rosie's driver probably read her the railway series books before she was brought to sodor (or at least, before she met thomas / realized thomas was on sodor) and she probably saw and realized thomas was a tank engine just like her and that even though he was cheeky he was still very useful and wanted to be like that- so when she met him it was probably a big "fan meets celeb" moment for her but thomas had probably never met an ENGINE who knew him like that and got freaked out hence leading to his annoyance with her

I enjoy hiking as a hobby, and y'know who would be the perfect pokemon for that? GOGOAT

- obviously they are based on mountain goats, so they'd be built similarly to them. Strong legs, good stamina and climbing abilities, etc. They can easily traverse even the toughest of mountains without breaking a sweat, so no matter how difficult your hike is, rest assured Gogoat can keep up with you!

- You can put bags and such on their back to carry any items you may need. Water, food, camping supplies, medical kit, etc. And hey, if you get tired yourself, you can ride on Gogoat's back the rest of the way

- I hc that all grass types have plant manipulation (to varying degrees). So if there are any roots or plants in your way on the trail, Gogoat could move them out of the way to clear a path. Or they could just smash through them with their horns aswell.

Turning red is genuinely one of my favorite movies. Like any movie that I would happily rewatch at any time is usually what makes it one of my favorites and turning red fits that box every time. I know it gets alot of discourse online (for stupid reasons) but I love it regardless

As someone who both loves pokemon and golf (and is a somewhat active golf player) I'd love to dive into the whole mechanics of how pokemon golf works in the pokemon universe. We saw the school gang in that one episode of the sun and moon anime play a round of pokemon golf with Kahili, and as much as it gave us alot of insight into how pokemon play a role into the game itself, golf can be a bit complex with alot of situational stuff and strategy and I think there's alot of room for hcs and such. Might post some of my ideas or little blurbs about pokemon golf stuff on here, who knows 🤔

The odds of me and another person both having Corviknight as a service pokemon on the mind is absolutely wild (Im the 2nd anon btw). Whoever you are, you have great taste :)

Ik this is weird, BUT CORVIKNIGHT SERVICE POKEMON, it could deffinetly take you out of uncomfortable situation (hold on tight though)

here's some hcs for the both of u:

I think flying types are super useful for wheelchair users especially in tougher environments. They can easily carry and move around wheelchairs if there are no accessibility ramps. Plus, they can quickly and easily get help no matter the terrain if something happens!!

Service Corviknight are awesome bc if someone is being a bigot, the service Corviknight can just maim them, as is their right

Disabled people deserve to have a giant murder bird service pokemon if they so choose. it's badass

Corviknight are exceptionally intelligent so I think they'd make good service pokemon for that reason. With timing, mimicry, and just general smarts they'd be able to assist with a lot of tasks, maybe even mimic their trainer to make phone calls!

idk what other Corviknight specific things are relevant but like. Look at the dude. I think he's great. Also their temperament and the fact that they're used as job pokemon already prolly makes them well equipped for service

Maybe around the conductors? But also you said that they considered Lady deity-like? And if shes working with Rusty, maybe he is considered the same? Maybe they view engines who visit them in dreams to be deities, because maybe they view dream travel to be a supernatural ability? 🤔

this scene makes me think a lot. we know lady is deity-like and lady funny enough isn't actually canon to ttte so there's already the thought of like. do engines have deities? is she a concept? if so, what of to the engines? freedom? free will? safety? but also rusty being here, except rusty is canon to ttte- but in thomas' dream, rusty is here working together with lady- so is rusty also an engine deity? a concept? iirc skarloey and rheneas thought he was a gift for how useful and cheery he was- so is rusty an engine deity? this would be really funny if he was like a diesel engine deity though because he does exist in canon but (at least to this point) has had little to no interactions with standard gauge diesel engines
