🌸 if he isn't doing his job he with you, Curly, and Anya in the medbay. Anya doesn't mind because the more the more comfortable she feels.

🌸 he was mostly chill and silly before the crash, but most of his acts were purely innocent. But after...He became hyper-focused on you, viewing your presence as the only thing preventing him from spiraling. You’re his god, his reason to keep going.

🌸 Whether you’re tending to the curly or trying to gather what little food is left, you can sense him following you like a lost dog.

🌸 If you need help carrying supplies or fixing equipment, he’s always conveniently nearby. He dismisses other crewmates’ (only Jimmy) offers to assist you, claiming, “I’ve got it handled dude.”

🌸 the dude is in love but also depressed because he never will get to kiss the earth again, so any moment of kindness you show him; patching him up, speaking to him softly—only reinforces his belief that you’re an angel. You may not know it yet, but in his mind, you’ve already chosen him.

🌸 As supplies dwindle further and the crew grows more paranoid, Daisuke’s darker side comes to the forefront. He starts to see the Jimmy as a threat to your safety—and his time with you. Jimmy begins to meet unfortunate “accidents.” Perhaps lke getting locked in an airlock.

🌸 Daisuke always has an alibi, and he always assures you’re safe, staying close to you at all times…

You gently pat him on the shoulder, huffing. "Thanks, Captain." He lets out a shuddered breath, staring at you as you walk over to the shared couch, sitting with Swansea and the others. He had heard that title a thousand times before, but coming from you it sounded lovely.

But he didn't like how you sat remotely close to Jimmy. It made him want to tear out his lungs, how he looked at you. "You know I-" "Sunshine! I got your coffee!" Curly hums happily, stopping Jimmy from even uttering his words toward you. He sat between you, separating you from his line of sight. "You have surprisingly good posture..."

You murmur, sipping your coffee as you hummed, slouching a bit. "Ah..thanks!" He let out a shaky breath, internally squealing. He always found you the most appealing of the crew, however you were just a simple person in your eyes.

Everyone else saw you as the slouched over, nonchalant, monotone mechanic that loved coffee. But Curly didn't see you as that. He saw you as heaven incarnated. You were perfect. You were everything.

Curly listened to you tiredly ramble, eyes beaming with excitement. He was radiating with joy to hear you speak more than a few words. He asked questions to keep you talking, until Jimmy finally spoke up once more.

"Hey, I was talking to-" Curly slowly turned his head to the smaller man, bones cracking as he stared down at him. "We will talk later, jimmy." His once chipper and happy tone quickly dialed down to a gravelly and hoarse.

"...You should get that checked, Captain." You hum, making him instantly turn to you again. "A-ah? Checked?" He tilted his head, more so like a curious puppy now.

You motion to his neck, still sipping your coffee. "Your neck. I don't think there are that many bones in it." He instantly nods, staring down at you. "I'll go talk to Anya later in the evening.."

Swansea nearly chokes on his own breath.

- during work hours, they love to make you do useless shit.

Jimmy will purposely drop something and makes you pick it up. While Curly will make one person jobs into a two person jobs.

Makes jimmy feel like he has power, which is something he can’t get enough of.

While Curly just loves to be around you and keep and eye on you. Making sure your not telling the others what’s going between the three of you.

-Curly doesn’t get aggressive, but if he ever finds you talking to other staff by yourself, he’ll come up beside you and wrap an arm around you and give you a little too tight of a squeeze.

But he’s all smiles, until a the staff member looks away, and all you see is curly giving a side eye glare. ‘Better not have told anyone anything’.

- while curly drives the ship, sometimes he forces you to sit on his lap.

And maybe his chair can lean back, which causes you to fall into his chest more.

- jimmy definitely takes the lead in the relationship, it’s very rare Curly will actually stand up for you.

- sometimes they will corner you while your just doing your thing.

Jimmy will show up, towering over you, causing you to take a few back steps. Only for you to bump into someone’s chest, Curly.

Curly will wrap his arms around you, taking in you scent, while jimmy puts his arms on each side of you, trapping you from leaving.

“Where are you going?”

- Curly definitely is all about affectionate touch, cuddling a whole bunch with you, and jimmy totally gets jealous about it.

He just doesn’t know how to handle physical touch in a healthy none sexual or harmful way. And is jealous that Curly can just get to touch you with out you flinching.

So he’ll force you to hold his hand every now and then, and get super red in the face about it, but he will chew you out if you ever flinch at him when he does it. Even though he’s only proven again and again he can and will hurt you.

There's nothing wrong with fantasy, it's normal for young people to have crushes in people far older than them, it's healthy to be attracted to adults, the problem comes when adults are attracted to minors.

I'm sorry to anyone who was groomed and is traumatized, it's so awful, but it is the adult who is at fault for doing that, young people having romantic fantasies isn't perpetuating grooming, it's the adults* doing the grooming who are at fault for the grooming.

(I am aware that grooming can happen to anyone at any age, even adults can be groomed)

Kids shouldn't have to "know better" than to not crush on people older than them, having a crush on someone who is an adult when you're a teenager is pretty normal, it's the adults who have to know better and not fuck around with kids.
