared to the Galaxy S8?
Table of Contents
1 These are the Samsung Galaxy S9 innovations
2 1. Camera with variable diaphragm
3 2. Slightly faster hardware
4 3. Even thinner screen edges
5 4. Fingerprint scanner at another location
6 5. Android 8.0 (Oreo) with updated Samsung skin
7 Samsung S8 Vs S9: Has many similarities
These are the Samsung Galaxy S9 innovations
On Sunday, February 25, the Samsung Galaxy S9 will be officially unveiled. It will be one of the most important Android phones of 2018 and the device that Samsung will use in the coming year. Expectations are high, but that is why it is good to adjust them a bit.
The Galaxy S9 probably builds on its predecessor and does not introduce earth-shaking innovations. It is more of an intermediate model, just like the Galaxy S7 that was after the Galaxy S6. Yet the S9 is naturally improved on a number of fronts. That is why we take the most important expected differences in relation to the Galaxy S8 with you.
1. Camera with variable diaphragm
If there is one area where Samsung promises much improvement, then it is the camera. According to the latest rumours, it has a variable aperture. That means that depending on how much light there is, the camera adapts to the situation. In the dark, the camera has a diaphragm of f/1.5, with a lot of light the Galaxy S9 switches to f/2.4. In this way, the device always manages to catch enough light for a sharp photo.
Also new is that the S9 can film in super slow motion. This may happen in 1000 frames per second so that even the smallest details are recorded properly. With the Galaxy S8, it is already possible to film in slow motion, but this happens with fewer images (240) per second. Furthermore, the larger Galaxy S9 Plus is expected to have a dual camera, with which the phone provides photos with a bokeh effect. This blurs the background, making the foreground look more striking.
Have you just purchased a Galaxy S8 (Plus)? then you do not necessarily have to worry. That device still has one of the best smartphone cameras ever, so your old camera is not suddenly outdated.
2. Slightly faster hardware
Not surprisingly, the Galaxy S9 is also a bit faster. According to the latest rumours, it is powered by the Exynos 9810 chip, assisted by 4GB of memory and 64GB of storage space. That makes for a slightly better performance, but we do not expect any major differences compared to the Galaxy S8. For the S9 Plus, Samsung would pull out 6GB of memory.
The chip of the Galaxy S9 mainly provides better (and faster) facial recognition, photo and video stabilization and is probably slightly more energy efficient. How much you notice in practice, is still waiting.
3. Even thinner screen edges
With the Galaxy S8, Samsung also introduced the so-called ‘infinity display’, which fills almost the entire front. The Galaxy S9 presumably retains this design, but the edges at the top and bottom become slightly narrower. As a result, almost the entire housing is used for the screen, and that still looks nice.
The screen format does not change. The ‘normal’ Galaxy S9 has a 5.8-inch screen, the Galaxy S9 does it with 6.2 inches. Also, the resolution of 2960 by 1080 pixels remains the same, enough for a pretty sharp image. Samsung probably offers the option to slightly reduce the resolution, which is favourable for the battery life and performance of the device.
4. Fingerprint scanner at another location
Another place for the fingerprint scanner does not sound so exciting but is secretly an important difference of the S9 compared to its predecessor. With the Galaxy S8, the fingerprint scanner is next to the camera. That is a rather illogical place because you continuously sweep over the camera lens to scan your finger. Moreover, the scanner is difficult to find.
With the Samsung Galaxy S9, the fingerprint scanner is happily under the camera, which is a much finer place. The Galaxy A8 (2018) also has the scanner on this spot, and it is therefore only logical that Samsung also applies this to its top devices.
5. Android 8.0 (Oreo) with updated Samsung skin
While users of the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus are still waiting for an Android 8.0 (Oreo) update, the Galaxy S9 will default to the latest version. It brings various new functions, such as notification channels, a picture-in-picture mode for watching a video, Google Play Protect and faster start-up times. Samsung also makes some adjustments to its own interface. Sources promise ‘striking innovations’, but it is not yet clear what exactly is changing.
Samsung S8 Vs S9: Has many similarities
Furthermore, many things remain the same. For example, the Galaxy S9 has largely the same design of glass, with a standard headphone connection and the Bixby button on the left. The battery capacity of the normal model and the Plus also remains 3,000mAh and 3,500 mAh respectively. Wireless and fast charging remain possible; according to sources, Samsung has failed to make charging faster in the new models.
Samsung presents the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9 Plus on February 25, a day before the Mobile World Congress starts in Barcelona. Subsequently, both smartphones will probably be on sale from 16 March, with suggested retail prices of about 800 and 900 euros respectively.
