a/n: happy kinktober yall! here’s a sloppy sanemi post 4 day one!

You should have never trekked so absentmindedly through the woodland. Under the lush foliage leaves, as the crescent moon hung high in the sky. Your body surrounded by the many heavy trunks of trees—your shouts captured, never to be heard by the outside world.

You crept through a sacred verdant land, and he caught you.

You strolled upon his scouting grounds, and he had found his prey.

Seeking you out with his enhanced sense, Sanemi pursued you throughout the thicket. Seizing you in his hands, he held you upon a tree. His weight pressed into the curve of your back—the aroma of earth pervades your nose.

His hands run along your hips, tracing the contours of your body. Almost as if attempting to recite the details of your frame. His palms are frigid, pushing shivers across your spine. The pointed curve of his nail tenderly caresses your supple flesh.

He pressed his nose against the side of your neck, sensing your soft pulse. He enjoyed your gentle fragrance, as it obscured his senses. The way your flesh jerked beneath fascinated him.

Sanemi watches as you succumb to him, tilting your head to the side for easier access. His eyes traced the contour of your collarbone, which protrudes from beneath the soft fabric of your clothing.

Your body like satin, your fragrance intoxicating. He was eager to explore your body.

He parted his lips, exhibiting the jagged fangs extending from his gums—glimmering beneath the night sky.

He locks his lips around you as he buries his teeth to your tender flesh. The veins pierced, gradually running a crimson trail. The abrupt impact elicits a gasp from your lips, as your chest heaves.

Sanemi held you close to his immense frame, fervently running his hands over your body. He enjoyed the warmth of your frame; the sensation nearly addicting. His fingers probed your flesh with a hunger that bordered on desperation.

He carefully slips the straps of your clothing past your shoulder as he savours the decadent flavour of your blood. Pushing the luxurious cloth, revealing the gentle contour of your breast– a thrilled hum exhales from his lips at the sight.

Sanemi’s thumb caresses the pointed nub, listening to the faint moan that emerges from your lips. His digits embrace the edged flesh, delivering it a delicate pinch. His tongue laps prudently at your open incision, offering further sensation. His palm embraced the tender flesh, finding bliss in the spectacle.

Sanemi was eager to please, as he drank your moans of ecstasy passionately. He was thrilled to watch how your body would respond to his touch. He enjoyed watching you yield to his caresses.

- metalhead!genya doesn’t have a predetermined design, he is interpretable. if you’re really struggling, you could probably just reference from pinterest. ((but as a small preference, i don’t reallyyyyy see him wearing leather jackets. it’s distasteful to me…)

(( as the storyline is supposed to be set in kimetsu gakuen, he’ll also be in the uniform. he'll wear leather and/spiked bracelets, and his fingers will be adorned with silver rings.)

- I would envision him with a subtly darker complexion!! sun-kissed…

- I'm still not sure if his facial piercings would be excessive, but he might have a few.

- he does… smoke… in the narrative… just because i want him to.

i haven’t been too focused on the music he’d listen to. I suppose bands such as Mötley Crüe, Black sabbath, Slayer, Megadeath and Judas Priest. ((this is just the general heavy metal genre. if yall think he’d listen to something else— perhaps heavier?, pls tell me!! i’ll hear u out!!)

GENYA ‘N SANEMI

a/n: analysis of the shinazugawa brothers. manga spoiler warning !

i’ll go over the symbolism of the brother’s colour pallet, and and give an analysis of their anger.

The symbolism of the colour pallet of the shinazugawas brothers.

Sanemi is the sole member of the Shinazugawa family that has white hair. White signifies purity, cleanliness, and sincerity. The allusion of sanitation could refer to his subsequent strong desire to cleanse the world of the evil known as 'demons'.

With black holding overtones of evil, mourning and death, Sanemi also being the only individual to not hold the colour could allude to the reality that he is the only one in his family who has lived.

As i previously referenced, whilst Genya's hair hue may predict his subsequent demise, it could also represent his ability to momentarily shift into a demon— He embodies the flesh of the evil in the world.

The Shinazugawa brothers possess violet eyes. Purple is recognised to signify ambition. This could represent their great desires— Sanemi seeks to eradicate demons, whereas Genya aspires to be stronger and receive his older brother's approval.

The reason to anger of the shinazugawa brothers.

Nothing indicates that the Shinazugawa brothers had always been inherently angry. There appears to be a cause to it.

