The problem for me when it comes to shipping Bruce with anyone is that you could objectively offer just about any potential pairing (aside from Batcest for obvious reasons) and 9.9 times out of 10 I would absolutely agree with you, no hesitation.

Selina Kyle/Bruce Wayne: A comics classic pairing and one I find myself constantly coming back to. There's a reason this pairing has stayed so popular over the years and I can't deny that the sheer drama of it all is a main factor in bringing me back to it every time. 1000/10, no further questions needed.

Clark Kent/Bruce Wayne: A fandom classic for a million obvious reasons and I will always be a sucker for the "sunshine golden retriever who really loves their grumpy black cat companion" dynamic. Amazing work, folks. Keep that shit coming.

Diana Prince/Bruce Wayne: IT'S FUCKING WONDER WOMAN!!!! HOLY SHIT ABSOLUTELY YES!!!!

Hal Jordan/Bruce Wayne: Do you enjoy a good amount of annoyed exhaustion and mischievous teasing with your ships? How about when the roles are reversed in a way you weren't expecting? I am telling you the moment you realize how much of a kick Bruce gets out of annoying the shit out of Hal, all the stars will magically align for you in the same way they did for me.

The Justice League/Bruce Wayne: Everyone attends his 3 hour "Please Stop Doing Stupid Shit" PowerPoint presentations because it makes him happy and that's what matters most. Also, Bruce's kinda literally sort of just straight up their sugar daddy and nobody wants to risk being on his shit list after the absolute shit fest he threw over someone *cough cough* Barry and Hal *cough cough* trying to mess with the timeline after accidentally breaking one of the Watch Tower monitors again.

Joker/Bruce Wayne: Eh, not my immediate go to and definitely lower on my list. Definitely one of my main fave pairings as an edgy teenager, pfftt. But if you're specifically talking about Lego Batman Joker or Telltales Batman Joker, I see you, I feel you and holy shit we both should go to therapy together.

Harley Quinn/Bruce Wayne: Again, not my immediate go to, but I totally get it, my fucking guy!!! I. Get. IT. The sheer potential chaos and shenanigans that can come with this pairing are always so fucking gold!

Talia al Ghul/Bruce Wayne: They stay together for Damian and it's so fucking messy/slightly toxic af, but I love me some messy af bitches and god these two never stop delivering on the drama. Perfect popcorn munching pairing.

Minhkhoa Khan/Bruce Wayne: *deep inhale* So these two were just straight up married, right? Like, we're all perfectly aware of the fact that Khoa absolutely wrecked Bruce's entire world and then proceeded to drag them both through the messiest fucking divorce of all fucking time, right?

Tony Stark/Bruce Wayne: Genius Billionaire Playboy Philantropist meets Detective Billionaire Pseudo-Playboy Philanthropist. What could go fucking wrong? XD I'll be real, I'm mostly here for the custody fights over Peter, but I perfectly understand the appeal. Definitely up there in the higher tiers of crackshipdom.

Sleep/Therapy/Bruce Wayne: OT3 for LIFE. Don't @ me. This shit is the real fucking deal, right fucking here.

Update/Disclaimer: Slight addendum to BatJokes section because an anon misunderstood and assumed I was trying to say only Lego Batman Joker and Telltales Batman Joker were the "healthy"/"less toxic" versions of the character and that's why I "preferred" those two.

Lemme just say, no, I don't have a preference for any particular version of the Joker. And I only mentioned those two in the first place because I literally just finished rewatching and replaying them. Imo, every version of Joker is "toxic" and that's part of the appeal of the pairing.

To try and say there's any "healthier" version of the Joker just sounds sorta wild to me, too. 'Cause it's the fucking Joker. Sure, Lego Batman Joker is definitely toned way the fuck down (it's a movie for kids, people). But that doesn't mean people can't enjoy that version and Lego Batman Joker is still the fucking Joker.

Also, I wanted to talk to more people about those particular iterations of the character. Hence me bringing those two examples up in the first place. Sue me.

In conclusion: The Joker is a fucked up messy bitch (affectionate and derogatory) and I perfectly understand why people want to ship these two. I mean, BatJokes used to be a main fave of mine. It's just not my main pairing now 10 years later.

And that's perfectly fine.

Doesn't make it any less valid of a ship.