What are your expectations for this upcoming device?

They steal more than 400 million dollars from the NEM cryptocurrency
New Post has been published on https://dailytechhub.com/steal-more-than-400-million-dollars-nem-cryptocurrency/
They steal more than 400 million dollars from the NEM cryptocurrency
In the last hours, there has been one of the biggest robberies of cryptocurrency with the confirmation that CoinCheck has vanished more than 400 million dollars in NEM cryptocurrency, the token of New Economic Movement.
The market for cryptocurrencies remains in jeopardy after the massive fall of Bitcoin in recent weeks and now covered by the theft of more than 420 million dollars of NEM cryptocurrency, the tenth highest value and volume in the world.
Although it is not as important as the Bitcoin or Ethereum may be, it does have an important weight in Japan, a country with a wide movement in the cryptocurrency market and which has just suffered a serious setback.
Coincheck, the second most important exchange house in Japan, has been the one that has suffered the theft of NEM after being stolen from its hot portfolio by a group of cybercriminals, unknown to date.
In general, most exchange houses have cold wallets, that is, those that are out of the network, making their theft very difficult. Interestingly, the Coincheck house explains that ” it was difficult for them to manage a cold wallet for NEM “, so they chose to keep huge amounts in their hot wallet (the one online), thus attracting the attention of the hackers.
Bitcoin at $ 10,000, what do economists think of it?
The first consequence of the theft of the NEM cryptocurrency is the suspension of all operations in Coincheck on purchase-sale, deposit and withdrawal in NEM and other cryptocurrencies, although not Bitcoin. Nor can we rule out a loss of Bitcoin value in the coming hours as a result of this theft. With this event, the value of the NEM cryptocurrency in the market has been reduced initially by 11%.
The robbery has already been reported to the Financial Services Agency of Japan pending further investigation but, as in most cases, it will be difficult to recover that loss. This theft is reminiscent of the one suffered by the Japanese money exchange house Mt Gox, where it had to declare bankruptcy after losing 850,000 bitcoin, about 350 million dollars at that time.

This is how WhatsApp Business is changing the popular messaging app
New Post has been published on https://dailytechhub.com/whatsapp-business-changing-messaging-app/
This is how WhatsApp Business is changing the popular messaging app
WhatsApp Business is now available in a select group of countries. The app for companies may mean big changes for your favourite messaging service.
WhatsApp Business is ready for the general public, the developer announced last night. After several beta tests at the end of last year, the app is now available in the Play Store in five countries: the United States, the United Kingdom, Mexico, Italy and Indonesia. In Nigeria, you cannot download the app yet, but WhatsApp says it will add more countries in the coming weeks.
With WhatsApp Business the messaging service finally reaches business users. Many companies already use the app, but that requires a lot of hassle. Because WhatsApp is mainly dedicated to the personal use, you can not just put an account on multiple smartphones at the same time. Even for sole proprietors who have both a private and a business number, it is not ideal.
What is changing for companies?
Companies will soon be able to share and distribute their accounts across multiple employees. Automatic responses can also be set, such as messages when the company is closed, or answers to frequently asked questions. This makes it much easier to use WhatsApp as an alternative to traditional customer service. Companies also get statistics about the average response time and how many messages have been read.

WhatsApp will Stop Working on These Phones in December
Moreover, companies get their own customized profiles. If you open such a profile, you will see the opening times, the address and a brief description of the company. Larger companies are also verified, so you are sure that you are not dealing with a fake account.
What is changing for ordinary users?
Companies such as KLM have already indicated that they will soon be using WhatsApp Business. If you have a question about your flight, you can reach KLM directly via WhatsApp. With automatic questions and answers, you have a quicker reaction, or it is easier for employees to find an answer for you.
There is also a clearer distinction between ordinary accounts and business accounts. As a result, WhatsApp is no longer just a service for private messages, but also suitable for discussions with all kinds of companies. From one-man business to multinational: in theory, you can all reach them via the same app.
WhatsApp Business download available
For the time being, WhatsApp Business is free, but in the future companies will have to pay for their use. Exactly what the costs are, is still unknown. You can find the app via the link below in the Play Store, although it is not yet available in Nigeria.

Alcatel 3C unveiled: smartphone with big screen, small price
New Post has been published on https://dailytechhub.com/alcatel-3c-unveiled-smartphone-big-screen-low-price/
Alcatel 3C unveiled: smartphone with big screen, small price
Alcatel expands its budget range with a new entry model. The Alcatel 3C has a large screen with narrow edges and costs just over 100 euros.
