I was recently extremely blessed in being able to finally see one of my “bucket list bugs” as I’ve started calling them. (Not a real list, as I’m never one to be organized…)

But a friend alerted me to the presence of this big beauty and J gave me a leg up to take a closer photo with my measly phone camera and subpar photography skills. I found some eggs she had laid on the wall and I scooped them up in hopes I can look after them. She hung around with her admirers for a good half hour before deciding she’d lingered long enough and flew off into the literal sunset.

I am very appalled and angry at the outright sabotage (outright tries to spoil the end credit scene) and disrespect that critics and the media have shown to @blackadammovie This movie 🎥 in my opinion🍿 is a legitimate comic book film. Anyone who sits there and disses on the cast and crew as well as the spectacle and action is merely giving into the symptoms of Fredric Wertham Syndrome. Just as Frederic Wertham lied to America 🇺🇸 for decades from 1932 and onward claiming the comic books and the violence in comic books causes juvenile delinquency so too are critics and the media dissing on the comic book quality of Black Adam – The Movie. This movie does not reinvent the wheel. Dwayne Johnson puts the ROCK back into Dwayne The Rock Johnson and lays the SMACK DOWN as a legitimate antihero named Black Adam just as he did when he was in the WWE as The Rock. This movie demonstrates what a true DC Comic book movie is supposed to be: crime fighting, action, adventure, super powers, magic, and wonder. This movie respects the source material and the writers and directors give the source material the respect that it deserves by making a movie that is a cinematic portrayal of the material not a dramatization of it. Please don’t read about this movie online. Please go watch this movie for yourself. Comics are juxtaposed sequential art. This movie is that juxtaposed sequential art in cinematic motion. Please! Please! Please, don’t listen to critics and nay sayers. Go watch this movie for yourself. Don’t give in to the Hegemony and cheated out of a fun time at the movies; just like Wertham and all of his supporters cheated the USA 🇺🇸 out of years of growth and expansion of the art and culture of comic books.
