I find it cute when mages in Skyrim put up wards to protect themselves from magic attacks and you’re there running towards them at full speed swinging a long, physical strip of steel at them.

I just had my WORST moment in Skyrim ever

I was doing the Boethiah quest (the one where you have to bring a follower and sacrifice them to Boethiah) 

and I didn’t know who to sacrifice, so brought the first mercenary I could find, which was Stenvar (at the inn in Windhelm)

And just as I commanded him to touch that sacrifcing-pole-thingy he started saying

‘You’ve been a good friend to me. That means a lot.’

and it FUCKING BROKE MY HEART

but what REALLY destroyed me was when a courier approached me afterwards handing me 300 gold that Stenvar had left for me because apparently we were bestest frans

It made me feel so guilty I reloaded the game and did the whole fucking quest over again.

This game knows how to make you feel terrible.

Climb out of cellar, go to leave.

Old woman standing outside facing me, telling me I’ve seen too much and that I must now die.