Alcatel 3C officially unveiled
Alcatel has been working for years as a manufacturer of good, cheap Android smartphones. The Chinese manufacturer is virtually no smartphones that cost more than 250 euros but often provides his devices with striking features. Similarly, the Alcatel 3C, which is available in Europe from the end of this month.
The Alcatel 3C has a suggested retail price of 129 euros, making it one of the cheapest Android smartphones of the moment. However, the device has a hefty 6-inch screen. It is not completely filling front, but the company has managed to keep the edges relatively small. In addition, the screen has an HD resolution of 1440 by 720 pixels. A fingerprint scanner can also be found on the back. Thus the 3C has by far the largest and sharpest screen in this price range. Competitors like the Moto E4 and Nokia 3 have smaller screens with often lower resolutions.
Unfortunately, the other hardware is slightly less impressive. The device is powered by an MT8321 chipset from MediaTek. It consists of four cores, each clocked at 1.3 GHz. Combined with only 1GB of memory, all of this is on the right side. Take account of faltering apps. There is 16GB of storage space available and a relatively large battery with a capacity of 3000 mAh.
Alcatel 3C: Outdated software
Behind is an 8-megapixel camera with LED flash, in front, you can find a 5-megapixel camera for selfies. The Alcatel 3C is still running on Android 7.0 (Nougat). Because Alcatel almost never releases updates for its smartphones, it means you’re stuck with a more than one and a half-year-old version of Android. As a result, you are not protected against any vulnerabilities in the software.
The 3C is officially the first new smartphone from Alcatel for 2018, but more is coming. The company recently announced that it would present several new devices at the end of February. So it already shared some details about the Alcatel 1X, a budget tool of less than 100 euros. Also, a more expensive Alcatel 5 would be in development.
What do you think about this smartphone and its attached price?

This way you prevent Instagram from showing when you were online
New Post has been published on https://dailytechhub.com/prevent-instagram-showing-online-status/
This way you prevent Instagram from showing when you were online
With the latest version of Instagram, you can see immediately when your friends were online for the last time. The function is automatically switched on for everyone, but it is luckily switched off.
Turn off Instagram activity status: that’s how you do that
If you open the message window of Instagram, you will immediately see when all your contacts were last online. Instagram has silently added the activity status to the app and automatically activated it for everyone. You can see immediately which contacts the app has recently used, and vice versa they also see that about you.
The status is automatically shown to everyone you follow or have sent a message. So it is not a requirement that the person follows you back. With that Instagram makes it very easy for possible stalkers and other obsessive people to see if you are active. Especially the fact that this option is automatically enabled will not fall in favour of all users.
Fortunately, you can also switch it off relatively easily. To do this, follow the steps below. Note: if you set your own activity status, you can not see the status of others.
On the Instagram home screen, press the icon at the bottom right to open your profile;
Then press the three dots at the top right of the screen to open the options;
Scroll a good deal down. Under the heading ‘settings’ you will also find an option for ‘View activity status’. You turn this off.

Instagram follows in the footsteps of WhatsApp, which has been showing the last activity of your contacts for quite some time. You can also switch off this last-seen status. Nonetheless, it is remarkable that Instagram activates the option unannounced for all its users. Both popular apps have been part of Facebook for a number of years.

6 Applications to Block Calls and Avoid Harassment
New Post has been published on https://dailytechhub.com/6-applications-block-calls-avoid-harassment/
6 Applications to Block Calls and Avoid Harassment
Surely more than once you have received a call from an unknown number, or call you from a company to sell the offer of the century or an insistent ex-partner you have left and calls you ten times a day to be together again. If you want to get rid of all these unwanted calls, do not miss the apps that we are going to recommend next.
Table of Contents
1 1. Call Control – Call Blocker
2 2. Mr Number – Block calls & spam
3 3. Calls Blacklist
4 4. Truecaller
5 5. Call Blocker
6 6. Black List
1. Call Control – Call Blocker
One of the best-blocked call blocking apps in the Google Play Store. Call Control is a simple application, but with great potential. What differentiates it from the rest is that it is based on the community, that is, users actively participate in identifying spam. This creates what is called ‘black community’ where there is room for thousands of automatically blocked spam calls.
When you open the application you will find a menu with different options, among them, ‘Community’, where we can check which phones have been reported as spam. Also, if we have doubts about a phone number, just enter it in the search bar and it will tell us if it is already in the database as spam.
