hiii i was wondering what folders do you guys have in sp? or if you have any insp for it that would help sm!

Hello anon. Our folders are not something that we are comfortable sharing in depth information on, but I can give you the vague details of what we use and things (although some of these we don't).

Identity details/Fronting indicators:

Ages- Self-explanatory.

Alter roles- Inside with have folders for individual roles- Remember that this may not help your system if you don't use roles and find them restrictive.

Gender/Sexuality- Self-explanatory.

Interests- Inside we have folders for every interest individual alters have.

Introject status- This is because we have a lot of introjects and introject 'piles' (a collection of introjects of the same character), if we can tell it's an introject then it helps to look through our 'groups' to find stuff.

Music taste- Folders for alters with different music tastes.

'Vibe'- A collection of 'vibes' and feelings to see who is fronting, for example if you have alters whose 'vibe' could be described as 'witch like', so we have a folder for alters whose vibes fit this, another for alters who fit a 'robot' vibe, ect.

Fronting frequency:

Frequent fronters- For the regular fronters

Semi frequent fronters- For alters that front often but not often enough to be regular fronters

Hardly ever fronts- For alters that don't front often

Very rarely fronts- For alters that front very rarely

Unable to front- For alters that can't front.

Dormant alters- For alters that are no longer around to front.

It's too early to say- For alters that may be new and we can't know what their fronting patterns will be.

General system info

Formed date- I would reccomend marking this by year rather than using specific dates.

Inner system groups- We tend to have 'clusters' of alters that front together or hang out in headspace, it's more for curiosity reasons.

Profile customization status- Just for marking down which alters profiles need editing.

Subsystems- Self explanatory.

Simply plural templates (you can also adapt a pluralkit template)

Ah I'm very sorry, the main language of this website is only in English. What I was referencing is that you can use plural language instead of singular.

If anyone knows any that have options in languages that aren't English please lmk!

@ Alters looking for trying out new pronouns/names, I would recommend using the pronoun dressing room.

It's a website where you imput your name, pronouns and even your 'type of person' (which could be replaced with nonhuman language). This website allows for plural language too.

Once you submit your information, you will recieve a short paragraph with your name and pronouns. You can even change said story to be one from the avalible media list.

I think this is a wonderful resource (not just for systems) to use and experiment with their pronouns and labels.

NOTE: Although I've been informed that the website is safe, I will note that it triggers my PC's anti virus software for reasons I suspect may be due to the url. If you want an alternative that doesn't, there is an alternative dressing room, however it has less options for language.

Do you have any tips or other Tumblr blogs that can help with DID/OSDD, or decorating SP/PK (such as stamps, image icons, etc)? We're still new to having a system and are trying to find as many resources as possible to help us navigate this whole thing and are looking for any/all helpful tips m tricks to make the adjusting period a little easier for us.

Firstly we don't know any other blogs, this is due to many personal reasons but we don't engage in system edit spaces.

Secondly, if you've just discovered your system I would personally implore you to focus more on on the 'basics' of your system and other important things (ie communication, trauma processing, coping methods, ect) rather than an aesthetic simply plural.

As a disclaimer I'm not saying you can't have an aesthetic simply plural (obviously we run this account for making aesthetic stuff to add to simply plural) but please focus in yourself as a collective during your initial discovery.

As for tips...

Focus on the signals your body is giving you. If you try to think about anything linking to trauma and your head starts to hurt or you feel nausia, please stop and try to process this another time.

Journal, get your feelings out and try to logically consider what they mean and the way they link to alters.

If you can get a support net work, I would be careful doing this (Internet and perosnal safety is important) but being able to talk to someone may also help you.

Look at medical resources and documents if you feel like a faker, you can compare your symptoms and experiences which helped us a lot when we were first discovering.

Do not take every word from the Internet as fact, even this you should not take as the law on how to be cope as a newly discovered system.

Try to make some small adjustments to make sure your alters are being listened to, for example if an alter wants to wear a red shirt you haven't worn in a while, wear it for a bit. I am not saying to spend lots of money or to make any drastic changes, just small ones to that you alters know they are being heard.

Don't focus on the way others precieve you. This is hard to do, I'm aware. However you are taking your time to learn about this, you may make mistakes or get facts mixed up. This is okay, even if others start to question you in an aggressive manner.

Strengthen communication. I know this is a very general statement, but it will help in the long run. How you do this we haven't quite worked out, but remember that you will have poor communication- Especially at first. This is fine, as are relapses in communication.

I apologise if I sound cold and if this isn't what you want to hear. I also can't remember our system discovery so help is limited I'm afraid.

Role category suggestions for simply plural

Host(s) - If you change hosts and/or you have multiple you could also sort them by year or any other time frame

Gatekeepers - This could be broken into what they gatekeep (ie switches, alters, memories, ect)

Introjects - You could also sort them as fictional, factual, ect and then by source

Fragments - These will only really apply to complex / polyfragmeted systems

Syskids / Alter ages - No notes, but I would personally keep the syskids private

Nonhuman alters - You could sort these by source or species

Persecutor - No notes other than you might want to change the name depending on how you personally feel about the label

Protectors - You could sort these by what they specifically protect you from (ie emotions, memories, situations, ect)

Caregivers - Could be divided into internal, external or a combination of the two

[Thing] holder - These can be broken down into symptom holders, memory holders, emotion holders, trauma holders, ect and then what they hold specifically (ie negative memories, BPD symptoms, happiness, ect)

No role or Other - It's important to note that not all alters have defined roles or want to identify with a role, which is fine.

Remember that roles can overlap, you may even find it easier to make your own roles because some just won't fit your systemss needs- These are only the 'common' ones we see discussed. You also do not have to create folders for all the types listed here, ignore and change them all based on your system needs. Requested by @luciasfeliztwt

Regardless of if it's a system related blog, edit blogs are hard to run when you have memory issues and several alters fighting over your edit style.

Remember that all of your edits are amazing and that you are allowed to be sporadic in posting, you don't have to sign off all the time and you are allowed to change your edit style.
