Autumn, 20s, she/they. Welcome! This is a multi-fandom blog where I post about my interests (fantasy/sci-fi, superheroes, anime). Which fandom I'm into the most varies a lot, but I'm always willing to take asks about any fandom I've posted about at any point. I also am a writer and artist. Feel free to ask me anything! ^_^I do a lot of art and oc stuff, mainly on toyhouse and sometimes pillowfort. You can find me on both as arias_hollow.
Don't wanna be here? Send us removal request.

I realize tumblr is not the best place to advertise this sort of thing (which is why I'm also gonna post on reddit), but since I actually have followers on here, I figured I'd gauge some interest:
Do you like randomizers? Specifically, multiworld randomizers where you play two or more games at once? Would you like to see what a game based off of the multiworld randomizer experience would be like?
Would you perhaps even want to work on such a project as a volunteer?
Introducing: Project Rando!
Here's my official pitch:
In Project Rando (temporary project title), you play as Stella Puerta and The Traveler, separated by worlds but connected by the spacetime distortions plaguing them both. The game is designed from the ground up to feel like a randomizer; loading zones send you to unexpected, disconnected areas, and items needed for progression are clearly not placed in what one would assume to be their "original" location. Without the preexisting knowledge of how their worlds are set up (like you would with a randomizer of a pre-existing game), exploration becomes a puzzle unto itself.
(Don't worry, there will be plenty of maps)
As the only two people who seem aware of what's going on, it falls on Stella and the Traveler to do something about it! By working together, they'll progress by getting each other items to help solve puzzles, power up in combat, and ultimately solve the mystery of what happened to their worlds - and how to fix them.
Joining Stella on her adventure and acting as her primary connection to the Traveler is Palette, a mysterious, magical creature known as a Riftling. A terrible tragedy befell its kind in its homeland, and to protect themselves, the rest of the Riftlings reverted back into eggs. If you hatch them, and raise them back up with different elemental energies, they may just become invaluable assets to your adventure!
--
The Traveler explores a fantastical kingdom, using a magic rod and learning spells to complete dungeons as an homage to classic 3D Zelda games. He can bring any two Riftlings with him on his travels, each one bestowing different skills depending on their associated element.
Meanwhile, Stella bats her way through retro cityscapes and their surrounding areas, with a much heavier focus on movement and combat similar to something like Kingdom Hearts. While she can't bring other Riftlings with her, she always has Palette by her side, who can obtain all sorts of abilities of any element!
The game is meant to have a low-poly 3D art style, primarily invoking games from the early 2000s. I, however, don't currently have the skillset for 3D modeling or animation - my specialty lies in writing and character design.
Which is why I'm looking for volunteers! Unfortunately, I don't currently have the income to pay anyone with, though I do plan to get this game on Kickstarter eventually. I assume this'll be most appealing to people who just want to get some experience or think it'll be a fun side project, and I'm okay with that.
But if any of that does sound appealing (and you like the idea of working on a game with a lot of queer, non-white, and disabled representation at its core), then let me know! Currently, I'm looking for:
3D modelers and/or animators
Programmers familiar with Unreal Engine
Environmental artists
SFX/audio designers
Of course, feel free to let me know if this game idea sounds interesting to you in general rather than as a potential developer - I'd love to be able to grow an audience for it!
#project rando#video games#game development#reblogging to BOOST#since my skills are also limited lol but this deserves to have REACH

Aplatonic Asks 🍏
What aplatonic labels and terminology do you use?
Is there any intersection with your aplatonic identity and other identities you have?
Thoughts on apples? Red or green?
Thoughts on apple juice? What about apple cider?
Have you ever tried a candy apple? Thoughts on artifical green apple flavor?
Have you come out to anyone as aplatonic? Have you discussed aplatonicism with anyone outside of aplatonic communities?
How did you realize you were aplatonic?
How did you first learn about the term "aplatonic"?
If you do want friends, describe your ideal friendship. If you don't want friends, describe your ideal support system.
(A) If applicable, talk about the successful and comfortable friendships you've had. What is it like for you to navigate friendship as an aplatonic? (B) If you don't have, want, or prefer friends, talk a little about the other kinds of relationships in your life that you deem important. Outside of relationships, what makes you happy and comfortable in life? What's it like to navigate life without friends?
Is there anything that makes you feel plato-repulsed?
Thoughts on the "power of friendship" trope? And other similar platonic-heavy tropes and stories?
What do you wish alloplatonics understood about being aplatonic?
What would you want to see highlighted in aplatonic awareness aimed at alloplatonics and questioning apls?
What would you want to see in aplatonic representation in media and/or fandom?
Do you have any aplatonic headcanons?
Has there been any media and/or characters that you could relate to as an aplatonic?
Any aplatonic-friendly media recommendations? Any media you recommend that aplatonics avoid?