Download Call Control – Call Blocker here
Another option I find very useful is ‘Do not disturb’, where we can also configure in a very easy and intuitive way those hours in which we do not want to receive any calls or only calls from our list of favourites.
2. Mr Number – Block calls & spam
With Mr Number, we will be able to easily block both unwanted calls and those that appear without identification. In addition, we can also block SMS. Upon entering the application, we access a list where the last calls and text messages received are displayed. Clicking on one of these numbers we access directly to the blocking screen where you only have to click on the prohibited signal.
We can create a block list by adding a number from our contact list or recent calls, or we can also block the numbers that start in a certain way. The application has a simple interface and is very easy to use.
Download Mr Number – Block Calls & Spam here
3. Calls Blacklist
This application is visually pleasing, simple, and adapted to Material Design so you can block those heavy ones while you enjoy your eyes a little. The use of this application is very intuitive, you will not need an engineering manual to learn how to use it. When you receive a call that you do not want, you only have to go to the application, click on the “+” button and choose if you want to block the number of a contact, of someone who has called you or enter the number by hand.
Just run the app you will see the blacklist of those numbers that you have blocked, while if you click on ‘Register’, you will see when those numbers have called you. Every time a blocked number calls you, the other appears as busy and you get an SMS telling you that he has called you. In the settings section, you can also configure a whitelist for those numbers you do not want to block or access the call section to block private and unknown numbers, or the SMS and do the same with messages. Knowing this application thoroughly will not take you more than 5 minutes.
Download Calls Blacklist here
4. Truecaller
If the previous app had some visual beauty, in my opinion, this is even more pleasant if possible. Truecaller is equally simple to use. As soon as you access the application, you will be able to see the call log as it appears in your smartphone’s own registry. In this section, you can find the desired number (whether or not a contact) to edit or block it. To access the settings section, you must click on the icon in the upper left corner to configure the different parameters to your liking.
At the bottom of the history, there are three icons. The one on the left, ‘Discover’, makes some suggestion over time (at the beginning it will not give you any); in the center, which is where you are, you can find the phone number to block it; and the one on the right will have the section where you can block, for example, the most common spammers (the typical calls from telephone companies and many others who call you right when you’re eating). It also allows you to block hidden numbers and calls that are on your blacklist. Truecaller is quite configurable and visually pleasing.

Android 7.0 Nougat, Review: We Tested the Best Version to Date
5. Call Blocker
If you are looking for a simple app to block phone numbers, this one takes the cake and, like the previous ones, has a nice overall design. The first section you will see is the list of blocked calls, if you slide to the right you will see the blocked SMS and, further to the right, you have the numbers of your black and white list.
The adjustment section is quite brief. In ‘Values’ you will see all the settings you want to configure. The rest of the sections will not be used practically. Unfortunately, there is a lot of advertising under the sections, but they are ads that are there and are not emerging, at least. By the way, they are only in ‘Settings’, so out of there, you will not see an ad.
Download Call Blocker Here
6. Black List
A very clear name for an equally simple application. In the main screen, you will find the controls on the kind of numbers you want to block (blacklist, everything except the exception list, all and not block any). In this section, you can go to the section of blocked numbers, where you can decide how to block calls and, if you click on the ‘More’ symbol in the upper right, add the numbers you want to block. Here you can also configure the exception numbers (whitelist) so as not to block them by accident.
The settings section has the typical options that you will find in any of the other apps, but here you find a security option, which allows you to hide the icon of the application or configure a password to enter it. This way you will be safe from the typical gossip or the jealous couple.
Download Black List Here
Here we have left you a few apps that will help you get rid of that harassment of acquaintances that do not stop bothering you, or telemarketing calls. Do you use any of these applications? Do you want to share with us what do you use?

The Moviphone is an Android device with a built-in projector. At the top is a 50-lumen laser that can project an image with a resolution of 720p. The device projects at a maximum distance of 2.5 meters. In terms of brightness, the Moviphone naturally does not reach serious projectors, which often offer 2000 lumens or more. Except for the beamer, the Moviphone has good, but not great hardware. The device has a 5.5-inch screen with a resolution of 1920 by 1080 pixels. On the back is a 16-megapixel camera, in front of an 8-megapixel camera. The MediaTek MT6750 chipset that the company uses is often in midrange smartphones. However, the device has a large battery of 4000 mAh and a spacious 128 GB storage space. The device is quite thick by the beamer: preferably 11 millimetres. Moviphone: Where to buy one? The device was developed by Wireless Mobi Solution, which the device presented this week at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas. It is the first smartphone of the otherwise unknown manufacturer. The Moviphone is sold through the company’s website. For that, you pay 599 dollars (which is about 500 euros) plus a few more dollars. The device is only available in six weeks. In the same price range, you will also find devices such as the Samsung Galaxy S8, OnePlus 5T and Sony Xperia XZ1 Compact. These are provided with better hardware and packaged in a more beautiful design. The Moviphone should therefore mainly have its built-in projector. It is the only smartphone with a beamer. In a distant past, Samsung also released a smartphone with a built-in projector, the Galaxy Beam. That device from 2012, however, was not a great success. This was largely due to the moderate projector with a light intensity of only 15 lumens. The Moviphone has an edge in that area.

