Guys, where did Itachi get his necklace from?

Like I know in reality is just a design choice by Kishimoto, but I love humanizing Itachi and analyzing every little thing about him so 😔

Anyway, I've seen some people talk abt it online and say that it was a gift from someone significant i.e. Izumi, his mother, Shisui, etc. But like, imo Itachi wouldn't keep something like that with him. I js feel like he wouldn't keep many possessions if any at all because he'd feel like he was tainting it and the memories it held. But at the same time he wouldnt buy (much less steal) something as unnecessary as a necklace. So it'd probably have to have been a gift. Maybe he ran into a kid while on a mission and saved them to which they gave him the necklace and he's worn it since? Idk

People have also pointed out that it's the same design that Kakashi's scarf has but I feel like that's unrelated
