Today I had my sister do a mini photo shoot for me so that I would have some (non selfie) pics of myself to post on social media and my website for my business. I have always been uncomfortable in front of the camera. As long as I can remember. That is one of the reasons I always ended up behind it - and eventually making a (partial) living as a freelance photographer. Switching roles and having someone else behind the camera was surprisingly freeing. It took me a good bit to "warm up" and not be so tense, but she ended up getting some pretty decent photos that I feel pretty in! I LOOK REALLY SKINNY IN THEM TOO!🤗 I don't know when this happened, but I was clearly the last to know about it. I honestly think she just got some really good angles because I don't look that good in real life. This is the first time in a really long time that I actually LIKE how my body looks in a photo💃 Yay for body positivity and realizing I don't look the same as I did 40lbs ago! ☺️

Fitbit died before my workout today. Currently laying in bed and realized that I forgot to plug it in. My inner dialogue is going something like this: "I just laid down, I don't wanna move" "But, Fitbit" "So tired, I'll just charge it tomorrow morning" "But, Fitbit!" "So comfy.……fine! I'll go plug it in"
#the struggle is real#Fitbit needs to come out with some kind of kinetic charger so it charges while I walk