Smart Reminder app for Android with Remindee

The Infinix Zero 5 is definitely the most stylish and powerful mid-range smartphone I have ever seen. However that’s not all, in all-purpose, it has everything necessary to cap itself as the best smartphone in the market. You might wish to know the process of selecting best cell phone here. This Infinix phone similar to the Tecno Phantom 8, offers an excellent performance; extremely good dual cameras; an extended battery life; MicroSD card slot and the new Type-C port. However, this phone lack wireless charging and water resistance as found in Galaxy S8 and Honor 9. These features have been employed by various company such Samsung, OnePlus, Gionee among others. In addition, this smartphone does not have the trending face recognition technology and iris scanner as an option to the fingerprint scanner. infinixmobility.com The fingerprint reader impairs the experience because it is located in a place not viable. It requires you to stretch your finger in order to touch the scanner sensor. This might be difficult because of the size of the phone being 6-inch. Generally, the Infinix Zero 5 is a perfect cell phone that could be a multi-purpose device, but its fingerprint reader drastically impacts its daily use and is such a vital component that even smartphone that cost less than $200 can provide with better unlocking experience. The Infinix Zero 5 (along with the Infinix Zero 5 Pro) is Infinix’s best smartphone. In addition, is an absolute cell phone than the LG G6, HTC U11, Sony Xperia XZ Premium and One Plus 5. The put together features, performance and functions make it the complete smartphone today and one of the best you can get for yourself. Infinix Zero 5: Features and Specifications Display: 5.98 inches Resolution: 1920 x 1080 pixels HDR Compatibility: Yes Processor: 2.6GHz Octa-Core with the new manufacturing process of 16nm RAM: 6GB Storage: 64GB MicroSD slot: Yes, up to 2TB Battery: 4,350mAh Rear camera: Dual Camera of 12MP and 13MP with f/2.0 wide-angle aperture and 2.6x Telephone aperture. Front camera: 16-megapixels with 4in 1selfie Cam LED. Operating system: Android Nougat Connectivity: Bluetooth 4.2, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, NFC, LTE Cat. 16 Water resistant: No Iris Reader: No Wireless Charge: No Quick Charge: Xcharge with 18w Hearing Aids Included: Yes; Optimized by Yamaha, Other features: USB Type-C, noise cancellation headphone, Sponge earmuff. Size: 9×68.1×8.0mm Weight: 155 grams The Infinix Zero 5 has a sophisticated and elegant cutting edge and a balanced design that makes it feel great in your hand. Price and availability The Infinix Zero 5 will be on sale from November 25 in Bordeaux Red, Sandstone Black, Champagne Gold and Bronze Gold Black. However, these colours may vary by market but this phone would be presented in Nigeria on 18th of November, 2017 by Jumia in Victoria Island. Price of the Infinix Zero 5 Infinix zero 5 is valued at $310 in which the corresponding value in naira would be around N120,000. Though the phone is not yet listed on any Nigerian online shopping site, you search through the links below: Jumia Nigeria: Check out the price here – Get it now Jumia Ghana: Kindly check your offer here – Get it now Jumia Egypt: Egyptians can check offer here as well – See Offer Jumia Kenya: I have created an amazing for my fans in Kenya as well – See Offer Konga: Check out the price here – Get it now Yudala: Check out the price here – Get it now The most Stylish and Powerful Smartphone Comparison of the design of the Infinix Zero 5 with others [table id=9 responsive=scroll /] If you felt that the LG G6 had no bezels or edges, the Infinix Zero 5 (just like the Zero 5 Pro) will astonish you. The top and bottom bezels are even smaller and their curved screen (which also has curved corners) makes it look impressive. The smooth screen is optimized for a sleek touching experience and designed with anti-scratch abilities that make your phone’s screen always appear new. It also gets better with screen surface tension that reaches some 700 Mpa and has strong collision resistance capacity. With a diamond cutting edge and 28 points CCD detect technology; the Infinix Zero 5 is crafted with a smooth design and elegant metal texture. The 3.28 mm side length reflects our pursuit of exquisite artistry while the Bordeaux red reflects its passion for improvement. The back of this cell phone is an elegant metal body with a metal frame, but this time, Infinix apply the symmetrical design just introduced in this Zero 5 to allow the back look nice while holding it in your hand. At the bottom, the cell phone comes with Type-C USB port, a 3.5mm headphone jack and speaker. On the right edge are the physical button to turn it on and couple with the volume button and the SIM card slots. infinixmobility.com At the back, we see the dual camera with Optical zoom effects which contains 12MP wide angle and 13MP telephoto lens for better selfies experience. The Infinix Zero 5 come with redefined cameras that embed sharp 5.98 inches FHD display and 1920 x 1080 pixels designed to consume less battery. This has values of 85% NTSC and 500 nit brightness features which enable you to capture