Two Moons is a high fantasy WIP being developed on Twine by @veswrites-if set in an original, nuanced world. In it, you play as a monster hunter cursed blessed by one of the realm's divine on the hunt for a way to save your life.

While stats are collected throughout the story to customize reactions and appraise the long-term effects of choices made, this IF is story focused rather than stat heavy. Don't look here for any dice rolling.

The story is LGBTQIA+ friendly, including acespec and arospec main and supporting characters. Any willful disregard for a character's sexuality or romantic orientation will not be tolerated on this blog. It's Intersex Awareness Week! Did you know it is also Asexual Awareness Week? There are individuals who belong to both groups, such as our own Youth Program Manager Apollo (yours truly) who created this art to celebrate both. Intersex people are born with variations in their sex traits or reproductive anatomy that do not fit traditional conceptions about male and female bodies. On the other hand, asexual people experience sexual attraction in a way that deviates from societal standards, such as not experiencing it at all or only under certain circumstances. Historically, these two communities share a similar fight for bodily autonomy against societal standards that dictate what we "should do" with our bodies. Both communities also often struggle to gain visibility of their perspectives on international, mainstream social media. So, during Intersex Awareness and Asexuality Awareness Week, let's put our hands together in solidarity for bodily autonomy and to be loud and proud!

I know you haven't really posted anything in a while but I still think about Sinners from time to time and I wanted some clarity on something. Those early pages describe Roman in almost supernatural terms like they were a demon or something and it was unnerving people but on reread I think it was just their demeanor being described poetically. Still I'd like to ask which it is just in case? I'm glad you're still hanging in there. take care.

Hi!! Just wanted to see if everything’s alright :) it’s been a second since an update and I know summer got busy, hope you’re doing ok!

Summer really did slip away from me, but thanks for checking in. Progress came to a halt on both of my wips as an unfortunate result of life stuff (new job, starting uni again, my dog's health issues).

I've been picking it up again slowly, but I am in the same boat as most people--just trying to put food on the table. Well, in my dog's bowl.

I haven't been to school in a few years, so I think once I have a better grasp on being a student (again) I'll be able to spend more time writing!

🍃 The Good People (Na Daoine Maithe) is a Kickstarter-funded project currently in development. Due to the scope of the story, we will be releasing content serially on Steam and Itch.io over several years, beginning this autumn. While you wait, feel free to play our demo! The revised version, with all new backgrounds and more voice acting, will be releasing August 1st, 2024.

🍂 The main character's name and pronouns are determined by the player, but in Vol. 1 (or the demo content), the MC will be referred to as "they/them" due to a case of mistaken identity.

🍃 Thanks to our Kickstarter, all upcoming routes will have both romantic and platonic choice options. If you're uninterested in romance, feel free to make friends instead!

🍂 Due to its Irish setting, NDM will occasionally feature instances of characters speaking in Gaeilge, i.e. the Irish language. All instances of Gaeilge are linked to an internal translation tool, which will be voiced by Nigel McKeon, a Gaeilgeoir.

🍃 Shae and Robin are non-binary characters, and respectively use they/them and any/all pronouns. Robin and Keagan are also arospec, and Shae is asexual. (Note: You can pursue the arospec characters romantically, but their romances might look a little different as a result of their identity.)

🍂 The free demo consists of the introductory volume of The Good People (Na Daoine Maithe). It is 2.5 to 3 hours of total gameplay, and ends at the point in which the player would continue on to a route (Vol. 2-7). The full game will be paid.

🍃 NDM is very intentionally set just prior to the onset of the Great Famine, which is both thematically and textually relevant to the leftist, anti-imperialist story we're aiming to tell. If you would like more insight into this, refer to this post.

🧵 Moirai Myths is a five-person company based out of Canada. The core devs/founders go by Clotho, Lachesis, and Atropos. All writing and programming are done by this collective, i.e. the Fates.

Hi Hello. Yes, I know. :< I went dark again! This time it was because I ended up changing more last minute and didn't want to moan on about the excuses so I hunched away to work on it in silence. :> I think I've made it clear through my actions that I am not a social media person so I tend to neglect the 502 Tumblr when I write. Sorry :< A lot happened in my life since posting the pilot but I did say I would never abandon 502 and I meant it. I struggled with my work/life balance since starting an IF (it's a lot of work) but I'm glad I'm here to I can update the demo now!

What to expect:

Some things to take note of:

The news anchor route is not available. I didn't like the direction I was taking it and haven't figured out what I want to do with it. It's not gone permanently but this update it'll be blocked off :<

Stats are still not updating. I ended up changing them multiple times and realized I wanted to wait another update to figure out what stats I want to focus on. The story gives me many directions to go on when it comes to stats and I want to make sure I hone in on the stats that will apply to most of MC's story. The stats are there so you won't get any errors but they won't move or anything and they'll most likely change.

There may be some inconsistencies, typos, errors or things that don't match. The product of writing half the chapter over nine months ago and going through many changes. :< Please let me know if you find errors. You 100% will in a 100k chapter.

I'm Nour Alanqar, and reaching out to you during a time of unimaginable hardship. I am 26 years old, married to Ashraf Ismail, who is 32, and together we have three beautiful children: Hussein, 6, Rajaa, 5, and Youssef, just 10 months old. Our lives have been turned upside down by the devastating war in Gaza, and we desperately need your help.

My daughter Rajaa is a radiant beam of sunshine, bringing boundless joy, warmth, and love to everyone she meets.

On a dark night at the beginning of the war, our area was subjected to massive bombing. The explosions reached our home, forcing us to flee into the night, running amidst periodic explosions and searching for survival. We made our way to southern Gaza by morning, seeking refuge in Rafah.

This is our home, filled with our memories and moments of joy and happiness, now reduced to rubble. Its destruction shattered our hearts.

In Rafah, we found shelter in a crowded warehouse filled with strangers, all of us struggling to find basic necessities like food, water, safety, and cleanliness. Despite these challenges, we were again hit by direct bombardment. My husband was injured in the shoulder, and the scene around us was filled with blood and corpses. The cries of my children in those moments still echo in my head.

A fragment of what it once was, and now, what it has become.

We moved several times to places described as safe, only to face new tragedies. During this period, my precious daughter Raja contracted hepatitis, adding to our suffering.

It was incredibly difficult for me to endure these disasters, especially as I was in the process of giving birth. Youssef was deprived of proper breastfeeding and the necessary nutrition for his age. Hussein's right to education and a safe childhood have been cruelly taken from him.

My baby Youssef, whom I clung to throughout the war, running with him through the rubble of shattered homes to escape.

At an age when Hussein should have been enjoying his childhood, all his rights were taken away from him.

Our situation is dire, and we need your support to rebuild our lives and provide a future for our children. Your kindness and generosity can make a profound difference. Your contributions will help us secure safe shelter, access to medical care, and the basic necessities of life.