Though there had been an incident in the Half-Winged Butterfly novel that Genya had lost his temper, it appeared to be an act of impulse. He would later cower, implying regret to his conduct.

It's facile to imagine Sanemi's rage stemmed from his extreme loathing of demons. He had spent (an estimated) five to six years slaughtering demons with the gardening implements he had acquired, neglecting other matters. Perhaps emotions of anger had grown to be his normalcy?

Though, it seems as Sanemi's excessive animosity has harmed his relationship with Genya.

However, Genya's rage is not as easy to comprehend. I have numerous theories to it.

It's possible that Genya is mirroring Sanemi. He feels that acting on anger is a symbol of strength. After all, that's how his brother behaves. (It wouldn't be unreasonable given how much he cherishes Sanemi.)

However, Genya's rage could also stem from negligence.

According to the field of neuroscience, children with a history of emotional neglect are 1.3 to 2 times more likely to experience issues with anger. Even though negligence is never directly stated, we can infer that Sanemi spent the majority of his time concentrating on demons.

In addition, we are aware that Sanemi detested the notion of Genya becoming a demon slayer. If he was taking care of Genya properly, How could he have allowed him to proceed to the final selection?

I enjoy ranting about these two. If there is anything else you would like me to cover, I will gladly do so.

If genya attempted to plait your hair, the results would be slightly imprecise, but still presentable.

sanemi has more refined hands and would produce a more neat result, conceivably with the addition of a thin ribbon- if you so wished.

In the Half-Winged Butterfly novel, it is detailed that Genya awoke earlier than Tanjiro- following the aftermath of the Zohakuten duel. He observed an altercation; one of the patients had been enraged and attempted to hurl a jug at one of the girls, yet, Genya seized it. He grew irritated, telling the man- “You can’t go hitting girls.”

He continues to scold him, reminding the man he needs to be appreciative of the nurses.

so, that’s your woman protector for you.

I was just wondering if you have any character x reader tips? What do you think it would fit better when writting those?

And, do you also think that it's better when the writer writes y/n as their "name" or calling them "you"?

im still ascertain in writing myself, but i’ll do the best i can to help.

it’s good to have at least a decent understanding of the character you’re writing about. by assimilating their difference from the cast, you can write for a multitude of characters without it being repetitive, and bland.

(for example, i portray sanemi more confident w the reader than genya. this is to depict genya’s pubescent characteristic.)

it’s also important to analyse the character’s relationships w others. how do they speak with their friend? does their speech differ with their family?

by analysing genya’s behaviour with sanemi, i was able to understand the value of family to him, and how it is an integral part of his personality.

and, from a personal point, i don’t use y/n in my writing. “you” is just my preference. but, it’s your decision!

Would Genya make a good dad?

sanemi exhibits a stronger paternal trait, but genya would still make a good father.

genya was perpetually protective and had prioritised his family from initiation. I believe that is one of his defining characteristics.

According to the one-winged butterfly novel, he assaulted someone who ridiculed his sibling. Though he later cowered, his first inclination was to defend his family.

i speculate he values family so strongly since he had little else. struggling with money while growing up, supporting his mother with arduous chores each day, family was the only pleasure he had.

(he knows what’s it like to take care of smaller children, having it been the core aspect of his childhood.)

even as he became older, the significance of ‘family’ remained with him.

he was determined to become a hashira to attempt to restore the relationship he and sanemi previously shared. even if it entailed forfeiting his life, all he wanted was to persevere a bond with the remaining relative.

slight digression, but needs to be underlined, genya is detailed as an impatient, hot-tempered boy who is unconcerned by the opinions of others. he will be upfront, even if it involves harming the feelings of others. he has no concern to sugarcoat things just because it could be painful to hear.

however, genya is hesitant and quiet as he confronts Sanemi, even as he is berated and ridiculed.

the multitude use of an ellipsis (…) implies hesitancy in his speech. he is much more cautious on what he says.

this then contradicts his later converse with Inosuke, in which he initiatives a physical wrestle with him after inosuke denigrated his strength.

this suggests that Genya values Sanemis' perspective of him. who happens… to be the only one to share a familial connection with! get it? get it? family… important! he loves his family!!

this seemingly irrelevant, minor tangent was intended to demonstrate Genya's devotion to family. it being one of his character's foundations, I believe he would make a strong father who prioritises his own life over his child's, just like he did for Sanemi.