every moment that matter in your life in a stunning way. infinixmobility.com Even though this does not sound so bad, if Smartphones like the LG G6 and Google Pixel could fix their fingerprint reader on the back, the problem here is that, the Infinix Zero 5 fingerprint reader is located at the centre in the back of the phone which might require you to stretch your finger before touching it (for those with short finger considering its size). Unlock Zero 5: Your Weak Point The fingerprint reader of the Infinix Zero 5 makes it really hard to unlock the cell phone for those with a short finger. Eventually, you will get familiar with this little problem, but it shouldn’t discourage you from buying this phone. infinixmobility.com Unfortunately, there is no any alternative security of locking your smartphone except the pattern and the stylish smartphone does not come with iris reader or facial recognition based on their presentation on 14th of November, 2017 by their product director Vance Zuo in Dubai. Of course, the Zero 5 still offers the capacity to unlock it using a pattern on the screen and a PIN or password, but these methods are much less convenient than what a conventional fingerprint reader offers. Android Nougat, Optical Zoom, Sponge Earmuffs and more Software Comparison: Infinix Zero 5 Vs. LG G6, OnePlus 5, HTC U11 and iPhone 7 Plus [table id=8 responsive=scroll /] The Infinix Zero 5 runs Android Nougat with the company’s new custom interface “XOS 3”. Generally, the new custom interface is very similar to what we saw on Infinix Note pro, but this latest upgrade comes with more functions. This implies that the interface gives main concern to the white background of the settings and notifications. By default, the Infinix Zero 5 is configured with an FHD + resolution (1,920 x 1,080 pixels). However, the fingerprint reader can be configured to detect your gestures, allowing you to open or close the notifications panel if you slide from the top down or vice versa. Infinix XOS 3: The Interface with More Security in Mind XOS will personalize your mobile experience while also decreasing power consumption as found in Note 4 and Note 4 pro. But this time around, Infinix introduced the upgrade version which is XOS 3. infinixmobility.com XOS 3 has the following features in additional to XOS 2.0 offered in Infinix note 4 and Note 4 pro. Power: This provides significant features of extending the battery life of your phone. Multi-Window: This provides you multi-window usage at a time. That is, you will enjoy the easy of chatting while watching videos at a time. Super-Screenshot: This makes your screen capturing experience more joyful than ever before. Anti-Theft: The security is much more important this day, and that have prompt Infinix Mobility Limited to include this features. This Anti-theft feature helps you to protect your phone from all angles without extra efforts. Find Your Phone: Did you lost a phone or it was stolen? This features will help you to find the locations of where your phone is at any point in time. Performance of Zero 5: The Bone of Contention Zero 5 vs. Phantom 8 vs. LG G6 vs. OnePlus 5 vs. HTC U11 vs. Zero 5 [table id=7 responsive=scroll /] The Infinix Zero 5 brings the 2.6GHz eight-core processors with Helio P25 that integrate the new 16nm manufacturing process that promises great benefits. The Infinix Zero 5 was embedded with 6GB of RAM with DDR4X which ensure fluidity experience in all ramifications. The combination of high efficiency in Infinix Zero 5 with incredible experience provides you with an endless possibility. The 6GB RAM on DDR4 X ensures you real super efficiency with zero time-lag, when multi-tasking or using your various Apps from WhatsApp, Snapchat, Youtube, Facebook, Twitter etc couple with the X-charge for unlimited capacity guarantee success. infinixmobility.com In our day to day usage, this Infinix smartphone is very fluid, even when you have many apps running at the same time. Navigating the screens and menus and opening apps are something that is achieved without problems; the same when you use it to play video games like FIFA Mobile and NBA Live. That said, it seems to me that Infinix Zero 5 could reduce the duration of some animations a bit to offer more fluid experience. Battery life: Very good and no bursts – so far Comparison: Battery life [table id=6 responsive=scroll /] The Infinix Zero 5 has a battery of 4,350mAh, just a little bit higher to its predecessor Note 4 had. By and large, the battery of the Infinix Zero 5 will manage to last for two (2) days under heavy usage. As for fast charging technology, the Infinix Zero 5 integrates Xchange with 18w for its charging ability, a technology with a superiority of improving battery life. Super Selfie Cameras Cameras: Zero 5 Vs. Competition [table id=5 responsive=scroll /] infinixmobility.com The Infinix Zero 5 integrates a dual back camera of 12-megapixel and 13-megapixel with 2x optical and 10x digital zoom which allows you bring a far object very near to you. The excellent dual camera has a multi-lens camera which allows you to take awesome pictures at any period of time. The 6p + 5P lens with f/2.0 wide-angle aperture and f/2.6 telephone aperture will boost