About this Blog

Hello! My name is Divia! I am the author and creator of this Blog and of the Dragonborns you will read about,but first let me tell you a bit about myself!

I am a 19 year old,chronically ill,woman living in the southern part of the U.S.! I've always had a passion for storytelling,Videogames,and History for about as long as I remember. From the time I could walk and talk I was learning about long dead civilizations and I always wanted to know how day-to-day life was really like!

I remember when I first came across skyrim,I think I was 10-12 years old and it was on my dad's Ps3 that I first played it. My brother had bought it and I found it so cool that i played it to. As silly as it sounds,I used to pretend my female Dovahkinn was actually a princess who was just exploring the outside world for the first time,or that she was a bar maid forced to work at a smelly inn for her keep. I mean slaying dragons was amazing to me and all but not as interesting as my "Mermaid-princess-warrior". My playstyle is pretty similar to how it was when I was a kid,but now I actually incorporate the Dragonborn questline into my story,as opposed to ignoring it completely.

Now few other important details you should know is that I play on Xbox 1. I can't really afford a computer so consoles are my main place for my games. While my Dad has let me use his pc for a few games,he tends to be very territorial over it,so skyrim and especially skyrim mods are a no-go there. (For now). And even if I could have it on his pc,due to my health issues and the fact that its kept in a completely different building,I can't really use it often.

I will try to be active on here but due to my health I tend to go months at a time with little activity,so if it takes a while to respond to asks,know I'm not ignoring you,I'm probably sleepy or too drained to string sentences together.

Anyway,I only have a few rules for asks and Submissions

No Hate speech. Racism,sexism,homophobia,Transphobia,ECT. Will NOT be tolerated. I will delete,block,and report you if you send me ANYTHING with stuff like that in it.

No Dick Pics. Please. I dont wanna see your wrinkly sausage. I am Asexual and all that does is gross me out.

Be polite in comments. Not only am I sensitive but others may be too. Be mindful.

26th Last Seed

We are in Riverwood,little book. We got the stone for the Wizard,and cleared out the bandits,and even found a golden claw for a merchant. However I had an odd experience in Bleak Falls Barrow,it was if the words on that monument...glowed and I could hear whispers and chanting. I understood a single word from it. "Force". I figured I must be tired from all the fighting and worrying,so we are resting at the Riverwood inn for a bit. Eric is worried I might have gotten poison in me or a disease from something there,but I'm sure I'm just sleepy. I let him get a healer to look me over,for his comfort,and she said it was just anxiety and sleeplessness that was the cause. He has spoiled me since she left,bringing me food,drink,and extra blankets to ensure my comfort. He is a kind man,I hope he doesn't stay up all night worrying.I will talk to you more later.

22nd of Last Seed

Eric has found a couple of "Adventures" to go on. One to clear out some bandits and another is to fetch some stone for the Jarl's wizard. I worry about both. What if Eric gets hurt? Or killed! He only has basic sword skills! I guess I'll have to get a few extra bandages and healing potions ready. At least we will be helping people. And helping the Jarl should create more job opportunities for us,so Eric gets to follow his dreams. You should have seen him,his eyes sparkled and he had the biggest grin on his face. I haven't seen him this happy since when he got his first real sword as a lad. I told him he should spend some time resting before the trip and not to celebrate too heavily so as to avoid a hangover. He's downstairs now,drinking with the other men folk. Some of the Companions are at the tavern tonight and they are giving him a few tips on bandits and drauger. Mr.Farkas's voice is the main one giving advice,though his brother Vilkas occasionally chimes in on traps and puzzles. He says for levers,always look to the walls for hints.

20th of last Seed

Its been a few days and so much has happened, I must write them in your pages dear book!

First, Eric finally had enough of his fathers sheltering and decided to strike out on his own,his plan is to head to Whiterun and buy some armor with his savings as well as buy a sword.

Second,I have decided to follow him! I know,its a foolish endeavor,but I cant just let him go out on his own! He doesnt have the slightest clue on how to start a fire,or how to cook,or tend wounds,or even how to pitch a tent properly. He'd starve or die on his own! I can't possibly let that happen!

Thirdly,there is news of a Dragon attacking Helgan,of Ulfric Stormcloak escaping execution! I can only hope that we don't come across any dragons in our travels,and that Eric comes to his senses so we can go back home! Divines forbid if he actually joins the army! The thought of him getting killed terrifies me.

As of currently,we are staying in Whiterun at the Bannered Mare. Hulda,the owner,is a Kind woman and I've paid her to let us stay in the upstairs room for a few days,until Eric can find some adventure to run about on that is. Meanwhile I have taken on some odd jobs to ensure we have money for food and other supplies. The Companions need their clothes washed,repaired and hemmed,and are paying me fairly for the work, and Hulda pays me to chop wood for the fires,so I have a pretty stable income. Don't tell Eric but I did use some of my earnings to buy Little Lucia a coat and new pair of shoes and some food. I also got the beggar who's been tending to her some new clothes and a warm meal. Its not much but I beleive The Lady Mara would approve.

I must get to washing and sewing now,and once I'm done with that,I must try and sleep.

Dearest Diary,

My name is Lily Heart-Mender,and you,my dearest little book,are a gift from my most beloved friend,Erik. He said he got you on his last trip up to Whiterun that he took with his father to get some new inn supplies and other goods. You are a lovely shade of blue and have small floral designs carved into your leather front. Eric said you were to be used to record my adventures. He's always had dreams of adventure and glory while I had hopes of settling down,maybe marrying a wealthy merchant. So he must think that marriage and child-rearing is some grand adventure. Oh well, it's still kind of him to gift you to me.

*Decided to leave Rorikstead w Eric after he had enough of his father's shielding. 

*left w Eric because she was worried he would starve or get hurt.

When Lily was a child,her father died due to getting kicked by a horse. He lived for three days on deaths door before passing. She was raised most of her life by her mother before she married her step-father when she was 13.

Lily has always dreamed of being a wife with 2 or 3 kids running about,sitting in a rocking chair and sewing while her husband went out and worked. But she had to put all her dreams on hold when her best friend decided to run away to start his dreams of becoming an adventurer. She knew Eric had no idea how to survive on his own and followed after him shortly after. She let his father know she'd be going with him,which eased the older man's worry a bit. She has never left her home before so she is quite apprehensive of this whole "Adventuring"Business,but due to her people skills,basic life skills,and kind heart,she tends to easily navigate most of the troubles that this lifestyle brings to her. And she keeps Eric out of trouble for the most part.

However,some sleazy characters and flirts go right over her head,so she just thinks they're nice.