Reblogging this very late because I only just found out it was also posted to tumblr lmao, but THIS WAS SUCH A LOVELY GIFT, and even if it's from a few years ago, I still like to look at it sometimes like ':)'. Your art is gorgeous in general, so it's always so exciting getting to see my fellas in your style! ^_^

“If you’re worried about the financial difficulties that come with being nonpartnering, you could always just get married platonically for tax benefits!” Respectfully, I would rather Saw (2004) my own foot off than be married, and the fact that the state uses legal and financial incentives to promote monogamous romantic relationships to the public is not enticing to me but is, in fact, an active deterrent to me. I won’t fault anyone for trying to game the system to get by, but I have no interest in feigning alloromanticism or romance favorability to gain the benefits that may come with the government giving its stamp of approval on my personal relationships.
#aromantic#asaw#asaw 2025#yep yep#I know for myself I have felt torn between 'well maybe I should try to game the system to make things easier'#and 'yeah but the repulsion would probably still make that pretty uncomfy the whole time so I don't really wanna and shouldn't have to >:('

hey if you wanna be an ally to aromantic people listen up: you need to start looking for subtle arophobia in posts. Because it feels like aro people are the only ones to notice when a post is targeting aro people without saying it.
Like, a post about how "love is everything and if you read that as "romantic love is everything" you're stupid and missing the point"? That's generally targeting the discussion around loveless aros and how many aromantics are uncomfortable with the usage of the word "love". The post isn't gonna directly target aros (because aros are chronically invisible and seen as childish and not real), but aros who see that are going to know that the op of that post doesn't respect aromantics and doesn't like us discussing our own experiences, and thinks our opinions and terms are stupid and immature.
Like, I've seen so. many. posts. clearly referencing aromantic community discussions that get passed around eagerly by people, because nobody fucking talks about aromantics in the queer community. Nobody outside of our community cares about red flags or amatonormativity, or, i don't know, taking our feelings on the word "love" seriously and not mocking us for our terms.
Like, I am begging you at this point. Please start listening to aromantics. Listen to our conversations and our theories on amatonormativity. Our community is valuable and our experiences matter just as much as every other queer persons.

it's aro week so here's a quick reminder to all my fellow aros that you don't have to "make up" for being aromantic. You don't have to love your friends twice as much to "make up" for romantic attraction you don't have to have a wide family you don't have to find The One in a qpr instead. If those things are something you want, go for it! But you shouldn't have to feel forced to go into any relationship just to make your aromanticism more palatable to outsiders.
Aromanticism isn't a hole that you need to fill. Sure it's a lack of romantic attraction but it's not a lack of self. You're already full and complete, whether or not you have more or less love in other areas of life. Do what you feel is right for you, not what others expect of you.

Honestly yeah, the amount of fellow a-specs I've seen being absolutely, needlessly unkind and self-centered about this is so discouraging. And once again, I feel it's the apl aros and loveless aros getting thrown the most under the bus - it literally doesn't matter if the themes 'could' be non-romantic, it by definition poses heartbreak and misery as the opposite to being loving/full of love. That's extremely amatonormative and the peak negative stereotype about loveless aros (and non-aros who are loveless too).
If you're reaction to someone saying a theme or something makes them feel alienated is to immediately go 'wow that's so dumb and you're so childish and have no reason to be talking right now', you're just being an awful person, being aro-spec yourself does not give you more authority to act like that.
Hi, just a concern with the theme poll, seems a little... meh to have lovestruck vs heartbreak (a very amatonormative theme) as a potential theme, especially when the theme poll released during arospec awareness week
We understand the concerns this theme may have caused and it was not our intention to exclude anybody from participating in Art Fight.
Themes are meant to be open-ended, so they can mean something completely different depending on the person. While Lovestruck vs Heartbreak could be viewed romantically, it could also be viewed platonically (falling "in love" with a new series, heartbreak during a friendship, etc.).
#art fight#aromanticism#aromantic#normally I don't post much but this was so baffling and frustrating to me#and no one else was mentioning the obvious#so I had to

First off, spin this wheel.
You just landed on one of 200 fandoms that have been very popular somewhere on Tumblr over the years. Topics were chosen either from appearing on a @fandom end-of-year recap or from my own long (long, long) site memories before that.
also all of these fandoms are definitely things that really exist in the real world and none of them are Tumblr creations
#polls#I got bojack horseman lmao so I had to vote no xD#I do know some basic things so really it was in between no and maybe#but I never watched it and never followed anyone who posted about it a ton#my brother liked it and talked a bit about it and I know about the ace rep and that's the extent of my knowledge

One of the worst things about coming back to a writing project is reading through it, enjoying it, then hitting the point where you stopped.
"What do you mean you didn't finish it?"
"What do you mean there's only half a paragraph of notes at the end?"
"And I'm the one that has to sit down and spend multiple hours on writing an ending to this thing? I have to answer these open questions and resolve these themes and make sense of what you were trying to build to?"
#writing woes#ljfkd I often get it where I stop writing mid scene or mid conversation#because I have zero motivation or ideas on where it goes next#skip to a few years later rereading it and finding it interesting#and being like WHY DID I STOP HERE THERE WAS SO MUCH GOING ON TO PULL FROM T_T
