STL file problem

Does anyone knows how to export from Solidworks to Blender. I use .STL bit the models exports with to much lines and it gets hard to make a UV map. Any help?

📝 Tutorial: Tag your CC objects using titles like a PRO ✨

This short and easy peasy tutorial will teach you how to hide text in the title of an object in the catalog. Why? As you may know, a lot of CC creators “tag” their items by including their name and/or the set name in the titles of their objects, so people can filter the catalog easily when using the search bar.

Exemple: Exhibition set - Standing label - MLys

In this exemple, people can find the object by searching the tag words “MLys” or “Exhibition”. Cool! But that title looks long and not really aesthetically pleasing right? Now what if I told you that you can keep those tags hidden? 

All you have to do with Sims4Studio is: write your actual title, put the “|” caracter right after, add a space, and write all the tag words that you want hidden (separate each tag with a space).

As you can see above, if you look for the the word “Pufferhead”, the result will give you all the objects from the Pufferhead pack, even if their title don’t include that word!! (but we both know that they secretly do *wink*)

The tag possibilities are endless without worrying about the aesthetic! If you are motivated enough, you can use this technique on all the bb CC you own, with the tags that personally suit you. On the picture above, I’ve tagged the item with the name of the CC creator @litttlecakes + a theme tag.

That’s it! I’ve discovered this technique by coincidence, and haven’t found anything written about it even on the S4S forum, so I thought I could share!

For nonnie who asked about the Kallax set, I play on a mac and it shows up fine, so the issue is probably something else?

Fryer Dryer Universal Insert: 664 poly, Washing Machine Universal Insert: 681 poly, Microwave Decor: 244 poly,  Resize London’s Choice Stove: 626 poly Most Counters and Cabinets do not change from Maxis poly count and if they do the majority are lower poly.

Will match colors with all the Washer and Dryers and all of the S. Cargeaux and Modern Victorian Counter and Cabinet Colors. There are three Override files that are optional if you want the new Modern Victorian Color. If not then do not put these override files in your game and you can just delete the swatches from the open spaces inside S4S. All extras have been resized to fit the Insert Cabinet. Open Spaces will only add these Cabinets and Counters to your game and will not effect your original Maxis sets and they can even be used easily with them.

Washing Machine Fix for downloads before 12:30 Central Standard Time.I realized that I had not changed the sides on the Washing Machine to close in the gap on the side. I fixed that today, 7-13-2018. Two little ‘bugs’: - Sadly I had to remove the ‘warmed’ buff you get when warming up by the heating lamp because it caused a UI glitch when your sim died of overheating (I will add it if I find a solution for this) - The ‘warm surroundings’ moodlet is always happy even if your sim is already feeling hot (it’s the same with the heating lamp so I don’t know how to change that)

SNARKYSHARK CHINOISERIE CHAIRS - TS2 CONVERSION

I can not believe I’ve found these chairs for sims 2, because I’ve literally been looking for this chair style for years. Of course, as soon as I have found them I have put myself to work, and I have converted them to sims 3. 

As the creator of these objects (SnarkyShark) is so generous, I am currently working on converting more sets, so stay tuned!
