TW: mentions of slavery and sexual abuse

So I had this kinda insane headcannon (can you even consider this a hc?) while I was supposed to be working on lab stuff and came back after a millennium (maybe a month) to share it. I do this really weeb-y insane thing when im listening to music where I subconsciously try to match the lyrics to characters I like, and I was listening to Loser, Baby from Hazbin Hotel and thinking about... Aventurine...

Obviously theres two different singers/characters in this song, but that doesn't stop me, so I had this vision right: there's some IPC meeting and they get off track and some random employee asks everyone what advice they would give to their younger self if they could meet them. So Aventurine is thinking about it, and then cue this song, except Husk is the current "Stoneheart Aventurine" while Angel is the past "Enslaved Kakavasha".

I feel like genuinely the only person who could say something to past Aven the same way Husk said it to Angel in this song would be Aventurine himself, he's the only one who truly knows his own situation. He kind of did this in the game when he went back to talk to his child self.

But in this case it's more like him talking to the version of himself that was already enslaved by the his old master.

"You think your life is wrecked. Well, let me just say you're correct." - Obviously, Aventurine himself would be the best person to agree that he had a pretty terrible past life, but then might go on to tell his past self that he's lowkey still a "loser" in the future, despite having some semblance of "freedom" he still isn't exactly free from his past or to do whatever he wants.

"There was a time I thought that no one could relate, to the gruesome ways in which I'm damaged. But letting walls down, it can sometimes set you straight" - On Penacony, before the final showdown with the Astral Express, everyone (including players) just thought Aven was some passive aggressive creep, when the reality is just that he is extremely closed off and paranoid. Especially when Sunday cursed him and Ratio tried to help him afterward, he brushed that off that concern to finish the job himself. But he was able to come to some form of closure with the two other parts of himself that he met in the Dreamscape: the child Kakavasha, and his antagonistic alter ego.

"I sold my soul to a psychopathic freak. Ha-ha! And you think that makes you unique?" - Okay technically Kakavasha was originally taken forcefully as a captive from Signonia after the Avgin-Katican massacre. But even now, he's technically still signed his life away to keep bringing miracles to the IPC. I can totally see Aven joking around with his past self about still kind of being a captive as a humorous coping mechanism.

"I got an appetite for gambling. I got an appetite for sampling every drug and sex toy I can find." - The gambling line is self explanatory, but as for Angel's line in this song, it was heavily implied that Aventurine was subjected to a form of sexual abuse/extortion by his old master. Just like Angel, it's not as if he chose to be in the situation, but it was an consequence of his circumstance, and something that would stay with him forever.

"You're a loser, baby. A loser, but just maybe if we eat shit together, things will end up differently. It's time to lose your self-loathing and excuse yourself, let hope in, baby." - Here comes the actual headcanon part of this entire post (lmao) but I can imagine Aventurine thinking that if he could have given advice to his past self, he might have hoped to give himself closure earlier (before the scene in the real dreamscape). And kind of let him know that in the future there are people who actually do care about Aventurine and respect him (Ratio, Topaz, TB, Acheron, Sunday, kind of Jade too).

Not all the lines work exactly but it was just a bittersweet little thought Aven might have had if that employee asked the question. Then after spacing out for a long time, they would get his attention again and ask him the question again. And Aventurine would probably laugh and deflect, and never bring up the topic again, but keep the thought in his head.

Anyways yeah sorry for the length I just had a Thought:tm: and had to yap. Goodbye until I come back and give my thoughts on either a song I thought fit Phainon or how the Fate event subtly gave Aven even more development, whichever one I'm feeling first.

I've been rewatching parts of Naruto Shippuden, namely the start of the 4th Great Shinobi War Arc and the part where Gaara rushes to face Sasuke with Raikage...he completely runs off without his gourd...Kankurou has to grab it and chase after him while reprimanding him 😭😭...but then when they reach Sasuke's location, Gaara has his gourd on him again..........so I'm just thinking about and being emotional about these brothers

So I finally decided to draw Kinich

Dude this guy would've looked so goddamn fine if he was darker... oh well if hoyo won't do it then the artists will!

I'm so annoyed cause I saved up like 150 wishes for him and his weapon after losing the 50/50 on Clorinde, and what ends up happening is that I get him at 82 pity and then lose the weapon 50/50 as well. AND THEN I get all the way to 55 pity before running out... no weapon in sight....

My lazy ass is gonna wait until the anniversary 10 pull but I'm upset cause I wanted to win on the weapon and save the extra for mavuika and her weapon uehghhhh. oh well such is gacha and gambling ig
