I think one of the reasons I love the idea of Balam and Kirio interacting more is that if you just show their designs to someone who knows nothing about m!ik, they wouldn't be able to guess which of them is a weird sadist who leads a terrorist organization and which one is just an awkward, sweet nerd who secretly makes picture books on his free time. And most characters probably wouldn't guess it either

my friend has this story in her head about the misfit class doing an exchange student program with an angel school and all the cultural shenanigans that come with it. kiriwo wouldn't actually be involved in said story but she said that where demons grow from pursuing their desires, angels get stronger from self-sacrifice and it made me think about kiriwo dealing with someone who not only does not despair at the threat of being eaten but is super down for it actually. I imagine he'd find it pretty disappointing