your snapshot. infinixmobility.com The portrait master mode of Infinix Zero 5 was designed for taking superior quality images even in portrait mode with better focus and zoom ability to create a masterpiece out of every snapshot. infinixmobility.com The multi-frame noise reduction technology is to ensure perfect shots even when taking pictures at night. The RGBW sensor is designed to auto-detects environment temperature to create a natural ambience for your photos. infinixmobility.com Differences between the Infinix Zero 5 and Infinix Zero 5 Plus RAM: 64GB vs. 128GB Will be cheaper The Most Important of the Infinix Zero 5 It has a beautiful metal body. It has bezels/curved display. Its Corning Gorilla glass design ensures smooth screen which is optimized for a sleek touching It has no capacitive or physical buttons on the front, but virtual buttons (created with software on the screen). It has a fingerprint reader on its back. No iris scanner and facial recognition as an alternative to unlocking it. Its 2.6GHz with16nm and Helio P25 (tested in this analysis) are very powerful and fast. The Sponge Earmuffs (Yamaha digital Solutions) that come included deliver a good sound quality with noise cancellation technology. It has 64GB of base storage while Zero 5 has 128GB. It runs Android Nougat with XOS 3 as a custom interface. It has a microSD card slot. It has 6GB RAM with DDR4 X. Not water resistant. The front camera has 16MP with 4 in 1 selfie Cam and flash and RGBW sensor. The front and rear camera 2.6x telephone aperture. It has Bluetooth 4.2: with better connection speed. It has a moderate battery capacity of 4,350mAh. It has 3.5mm headphone jack. Conclusion The Infinix Zero 5 is without a doubt one of the best smartphones in the market today but missed the chance to be a perfect cell phone. It is true that it is the most stylish and powerful cell phone I have seen and its performance is excellent, but it has no facial recognition and iris scanner which are the perfect alternative to the fingerprint scanner. Comparison: Zero 5 Vs. Samsung Galaxy S8 Vs. LG G6 Vs. OnePlus 5 vs. HTC U11 [table id=4 responsive=scroll /]

In a market as competitive and homogeneous as Chinese mobile phones or import, manufacturers must differentiate themselves from the rest by offering differentiated products so that the public identifies them unequivocally. That has been the case of the Doogee BL12000, a phone that has officially gone on sale today but that could be booked for a few days, and that already has to its credit the recognition of being one of the Android phones with the greatest battery capacity. Smartphones equipped with a large capacity of a battery are becoming more frequent, but in this case, they have compacted and assembled a 12,000 mAh battery in the body of a smartphone of small dimensions. [table id=23 responsive=scroll /] Doogee BL12000: A Great Battery Undoubtedly one of the most representative features of the Doogee BL12000 is its battery whose capacity, in fact, gives its name to the model. Its enormous capacity of 12,000 mAh responds to the combined use of two 6,000 mAh batteries. But the capacity is not everything for an Android smartphone, in Doogee have accompanied this great battery with various optimizations in the software of the smartphone, which allows, according to the manufacturer, to take better advantage of each milliamp of energy of that battery staying up to 42 days waiting or being able to make phone calls for more than 90 hours. [content-egg module=Amazon template=grid] These optimizations in energy consumption are especially important for those users who need a great autonomy to not run out of battery during large trips or playing games for hours to entertain while traveling on public transport, something they can do comfortably thanks to their processor of eight cores and the screen without frames 18:9 of 6-inches. By having such a large battery, the charging process could become too long to get a good user experience. For this reason, the Doogee BL12000 integrates a fast charging system in which a charger capable of providing 12V and 3A power is used to speed up this process. Doogee BL12000: Double camera, the new standard The double camera has become almost a standard over the past year, so Doogee has also found its differentiating factor in this field by adding a camera with a 130° wide-angle lens on its front dual camera. This allows the Doogee BL12000 to perform group selfies more comfortably so that no one is out of the blue. This optical set is formed by the combination of a sensor of 16-megapixels and an auxiliary of 13-megapixels that allow you to obtain photos with Bokeh effect for your portraits. The security of your data has become a priority issue for manufacturers and biometric unlocking systems are positioned as the safest and easiest to use. For this reason, Doogee has developed its own 3D facial recognition system that, according to the brand, allows you to unlock the terminal in less than 1 second just by looking at it. The Doogee BL12000 is now on sale officially and you can get it at the best price by benefiting from its launch offer between January 8 and 15 for only $ 179.99. What do you think of Doogee BL12000?

