Saanvi has gotten closer to Anthony Lace and when he stops by she decides to spend some time with him. They play some kicky bag and when Anthony complements her on her skills, a ghastly form emerges out of him- and for a moment Saanvi swore it was the form of her father. She quickly said goodbye to Anthony and returned to the house, sure she must have just imagined something in the night air

Also shopping is the new librarian Veronika by @esotheria-sims!

Hollowbreast General is still pretty popular and has now started selling baked goods as well. The new Library which we will take a look at shortly is right across the road so people can enjoy the new facility and then stop by for necessities.

Between the shop and the gardening and the chores, Latika also takes some time to maintain the appearance of their front yard.

Saanvi still finds plenty of time for fun, however, and her mother is always glad to see that there is still much of her childhood still within her.

Saanvi also helps out around the house and with her siblings. Latika cannot thank her daughter enough for her responsibility and kindness.

Twins Osden and Minnie, despite growing into strong, capable children still look to their mother for everything, demanding her attention whenever they spot her. She cannot begrudge them this, however, and is always interested when they have any news to tell her, even if their experiences are limited to the McClean Schoolhouse and their own plot.

With the proceeds from her store she has managed to expand on the stock of horses. Pictured is Constellation, the original appaloosa Lloyd bought and their new stallion Wizard. They were also able to add two new mares. She just needs to work on her own skills in order to train them to ride and then she will be able to sell them at a profit.

Despite the death of her sister, Latika takes her position as the main provider of food for Alicel very seriously. She is the only household which sells from her little garden which provides hay for animals, flour, vegetables, and cherries from her tree.

It would be great for a larger farm to start up where she could source more variety as her little plot doesn't allow for much. She has had some conversations with Theodore Lace about planting and she has high hopes that when he reaches adulthood and strikes out on his own that he will start a larger farm, but for now she is stuck packaging everything on her own.

Overall, a quiet week for the Laces- if you can call being on the brink of breakdown and exhaustion quiet. Dimitri's situation causes considerable strain on the household and the children who once thought the wolves were just outside, now realize the full breadth of the situation. Everyone is nearly consistently on the edge of a full break-down. They attempt to pass the nights, during which they cannot sleep, buried in books and art.

OOC: truly everyone is on the brink of aspiration failure as they roll the fear to hear dimitri howling over and over again and i can't control him every minute to make sure he doesn't. between getting people to school and making sure no one dies of hunger it's been a challenge.

Meanwhile, although Santiago still holds some grudges (his enemy of the week is his dear brother Anthony) he knows the importance of putting on a good face and genuinely, also, feels a little bad for picking a fight with Ambrosios Tedo just because he was having a conversation with Santi's sister Rose.

Now that Dimitri is more accustomed to his state, he has little trouble controlling himself, to the point that he can marvel at the fact that what was once little toddling creatures who could only babble are now nearly fully grown- having intelligible conversations and everything!

Having a house full of teenagers and one ravenous beast, means that food is nearly always in the dining room for those needing a quick meal. Rose, Henriqueta, and even the boys have all become passable chefs, but Rose is dying for the day they hire some help like the newspaper always alludes to rich families having.

ROS: nothing happens due to not having a saloon in town. Someone is saved from a gambling addiction

Despite having many fights, old grudges, and a frightening transformation that nightly haunts the entire family, Henriqueta can't quite find it in herself to part from her husband- even if their marriage wasn't exactly one chosen for love.

THE WARDS

Edward Ward left the group of settlers he had traveled with quickly to open a church: one that would be open and accepting of any sim. Although Strikes and Kills is not a believer, she quickly fell in love with his passion and kind heart. They are both very happy with their arrangement, with their marriage and hope to make a life together in the New Rectory, built for a family. OOC: yes I decided to bring back Strikes and Kills. I was very upset when she died and so was Edward. Now, if she dies again I will play it as normal.

THE BEES

Ishan and Mei Bee had married despite their parent's wishes and stole away to make their own lives. Now, finally in a home of their own, they are ready to make a family- hoping to make money by opening a flower shop.
