I think I had a similiar question before about this subject, but Aquello's kind actually hatch from eggs.

So a same-sex couple like Aquello and Neil could get an egg and just nurture it together until it hatches. The egg could have Aquello's dna to carry on the line. Aquello also has sisters, so they could also bring forth the successorsl for the throne 👑