We are already at the end of 2017 and we want to remember these moments with you: evolution, money, anniversaries, nostalgia … We are going to travel in time! The Nokia 3310 returns through the front door Many of you already know the famous Nokia 3310, even if only by its name, since it was a great legend among mobile phones. A few years after the appearance of the first 3310, the technological advance made it fall into disuse, giving it its status as an ancient relic. Last year, however, has returned to put in the spotlight because Nokia, through its buyer, HMD, has decided to launch a new model of this device renewed. The truth is that the Nokia 3310 has nothing special (or even have WiFi), but HMD has decided to play the letter of Nokia nostalgia to attract attention to their new products. In his first year, he has not excelled as he would have liked, but this year should be better. Android Oreo is born Each year is marked by a new version of Android. Google has played with associating the name of a candy with a letter to create the name of its versions. In this way, the “M” was called Android Marshmallow, the “N” for Android Nougat, etc. Last year, there has been no presentation of this new version, before the astonished eyes of the viewers, but only the name was unveiled: Android O was renamed Android Oreo. Obviously, this new version has only added a layer to the problem of Android fragmentation: at this moment there are as many users with Android Oreo as with Android Ice Cream Sandwich. We hope that the manufacturers help Google to solve this problem with the help of Android Go, but it seems difficult that this will happen. iPhone celebrates its tenth anniversary iPhone has matured. It has been 10 years and now he is a little man who (finally) cares about fashion and trends, and has decided to adopt a screen without borders, facial recognition and has decided to innovate and abandon the Start button. The most cynical mock: “They have had to spend 10 years to finally have decided to change their mind”, to which we reply that Apple has always had a horde of fans who have been faithful, and to celebrate their anniversary, Apple has decided to offer an iPhone something different. [content-egg module=Amazon template=grid] Of course, now it is left for users to decide to pay for their anniversary gift, and this is the bitter drink, since the new device of the brand of the apple cannot be found for less than $1385, something that has probably been seen influenced by Android manufacturers, which do nothing but raise the prices of their products. For example, Samsung has released its Note 8 for more than $1195. Google has bought part of HTC That HTC was not at its best which is no secret to anyone. After a phase of negotiations, Google decided to offer HTC’s mobile division more than one billion dollars. But beware, this does not mean that Google has bought HTC and that now the Taiwanese company belongs to him, but that the two companies are going to work closely together. This fact is not something new since HTC already worked in the construction of Pixel, Pixel XL and Pixel 2. HTC continues to create smartphones that it commercializes under its own name, as well as its virtual reality department continues with its activities. The HTC Vive is, with the Oculus Rift, a reference to virtual reality glasses, and HTC intends to continue developing this technology in the future. Huawei uses a chip dedicated to artificial intelligence A few years ago, artificial intelligence seemed to have another futuristic concept worthy of a science fiction story. Now it is a reality, and the most evident proof is the Google Assistant, which can be found on many smartphones and connected devices. The artificial intelligence, in these moments, is synonymous with numerous logical algorithms, but perhaps this coming year this technology takes a more material form. Huawei decided to install a somewhat special chip on its Mate 10 Pro: an NPU. This chip allows you to quickly perform calculations related to artificial intelligence, such as recognizing objects or people in real time in order to improve the rendering of images. It can also be used to make translations online, first with the text and later with the voice. This leads us to think that, over time, will develop its potential to give new uses. And to you, what moment of this year did you find more remarkable?
